Washington Huskies a lot of change this season they come into the Big 10 and you talk about good transition for Oregon kind of a toughy transition um for Washington but they're built for it right with Jed fish um they only return two starters on offense and four on defense coming off of a 14- one Runners up win the Pack 12 you lose kayin abor obviously you lost all that talent in the NFL you bring in Will Rogers from Miss Mississippi State a proven quarterback that can throw the rock you bring in a guy we're both high on Jonah Coleman running back who's gonna have a lot of carries um Arizona transfer like you mentioned yeah and um look I want to bring it to you because you're you're Washington Huskies guy you live there you go to a lot of Washington games you got a lot of plugs in the program a lot of people that you know um talk to me about what you see from Washington this season um in the Big 10 you know what'll be interesting for me adding a veteran quarterback in the transfer portal like a Will Rogers but then having a relatively untested receiver room will be very interesting to see how it works because if you think about it kind of Michael pennx and Jaylen McMillan Jaylen pulk and romad dun were kind of able to get two full years of work together um and obviously in year two is when they truly took off and went to the moon um and I think the fact that Will Rogers is only going to get one year is gonna be kind of difficult now a young name to remember there's two one is the transferer Jeremiah hunter from Cal at receiver but also Denzel Boston a local guy um his brother actually played High Lev college football as well so I think the fact that you have a Denzel Boston returning for udub he didn't transfer when um Kaylin debor left he stayed home he stayed at on Mont Lake and then you add into Jeremiah Hunter those two together I think are going to create kind of a dynamic duo and then you have Jonah Coleman in the backfield I don't believe that the drop off is going to be super duper drastic in terms of production on the offensive side of the ball to me obviously the fact that you lose what you lost on the defensive side of the ball for you dub is going to be big um kind of they had a Bend but but don't break kind of philosophy they weren't really shutting teams down um they just basically had to like be good enough to allow that offense to kind of get rolling um I think uh Cameron fabiculanan coming Cameron fabiculanan coming back is a huge keep um for udubb and a steadying presence in that secondary that doesn't have a ton of experience um however for biky Len being able to come back is going to like I said kind of be that eraser in the back end um for udubb so I do believe that there's a bowl game on tap for Washington and because as we know Jed fish already took he took winless Arizona and took them to 10 and three last year so it'll be interesting to see how he's able to kind of resurrect obviously the PowerHouse that Universal Washington already is it's just that they lost you're basically starting from scratch out there on Mon lake so it'll be interesting to see how that goes I think it's interesting too that offensive defensive coordinator I mean the defensive coordinator you got belich che's kid Steve bellich as a DC and on the offensive side you've got Pete Carroll's son I think Brennan Carroll is his name he's gonna be the offensive coordinator he was from Arizona kind of came over with Jed fish but look I mean Jed fish you head in the Big 10 vetan quarterback Rogers real interested though you look at their their schedule pretty easy first couple weeks at Ruckers might be tough Michigan at Iowa you know if Will Rogers kind of gets a little dinged up when do we see Dean Williams you know The Talented Four Star out of Arizona that's kind of like Jed fish and him have that great relationship when he made that move to Washington he decided to move to Washington as well real intrigued to see guy in DeMont Williams who's got you know similar skill sets to an faf kind of a smaller dual threat guy with the big arm I'm real interested to see if he gets some reps this season even early on um I I see wber State and Eastern Michigan they should blow him out of the waters Washington State week three apple cup again we mentioned the Civil War that's going to be interesting to see that early in the year um that being in Seattle but yeah I agree with you I think this is a team that is going to make a bowl game I think it's going to finish higher than expectations I think you know I'm looking at this um the preseason poll round 10 or around 14 is what people project but I think if they could definitely get an upset against you know a Michigan or USC or you know whoever at home that definitely spark something for years to come but a very young team and um you mentioned all those names I'm looking forward to seeing it's crazy the returning I'm looking at the returning wide receiver and it's GES Jackson with 14 catches 106 yards from last season crazy crazy yeah yeah that off that offense is replacing a lot obviously you know heisen runner up um bitov finalists um thousand yard receivers like it's it's crazy uh Dylan Johnson was a thousand yard running back but when you add Jonah Coleman who spoiler alert he's my exactor Jonah Coleman being able to run the football um I think that uming offensively isn't going to suffer as much as people might think I think it's going to be on the defensive side of the ball that they might struggle and I think not necessarily because they got so much worse but that the conference and the competition is going to get that much better um in the Big 10 yeah you you you're spot on with that my Jonah Coleman's going to be my X Factor too looking forward to seeing him I feel like Arizona sometimes didn't give him enough carries last year I get you got Noah fa and you've got tedar McMillan and that and even Jacob calling at the wide receiver position but I did want to see more carries from Jonah Coleman this is a guy I think that's got upside potential similar running style to a Dylan Johnson seeing him being a thousand yard type of running back I think is going to be my ex factor for Washington too all right let's get to 11 through 18 we're grinding through these teams these are kind of the teams I think we're going to roll through quickly you know these could teams that could make bowl games could maybe scare some teams and they've got some good coaches which you can't really count them out
