the documentary was uh unlike any other interview I had ever done related to Baywatch which is really kind of the same old same old you know but uh you know Matt feler and Nicole Edgar being involved and Matt the guy that produced it directed it is this guy that you know grew up watching Baywatch and like was nicknamed Hobie like put streaks in his hair to be cool like his idols that he saw so it was like a a real like kind of Super Fan wanting to tell the story from his heart so uh I was just kind of like hanging out with a buddy telling the truth having fun and I mean I I think if you were to ask a thousand people what they think this documentary is going to look like and be like they would all be wrong this is going to be different than anybody can imagin ter of we didn't want to hear the fluff this time we wanted to hear what really went on and that was really refreshing actually to be able to talk about it and maybe shed some light on the truth of you know all of it the good the bad the ugly all of it but so yeah for me it was really nice to kind of revisit it and be able to talk about it very candidly and I I think in the documentary we're all going to talk about some of our hard times because I know everyone has had moments oh for sure and there's also but these iconic moments when you can get through something that's you would never think you could do you know it's interesting I was at the beach the other day and I saw a lifeguard a female lifeguard make a rescue and she was in a two-piece bathing suit and you know gorgeous and so I mean I feel like if Baywatch were to happen today I think it would be just a lot more modern I think this I think it could look as beautiful but it with a modern touch like with drone technology just all the different technology that's come out and you know I think it would be more open to body you know different body types and um as we can all see curvier girls and figures seem to be more on Trend these days so I think there would just be a little bit more I would hope that there would be you know different um just much more um open to different walks of life and different body types different people different ethnicities all of it across the board but I think it could be a really fun modern show I think it could be a great time for it to be you know to be invited to do the show and and be a part of this again is just so it's just astronomical and I'm just so I'm so honored and I I still you know I the memories are so just vibrant in the front of my head and I I I just it just really changed my life and I got to meet people I got to learn things I got to do a lot of traveling it was just like mindblowing when I started um was the first uh person woman female of color on the show and I just remember the Fanfare and all the people there was like a million people it seemed like just standing on top so many people from all around the world cameras and we come out to do a scene in that little red yeah one piece and that ended up being a thong at one point oh small and small did the old experience because you know sometimes you have a tendency or we as people have a tendency to not we always have a we we hang on to the the bad sometimes and this kind of but no no this I'm been accused of being a Pana okay but no but I'm saying that this experience has actually opened my eyes to the better side of what I experienced on Baywatch which has been really great because for a while there was a period where I wasn't as I didn't have the paana that she's talking about but after this and then seeing everybody again I yeah you know what it was it was good it was a good time so for me that's what I got out of it mostly I think what's interesting about the television series Baywatch is that um when we were on the show actually filming it even though it was the most popular show in the world with over 1 billion viewers a week which you never get now by the way um in the United States and especially in Hollywood there was quite a lot of derision towards the show and the actors in it but now 30 years later it's super cool to have been on that show it's like people it's hilarious how Hollywood has changed and now of course there's a reboot there's this documentary uh we play on Amazon uh you can or buy us on Amazon or it's their fast channels all over the world playing us 247 yeah the whole B watch channel who would have thought back then even though we were so popular we we as actors in Hollywood were getting every day sort of this I would get this so you're on Baywatch right right be this laugh I'd be like it's so what do I say is that uh and I felt like yes like and then they would say I never watched that show and my husband would go there are 1 billion people on the he would get so annoyed cuz people would immediately try distance themselves from the fact that they recognize me from the show so the fact that uh the perception of vatch has changed so much makes it interesting to revisit it now through the documentary yeah
