WBRZ's Lauren Hawkins in Manchac | Tracking Francine

all right guys I am in manack right now it's that 4:00 hour that we're on and we are right next to Lake marpa and you can tell the wind is really picking up at this time rain is slapping me in my face water is rising at this point just finished talking to retired fire chief George coxen here in manshack and he said he does expect the water to get higher right now it's a little bit below 3T you can see by this gauge but again it is steadily Rising I'm getting soaked out here and he expects it to get at least 5 ft and he also was adding that when it gets high it takes about a week or so for all of this water to come back down so it can affect a lot of things but for right now we definitely see things deteriorating real fast in this 4:00 hour so I'm going to go ahead find shelter but reporting in St John Parish Lauren Hawkins wbrz News 2
