All right. We are in full swing when it comes to the NFL. Let's talk about the Jags because wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr making a really impactful NFL regular season debut. The number 23 overall pick in the draft caught four passes for 47 yards on Sunday. His 14 yard touchdown reception in the second quarter, giving the Jags a 14 zero lead. He also set up the Jags first touchdown when he threw a 40 yard pass interference penalty in the end zone on Dolphins corner Jalen Ramsey. Time for it matters presented by Hilton. Hilton for this De Brian thank you so much for joining us. We're so pumped to talk to you. First of all, congrats on your NFL debut. You scored a touchdown. Blow a little kiss to the Dolphins fans. Make it all fun. How did it feel in your NFL debut and scoring in that debut as well? It was just a lot of excitement. Very exciting moment for me. Just as something being something I dreamed about as a little kid, just being in the NFL and scoring my first touchdown. So it was super exciting for me and just being able to do that in my first game. It was amazing. Brian, I'm not sure if you're, you know, deep into Jags Twitter, but if you are, you're really endearing yourself to Jags fans with a little back and forth in the matchup with Jalen Ramsey. So we know the corner wideout. Rivalries are always fun to watch. But talk to us about that matchup. In that game. We saw some chirping. You're a rookie so there's certainly some confidence there. But what were you guys saying to each other. And walk us through this matchup in the game. It was a fun matchup. Just being able to go against one of the top corners from my first game, it was it was fun, it wasn't nothing really that was said. I mean, it was just competitive. We both competing out there at a high level, just just football talk and just, that was that was really it. It wasn't nothing crazy. Okay, as mentioned, you are a rookie receiver. You have a lot of confidence. And your connection with quarterback Trevor Lawrence was on full display. Can you tell us how you you have that connection right out of the gate? Because sometimes it takes, you know, time to gel with the quarterback and receivers. But it looked like everything's going well. So far. How have you been able to make that chemistry and have it so quickly, just by getting as many reps as we can together during practice, whether it be after practice before practice, anything, just building that chemistry that way, just trying to get as many reps. Just talking through things. How he likes things, how he likes things to be, how I like to run certain routes or how I see certain things, just just talking through, like, little stuff like that. That's helped build our chemistry a lot. I want to kind of go back to your time at LSU because, you know, you're an LSU alum. Had an incredible season there. And I want to talk about your teammates to there. So you had Malik Nabers. Can you walk us through maybe how having guys like that and being able to motivate each other to now get to the next level? Yeah, me and Malik came in at the same time. We left at the same time. So, just us coming in at the same time. We motivated each other to be the best that we can be each and every day, and we just pushed each other to, go, go chase our dreams. And this is what we wanted to be. So we pushed each other, and we hold each other accountable to do that. And we still do that to this day. You mentioned still doing that to this day. Do you guys like what was it like before your NFL debut? Did you chat? Did you did you talk about it, yeah. We talked a little bit, but I mean, we was trying to just trying to focus in on what we had and the task at hand, it's me, Jaden and Malik, in a group chat together. So we just send each other positive text messages before each game and just tell each other to go out there and play hard, what about your favorite memory at LSU? I have to imagine the group chat was pretty fun back then when you were all together on the same team. But give us your favorite memory at LSU. What was it? It would have to be the, win we had versus Alabama at LSU when everyone stormed the field. I would have to say that was my favorite memory at LSU. Let's bring it back to the Jags. You guys are facing the Browns. That's going to be on CBS now down the stretch last season with the Jags. You know losing I want to say five of the last six there. And really coming up in the big moments. That's what's been important for the Jags to try and prove for this coming season. You have a lot of confidence. Is that something you guys have been talking about? Resiliency and really showing up in the big moments for this upcoming season? Yeah, that's been a key key focus for us is being resilient. Just staying focused, going one to know each week. We just want to go one zero each week. Focus on the task at hand and put your best foot forward. All right Brian, we certainly appreciate it. Good luck in week two. We
