ladies and I'm a WNBA fan it's been good season they could they cannot have [ __ ] this Caitlyn Clark thing up any worse if they tried if you got people in a room yeah like if you got a bunch of dudes in the room and says let's [ __ ] up the WNBA we couldn't have came up a master plan what these women have done this girl is incredible what she did in college for women's basketball what she's doing in the WNBA she turned the fever over one and eight they're they have a winning record now but the the number of attention eyeballs she's bought the cge and the pros and for these women to have this Petty jealousness you saying to yourself damn what is going on here and well you got to us of that stuff too with the older players being resentful of the new generation which it's kind of part of the basketball process everybody thinks their generation the best no no anytime we say something about guys it ain't the old get off my long guy yeah but the the stuff toward her is petty and jealous uh and the thing I love about her she do she never says a word and now when I watch her two things I like she she's playing much faster yeah much faster she was playing too slow the first half of the Season she she tired I think she was banged up from the they didn't even give her the the the understanding like you girls been worded for the WNBA season y'all been working out on the no she came straight out of college and had to go right to the WNBA like two weeks later so they didn't Factor them but I think she when I watched her play the last month I think she's learning to play much faster because I think she's learning to trust those girls more because know she's in college she's not passing to a bunch of great players now you can see when she plays she's playing a lot without the ball she remind me a lot of Jason kid Jason kid is the best I've ever seen with playing without the basketball yeah I played with Jason kid one time in an allar game he say you know you should be getting like six to eight points a game more right that's what you talking about he say I'm gonna kick it ahead to you yeah he say your point guards wait and give you the ball too late if I give you the ball Full Speed Ahead instead of waiting for you to finish you get another eight to 10 points a game that is a very good point right there and that is exactly what you see Lexi Hall doing what you see Kelsey Mitchell doing and what you see Aaliyah Boston doing and this is why I keep telling people I don't think Kelsey Mitchell is g to want to leave bro because she understand understands that she could get a a quick 20 piece going back door giv a fake Baseline going to pop the three around the screen playing off ball she she can understand that she doesn't need to have the pressure on her as a point guard and she can still put up 20 25 30 points a game with no problem so I'm I'm glad that he brought this point up because Caitlin Clark is running faster she is playing at a higher Pace she is being a little bit more physical she understands okay we're going to be physical in this league okay let me use my speed to get around you let me start pulling up let me start showing you a little bit you know um different different situations or different uh styles of my game let me pull the three ball let me get my team involved let me let me make them threats so you guys can take the pressure off me as well but Chuck is absolutely you know he's right I mean not Chuck Char I mean we'll call him CH but Barkley's right man look the girls in the WNBA have been Envy have been jealous have been and they it shows because every time it's against Clark you can see a little bit of that edginess all the time you can see it so he is right you know I wouldn't say they completely mess it up but you guys have done some things that you shouldn't have done this year and you made it very obvious so let's continue and hear what they got to say but yeah man this is a great take right here obviously as I said in my last podcast when you have a girl like this and now she's starting to really put put that belt to the butt on you guys and really starting to play it's going to be an I Told You So moment and now you're going to start getting old heads like Chuck and Char I mean everybody else talking in a way where you're not going to like it look at what Stephen A just did with SH and sharp it it's going to start happening because Caitlyn Clark is proving everybody wrong so she's starting to see now if I play faster and give it to them sooner so that t she's really smart but these ladies who I love and respect their game they couldn't have [ __ ] this thing up any worse with because we have talked and tell about Asia Asia will is the best woman player in the world right now she's in incredible Connecticut Sun's having a great year the Memphis uh Minnesota links is having a great year but that's been so much negativity and a lot of it is just Petty jealousness and I love the way she just and I tell you what really good happen to her not making the Olympic team totally agree well it I gave her a break that's that's what I was getting ready to say yeah giving her that time off has given her a chance to recharge her battery I I so it end up she probably didn't deserve to make the Olympic team on Merit but her getting that time off probably was the best thing happened to her well the other thing that happened her teammates you could see like a little osmosis you watch that team now and they're pretty unselfish to watch like they're making extra passes and it's the kind of stuff that happens when you're playing with a great player well but some of that some of that's her fault bill because she's like I say she I think she had one other girl on her team who made it to the WNBA but she's learning now I can play without the ball that goes back to remember when um text winner uh it says Michael oh the triangle you g to trust these other guys because first of all it's gonna make it easier on you playing without the ball it's much easier like for me I can use myself as an example not that it's about me when I got traded to Phoenix and they gave me Dan Marley Kevin Johnson said and those guys man the G it goes back to the stuff I told you about the Olympics man it was just so easy for me to play basketball because I didn't have to make every pass I didn't have to score every basket yeah and I think Kaitlyn is learning that now like oh I can trust her I can trust her I can trust her I can trust her I tell people that's why I said earlier about the Olympics man when you the game is so easy when you play with better players the game is only hard when you play with guys who suck and that that is true but I'm gonna say this we're not going to act like Indiana's the best team in the league either you know it is Indiana yeah they have some first round picks and things like that but it is Indiana you got to look at what they've done even with the first round picks last year the year before Caitlyn Clark has brought a winning mentality and I think that's the number one thing Caitlin Clark brought a winning mentality to Iowa and now she brought a winning mentality to the Indiana Fever now I always say this and I always preach this I love that Caitlyn Clark does what she can and makes the most out of the hand she's been dealt with this team is on fire right now I have seen not only um Caitlyn Clark Elevate I've seen Alissa Smith Elevate I've seen Lexi Hall Elevate I've seen Kelsey Mitchell Elevate I've seen Aaliyah Boston Elevate I've seen a lot of these girls I've seen Christy sides Elevate now this team right here has figured it out and it started with the bonding time they had during the break so Chuck is absolutely right it is very important that Caitlyn Clark didn't go to the Olympics I'm not going to say it was right but that's a big part of their team chemistry right now and they're winning ball games when you're winning ball games everything just clicks at a higher level and everybody should understand that if the fever were losing games how do you think the fever felt one and eight earlier on in the season they they weren't messing with each other like that their attitudes weren't the best they weren't happy to play they weren't excited you don't think the Indiana Fever are excited right now with the fans behind them with everybody behind them with the media team going crazy with everybody filling up the stat sheet I'm sure everybody's getting emails they're getting endorsement deals I'm sure they're getting managers I'm sure you know what they're bringing to Indiana is something contagious and who's not going to want to play there so I I get it people are starting to get frustrated you know and and just because of what Caitlyn Clark has dealt with because Caitlyn Clark has never asked for any of this you guys brought this on Caitlyn Clark not you guys but the just the fans whoever it was bringing in the you know the racist stuff and things like that it shouldn't be that way just enjoy the game of basketball man for me Caitlyn Clark she's the best woman basketball player I've seen play that's just me personally that that you know these are older heads that I you know I I I watch and things like that I'm a Young Gun Man cayin Clark to me is the most um attractive ractive basketball player Style style of basketball player I've ever watched so I'm just excited for where the game's going I think she's tearing the league up right now I think it's going to be dangerous for the league moving forward and I can tell these girls are jealous I'm not even trying to be F I could tell I could look at them and look how they act and they're jealous of her who's not going to be who's not going to be you got a girl coming out of ey will putting belt to booty she getting all the hype she getting all the she got the biggest and biggest contracts of of endorsement deals of endorsement deals you know what I'm saying like y'all want to sign to this and that I'm gonna sign to Nike Prada Gucci Louie Versace you know what I'm saying I'm sure she's got all kind of things working and money working for her and Investments going here and things like that that we don't know about that these players are probably like well you know what I mean why why can't we get that why is it that her fans are all in our arena with their with her Jersey on all they could do now is just take advantage of the opportunity instead of hating so that's my opinion on it look it's your boy CIO back with another take on the whole Caitlyn Clark situation obviously Charles Barkley was feeling some type of way and he thinks the WNBA has failed Caitlyn Clark so there's my take on it I'm
