um big opportunity for you guys tomorrow uh a semi-final at home what's been the talk like within the group about the opportunity that you have in front of you and kind of what you guys want to do with it um of course we understand the opportunity this is uh we just just got to come out be strong we started very off very well against Orlando so we got to carry that kind of momentum into this game and this is a great chance to make finals open cup so that'll be really I know you've really kind of only been integrated with the team really for like the last year or so but the club does have this history like of success in this competition how aware of that were you before and did like when you came here how much did that you know make you aware of the significance of this tourament um obviously it's come up a lot of times during conversations I understand the history a little bit know a lot of guys talk about their memories good fond memories so uh just want to look add to that and doing that conversation myself you weren't a part of that team in 22 that that lost in the semi-final but have guys been talking about that at all around here um I Heard briefly yesterday talk about it um just passing conversation wasn't anything just again it was more of a warning we know coming up against the USL team USL Team guys can have a different type of mindset but they pointed that out said look what happened 2022 we can't come out the same way so you guys think that or do you think guys are using that as kind of motivation yeah of course it's got we got to look back at it it's like precedence just make sure we don't make the same mistakes you guys faced even with playing Omaha earlier in the year you guys have faced a couple of USL teams uh in this tournament and the Omaha game gave you a hard time you feel like that helps this group kind of have that right frame of mind going into a matchup like this yeah for sure uh helps with the experience obviously we understand that the teams come up they see us as an MLs side so it gives them that bit of extra motivation and we just have to adjust to that and play I guess above them just play harder than them and get the result well
