I know that you've uh you've you've topped yourself each and every time out how how you ever going to top this one this is gigantic um what I've always said like me winning that aw World Championship was like phase two that was the beginning of phase two in my career you know that um right now I'm in the midst of like a renegotiation stage because I'm really enjoying my uh status here in a I'm enjoying everything about the the locker room the roster the talent the the motion I love the fact that like I'm part of a really big part of building the company to different like um Revenue a different Avenues and things like that far as aw so that's going to be the beginning of phase three of my career and this is just like truly just the beginning of what's about to happen for me for me unlike not just the wrestling side but everything all together as a performer so phase three is is helping to build aw even to bigger and better things in the future correct uh no I I I don't know how you put the phases in and everything but when you won that world championship a few months ago has it been exactly what you expected being the aw world champion and as far as your expectations of what that would feel like how is it measured up um it's uh it's it's been coming from saboa Joe and then going from sjo to uh from mjf that's like those are like really big you know Leaps and Bounds of like status you know those guys did great things with the championship and gr Joe was like one of the probably the biggest world championship we've world champion we've had like in stature of legacy of just like tenure and like style he was like a Titan to go to go through so to be able to work with him was like one it was one of the bucket list things of for me in my career but like it was also probably one of the hardest people I've ever had to face in aw you know that just earning that respect from that man in the locker room and in the ring and on the microphone it's it's a lot you got to be you know you got to like go you got to go into deep you got to up your game so much that you have to go to different depths that you never had to before you know and so that's a lot of weight to carry on to like carrying the championship the for myself you know also me being making history being the first African-American world champion that's another that's another status of like things you got to like you got to set the bar now and that's always tough like you're the first so all eyes are on you all eyes are on the promotion all eyes are on Tony Khan all eyes are on the the every match because like we're waiting to see like how this hand how how I handle the pressure and if I can if I could if I'm going to drop it for me it's always been about progressing and growing each and every time each and every opponent each and every pay-per-view each and every Dynamite Collision Rampage it's about doing something unique that's going to just make people want to remember it for a long time and then people want to see you like if at some point want to see you Champion again well let me ask about this match in particular because if you win this match Brian Danielson has said he will never wrestle again um are are you are you comfortable with ending Brian danielson's career 100 per. that's one that's one of those things I talk about being unique in the title reing like what's more unique in my Championship Reign than ending the in ring career of like one of the greatest like of our era
