David. You enjoy your birthday? Yeah, and it was a good team win and yeah, good to get another one in the series. Carlos talked about how good your fastball was at the top of the zone. At what point the night did you start to realize that was going to be the pitch that you could really lean on? Yeah I think it's pretty early on. We were able to execute with the fastballs up at the top of the zone. And here we were getting swings in. This isn't so kept going back to it and using some of the other stuff to be able to get back to it. Good work of confidence is the word that are you just gaining as you keep stacking up these good starts, why laughter? Yeah, I think good performances do that for, you know, they build confidence and now just trying to look back at the starts and what did I do? Well, what can I build off of and What needs to get better for the next one? And so, you know, I think we're just sticking to the process and taking it one start at time, one pitch at a time and trying to simplify it as much as we can feeling extra importance with The games that were in September? Yeah I mean there's obviously ramifications that these games come with but I think we're still taking it one game at a time. We're trying to go want to know every day and just because we're getting late later into the season, we're not changing anything. We're coming every single day and like I said, take it one day at a time and try and go win that one game and then and then we'll move on. Feeling or sense in The Dugout. Yeah no I felt the same thing. I felt like in attending that he hit the Homer. If we could get a guy on and get him up to the plate, something special is going to happen and he's been doing a lot. He's had a great year and I know he's going to continue to do. Do what he does. And yeah, it's special. He's He's been doing a lot of it lately. And when I think you saw is kind of contagious at the end, you know, guys, those those runs at the end were huge for us to kind of continue to lead and put ourselves in a good spot for the night. So yeah, he's been doing great and I think everybody in the lineup, has a come working every day, whether doing good or bad and trying to contribute for summers at the show this year, I think it was in the past. How important is that? Been to your overall? Yeah, it's been very important. I think being able to use the two different Fastballs has been big and so yeah, just depending on our plan in the matchups, you know, that kind of dictates the usage and kind of how the game's going. And so I think early on tonight kind of like we talked about before seeing was going to be something that I could use to my advantage. What is the career high in strikeouts meant for you? Cool. I think it's yeah I mean it's a cool thing to have but the wind is more special. I want to do plan on, or have you already celebrated your birthday? The winds good enough for me. I will take that that's a good enough present for me and call a family and say good night. Yeah. And we'll top it off. But Carlos, we talk almost daily now about when door, but has it gotten to the point recently where it almost feels like whenever you guys need a big hit, he's gonna find a way to deliver it. Yeah, I think every time he's at the plate, we feel good about our chances. And that was a case today on what it looked like, it was going to be a tough night, you know, we had a hard time. I'm picking up a quarter Crafters Kotter specially and then the four seam and, you know, he was strike out by after strike out and then you know, that up that McNeil with a huge walk and then indoor coming through and then you know, in that inning the double. So, yes, every time he's at the plate, there's a good feeling. He's locked in right now. You guys find a way to add on at the end, but what what did you think of? What read Garrett was able to come on and do for you guys there in the eighth? Yeah. I was probably one of the best we've seen, you know, probably when I go back you know early in the year when he first came up but for him to come in in that situation first and second got a Grumble we don't get an out and then just continue to make pictures I thought every pitch was pretty nasty and in the zone he stay on the attack got the Fly ball. I told McNeil throwing the ball to second base and keeping the double play in order was a sneaky really good play. Then we got the ground ball again because of Garrett. Kept making pitches in to for us to get out of that inning and then being able to come back and add on and put together, some really good at that, that was a really good team, one. Tony, what do Peterson do? So well to be able to miss bats that effective leadership. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I thought, the for seen today was really good. I thought that was the key. He was getting a lot of swing and Miss especially at the top of the zone and the secondary pitches were there too. They was couple of at-bats when you know he used the breaking ball for strike one then he went slider then who wouldn't change up then the for seemed like everything sequencing told him in Alvarez, did a hell of a job. But today the key for me was the four seam at the
