all right nice to see you lovely to see you as well I'm very well how are you okay all right London Film Festival last year is actually around the corner um you were debuting the film it's finally getting released we're back here at the BFI how' you feel I feel elated yeah it feels good to get finally get it out there yeah it feels like it's been a weight and uh I've had like some kind of constipation and it's finally been released okay you absolutely freaked me out after I chatted to you I was like okay we really got on he Daniel's cool then I watched your film okay I don't know where to start but can I just go right to the end of the film no spoilers but there is a scene at the end of this film which actually needs to be photographed I don't know if you did do that um morphe's character sat on to see Matt Smith next to her guys wait till you see it chilling great it freaked me out um what is going on in your imagination don't blame the author I was going to say it's taking it from the book but I don't know it you know what that that is a um it's a staple of a lot of like folktales something about um like the biology you know of people being connected to the land and to Nature and it actually they come together in way certain ways um so I was just drawing from that you know there's something about that final image that's quite uh like religious for me as well there the sort of concept of the um the like Resurrection you know spring time time there's that element to it those two though what was it like to watch them behind the cameras was there any one moment where you were like yes all the time a I mean it was all the time and they worked in different ways though you know mid would would morid would would uh just do it in one take you know and it would just be incredible uh so she did she was so studious you know and did all the work before she turned up on set and it was just incredible every take uh and and Matt was similar in in he liked to experiment though you know so we kept the camera rolling and you do like 10 takes and at the time you'd be like God I don't know what to do with all this um and you you'd watch it back and just realize that each tape there was something new and different there so it was such a pro in that way so the horror genre has a brand new director that's done something pretty incredible I hope everybody goes out and sees it how does it feel to have it about to be in cinemas um and also be part of this genre which I think is always thriving it feels great yeah I I love this genre especially sort of British folk Horrors and folk tales uh I'd love to be making these films for the rest of my life you weirdo but I love you for it pleasure to see you like with the film so it's so nice to see you again than
