guess what's back Lads the best club competition in the world the champions league is officially back and the draw will take place tomorrow and I can't wait for it but there's a lot of people that are confused with the new format so you know what let me explain real quick for the longest time there used to be 32 teams in the Champions League but from this season onwards four teams have been added in each of the European competitions meaning there's 36 teams in each one this is where a lot of people get confused or keep up since there's no longer group stages and now it's just a league format each team will play eight different opponents from each of the four parts catches you can play two teams from the same league but you cannot play more than two teams from the same league for example if Arsenal draw by Munich and by Leverkusen they won't be able to get Bayern Munich in their group or STG guard or whoever else is in the Champions League from the bundes league then on top of that you can't face any opponents from the same league once again Arsenal won't be able to play against Man City Aston Villa or Liverpool here's an example of how the table will look after seven game weeks and on that last game week every single team plays on the same day which is match day eight on the 29th of January so keep an eye out for that bro
