[Music] hi I'm Christine Maloof your host with the American dream TV and today we're here at the Cottonwood Creek Marina on Lake Lewisville Little Elm we're going to have some fun take a boat ride around Lake Lewisville head on over to the beach have some fun and then show up at the towers for good old food cold drinks and entertainment so I hope you have fun with us come join [Music] along I'm here with Jennifer with Little Elm Economic Development and we are at the beach right like this is so much fun Little Elm Beach um tell us a little bit about like what makes Little Elm so special I know being a local to the area people love coming to this area not just to live but for destinations for vacations give us a little bit of highlights so abolutely Lam is 60,000 in population we have over 66 miles of Shoreline it's such a great place to raise your family or also even just in retirement we've got some retirement neighborhoods in town so just great for all ages to be here over here we've got the beach is behind us and we've got some volleyball sand volleyball courts there's a business next to us called DFW surf they actually rent out canoes and paddle boards that is fun okay so I might have to come back and do that let's hopefully I don't flip them but it will be fun we should be good well yeah and you can tell like your parks and everything you have here is thriving and I mean I guess when we were on the way over here you were telling me a little bit about the beach and what's set you all apart about you have like ambassadors so give me a little about because I was really fascinated by that yeah so we've got Beach ambassadors that work here they work all day um throughout the summer months and we actually have a machine called The Tech 2000 it goes 6 in into the ground it picks up the sand cleans the sand fluffs the sand and then distributes it back out so that our our beach is able to stay fluffy and safe at all all the time which is nice so you know you're coming to a safe Beach it's nice and it's fun and it's it's a place that I'll come back with my nie probably sometime soon so I'm excited well thank you for having us here I say we head on over and like let's go eat and have some drinks maybe and like cool off a little bit so we're Goods all right thanks all right we just got off the boat and now we're heading over to Tower's to house for some cold drinks and some food and [Music] entertainment as you can see we are here at tow Tap House in Little Elm Texas and this is a favorite place to come chill hang out eat some good food if you love to Cable weight board or just like to people watch you need to come take a look at this place you can see people the sky got some Talent behind me I on the other hand would probably be the one face planning but you need to come on and let's hang out and let's eat some good grub [Music] now oh my gosh this looks so good first of all tell us a little bit about what we have like everything looks amazing so all right well it's Thursday and it's our famous catfish special so we started out with that with our famous cashal special then I got you our barbecue bacon burger stacked with the piled high with those onion rings and then we got our California chicken sandwich with avocado and thousand island and cheese and guacamole so it's really loaded with everything oh my gosh it looks so good and I'm ready to pick out and I'm very thankful I'm wearing my elastic waist so this will be good thank you oh my [Music] gosh thanks for joining us again on another episode of The American Dream TV I don't know about you but we had such a blast today I am full I am hot but you know what that water had a nice little breeze and it cold me off so I hope you join us next time thanks [Music]
