the three Arizona team starting off with the Arizona Cardinals we're going to be talking about the preseason cuts that the Arizona Cardinals made we're going to be talking about the Cardinals trading Cameron Thomas to the Kansas City Chiefs and Darius Robinson going on the injured list and being out for the first four games of the season and then into the second segment we're going to be talking about the Diamondbacks briefly losing the series against the New York Mets at home the Diamond Back opening up a 4 game series against their biggest rival the Los Angeles Dodgers and we're going to be talking about how the wild card is currently looking in the National League West and in the National League and then we're going to be briefly talking about Arizona State football Sun Devils football coming back and then we're going to be talking about the Phoenix Suns and what is their cealing this year and then we're going to be talking lastly about Kevin Garnett saying that the Phoenix Suns seven weeks I can't believe it where is my time going uh but we're going to be getting into the first segment which we always start off with no other than the uh Arizona Cardinals and and there's quite a bit to talk about regarding the Cardinals uh as you guys know preseason just wrapped up and uh the Cardinals made quite a bit of uh moves that some are questionable some need to be talked about so I'm actually going to name every single player that the Arizona Cardinals cut after preseason a lot of these names that you guys hear you you probably won't even know them a lot of these guys some of these guys are still on our practice squad we just cut them from the 53 man roster so a lot of guys that they did cut are still on the team just not on the main roster um so I'm going to get started off on the names right here I actually have them on my phone uh I don't know every single player that they kept on the practice squad I only know a handful uh some of these players I don't even know like they were just a bunch of uh just extra bodies on the team I guess but before I do that let's get to the comments what's up Ralph how you doing uh yeah pray prayers to uh I I can't say his last name but prayers to uh the family uh of good hopefully I'm saying that right um yeah I can't believe uh they both died too both brothers died in a car wreck it's it's terrible um if you guys are ever driving please just make sure to just drive safe don't drive like an idiot just to save a few seconds of your life because you know if you drive too fast or too stupid you're not just losing a few SEC or gaining a few seconds you you could lose your life so just make sure you guys are being careful uh what's up Brandon how you doing man but let's get back to this so the Arizona Cardinals released the following players from the 53 uh man roster spot Andre pelia who they brought back on the practice squad I know that for sure Marcus Bailey Chris Barnes Jackson Barton Michael Carter which I found interesting they brought him back on the practice squad though TJ Carter Andre Cherry hopefully I said that right uh Dan chenna Jaden Davis who they just drafted but they brought him back on the practice squad as well Hassan Hall Maris Hayes Jr Bill Hoskins Keith Ismail NCoin Jones Tyreek Maddox Williams Miles Murphy Trevor noski uh towan Palmer Bobby Price who I'm pretty sure they brought back on the practice squad too correct me if I'm wrong uh where was I Desman Ritter which we'll get to that shortly uh burnhard sovit who they brought back on the practice squad Tyreek Smith Ben still Blake whiteart Elijah Wilkinson which also somewhat surprised me uh dad Wilson sage serat and then the players who went on the injured reserve so I'm done with the players that they just cut players on the injur reserved are uh Christian Jones Tony Jones Jr who had a decent preseason so it sucks to see that happen and then obviously our uh first round pick Darius Robinson which I'll get to Darius Robinson later in this uh segment but so some notable cuts that the Arizona Cardinals made obviously it starts off with Desmond Ritter obviously I knew one of our quarterbacks were gonna get were gonna get cut whether it was Clayton ton or Desmond Ritter um and I I wasn't surprised when I read Desmond Rider just because I mean I mean we traded this guy for rondale Moore who is gonna miss the rest of the season anyway over in Atlanta uh so at the end of the day that trade was basically nothing for nothing but you know it it just sucks that we traded Rond Del Moore for basically nothing when I feel like even though I wasn't really a big Rond Del Moore fan um I feel like we could have gotten at least maybe some draft capital for him but all we got was a third string quarterback that we eventually ended up cutting so obviously Clayton ton did outplay Desmond Ritter big time in the preseason so I knew I knew after like the second game it was going to be Desmond Ritter who did not make the cut but obviously the quarterbacks that we have are going to be Kyler Murray and Clayton T and I'm sure I hope Kyler stays healthy but if he doesn't we're going to have to sign another quarterback from the practice squad or something like that uh but that's how it's looking like as far as our quarterbacks go I was surprised when um we cut Michael Carter I mean just because I felt like he had a good preseason but at the end of the day if you guys look at our running back core I mean we got James Connor and Trey Benson who are going to be the onew punch in the backfield uh we had Tony Jones who we just put on the IR and then the third string who was it uh de marado so at the end of the day you know I knew that you know it is what it is uh unfortunately one of them had to go but and it just happened to be Michael Carter but we did bring him back on the practice squad we didn't just cut cut him so at the end of the day uh in case James Connor gets injured again which I feel like every single time I talk about these players they have a history of getting hurt so I just hope for the love of God that we can that we can stay healthy uh but you know I'm going to get to I'm going to get to health here in a little bit but before I do that we got to talk about some crazy some crazy drama that went down uh on Monty Austin for's part so the Cardinals traded Cameron Thomas to the Kansas City Chiefs for a 2025 sth round pick now I I felt like this trade was stupid I mean there's a lot of Cardinal fans who try to changed my mind just like always but um I don't get how Cameron Thomas had such a good preseason and we cut him or not cut him trade him so I mean and we didn't get a seventh round pick for you know like we got it for next year's draft but at the same time was that really all we could have gotten for Cameron Thomas I mean our dline well not our dline cuz he doesn't play dline but our linebacker core isn't as strong as it could be at least not at least it's not proven we have zaven Collins and Ma Wilson which is looking like a good Duo but at the end of the day they need of it right so I feel like this trade was kind of too early to make I felt like we should have kept him maybe just to see how he did at the beginning of this season and then you know if he didn't live up to expectations then maybe trade him but our pass rush already sucked so was it really necessary to make it suck even more before the season even starts like to me that just didn't make sense and I mean I feel like week one when we play um Buffalo Josh Allen is going to have a bunch of time in the pocket and he's just gonna sit in the pocket like he has like all the time in the world to find an open receiver or just somebody that he can easily easily dish the ball to and the bills are going to keep moving down the field it's like every single preseason game that I saw it made me realize that this this Cardinal team has no depth this team really has no depth like this preseason our team was looking terrible like I know it's our backups like our starting unit I could I somewhat like but it's just our death and this team has a hard time staying healthy at least these past couple or few years even uh the Cardinals have had a rough time staying healthy so if one starter goes down I just don't really see a valuable backup that can really take over I mean you know there there were some backups that that showed flashes but at the end of the day this team if they you know like I said I feel like every Arizona team in my life just cannot stay healthy for whatever the reason um if one of our starters much less one of our important starters go down were screwed at least for that position we're screwed so I felt like this trade was completely unnecessary and when this trade did first happen I thought I thought to myself well Monty Austin for he doesn't make this move unless he tries to unless he's trying to get another pass rusher right so when this when this trade first happened I was like wait is manty aen Fort going to try to bring in another pass rusher like sign Yanni kak maybe tried to trade for Hanan reck again even though it failed tremendously the first time so and as of August 30th 2024 mon Austin for as far as I know or as far as what I've read has not tried to bring in another pass rusher so at the end of the day this trade looks stupid to me it would have made sense had we brought in another pass rusher like you know maybe a day or so after the trade but so far we haven't done that uh but who knows maybe that'll change uh maybe even during the episode who knows for all I know I'm live on this episode right now the the Cardinals could have maybe made a trade by now and I don't know about it so it it's just something to think about I just feel like the depth on this team is so bad that if one of our starters goes down it's not going to look pretty so do what you will with that but uh moving on so Darius Robinson so I said last episode Darius Robinson has a calf injury um and that and last week we didn't know if it was going to be season ending we didn't know if it was going to be like missing a majority of the Season uh at least at that time we didn't know and uh basically yeah he uh he went on the IR so he it's not really a guarantee that he's going to come back week five because being on the IR means that he's going to miss the first four games at least so it that's what the report said was that Darius Robinson is going to be uh out for at least the first four games for at least so it wasn't like a guarantee he was going to come back week five or anything like that but I'm just happy it wasn't season ending uh we should all be happy about that because it could have been a lot worse and honestly if you look at the first four games Buffalo I still I feel like we're going to get demolished in that game but it is what it is the Rams until we beat sha McVey consistently I'm not picking us against the Rams um week three we got Detroit even before Detroit became the Detroit Lions that we know now we were still losing to them so even if the lions were a bad team I would still pick the Lions to beat us and then week four we got the commanders so the commanders game is the only winnable game I really see out of those four games so it's like is Darius Robinson really missing much or not really I mean it would be nice to have him it would give us a better chance to win but at the end of the day with or without him these four games I would not see as winning at least maybe the commanders game but other than that I just don't see a winnable game that we have so you know at the end of the day Darius Robinson's out for four games at least he might even be out for way more than that for all we know um I'm just glad that it's not season ending and we're at least GNA see him at some point this season um but at the end of the day I just hope that this doesn't turn into I don't know just a terrible history that Darius Robinson's going to have of getting hurt um I just hope that this this was a onetime injury and he could stay healthy going forward uh because the last thing I would want is for us to draft this guy in the first round and he's just consistently injured over and over again so um it is what it is Darius Robinson is out for the first four games at least so he could come back as early as week five who were we playing week five I lowkey forgot um but anyways so that's all I got for the Arizona Cardinal segment and when we get back I'm going to go on a quick break but when we get back we're going to be talking about the Arizona Diamondbacks and they're coming off a series loss against the New York Mets in Arizona and we're going to be talking about the Diamondbacks and Dodgers series starting today it's going to be a great series it's a four game series too so we're going to see those two teams play quite a bit here in these next few days and then we're going to be talking briefly about the NL Wild Card so when we get back we're going to be talking about baseball so that being said guys once again guys you're watching the might be your favorite show for all we know so but welcome back and let's get into our next SE which will be the Arizona Diamondbacks um so the these Arizona Diamondbacks uh they obviously you know at some point it looked like they were going to lose a series I mean when you have guys like catel Marte gabiel Moreno Christian Walker injured excuse me um you're not going to play at your fullest okay especially when you've got I mean we do have good depth like Josh Bell who's a solid first baseman but he's been kind of quiet lately um second bases second baseman Kevin Newman sucked the other day uh matter of fact the entire series and then um Adrien del Castillo who's he's a good hitter but as a Defender I he's not lived up to expectations and then you also got Jos Herrera who you know is a little bit lower than ADC so obviously with the injuries that the Diamondbacks are dealing with right now it's not obviously they're they're not going to play at their fullest potential right now I mean when Marte was playing it looked like he was going to win the MVP um but then he got injured so it's looking like the NL MVP is going to go to no other than the gambling Golden Boy in La um Francisco Lindor is having an amazing season two uh so he might come in second for all we know uh but it it is unfortunate but at the end of the day um the Diamondbacks lost uh the series the other day against the New York Mets uh in Arizona so before I talk about this series I I just need to make something clear every single time the Arizona Diamondbacks play the New York Mets it doesn't matter how good we are it doesn't matter how bad we are it doesn't matter how good or how bad the Mets are the Mets always beat us all right so while people could sit here and say oh you guys are frauds you guys suck I mean it happens every single time we play the Mets for some reason it's just everybody has that one team that for some reason they just cannot beat they just cannot own I guess whatever you want to call it and for us it's the New York Mets so I it's so weird really don't get it I I feel like the Mets I mean what they're like six or seven games behind us in the Wild Card right now and I mean they just won a series against us and they won the season series against us too I think they beat us by only one game so uh they barely won the season series against us and this series was the deciding factor for it uh what's up Marcus yep salute to you too man Marte and jock keep me paid with home run dude joh Peterson is I can't believe I wanted uh Jorge cair over Jack Peterson but I know for a fact I wasn't the only one and boy was I wrong on that so Jack Peterson's been doing his thing and it's it's very nice to see but um so unfortunately I couldn't see the uh the first and the last game of this series I did see the highlights I did see the box scores and this and that but when I was watching the second game uh yeah we were up four to zero and then the Mets came back and made it five to four and then Corbin Carroll saved the day with a grand slam on Edwin Diaz too so the second game was very fun to watch I'm glad I missed the first and last one because from what I saw uh looking back at the tape our defense was so sloppy like the Mets should not have beaten us uh the other day the Mets had no business beating us yesterday but in the ninth inning Heraldo Pomo not just the ninth inning the entire series our defense looks sloppy Pomo I had no idea what kind of Defense he was playing in that series but it looked absolutely horrendous um Kevin Newman has gotten on my last nerve regarding his defense and even his batting too like Kevin Newman I I don't even know why he's still here but anyway um see I don't want to rush catel Marte back or I don't want the team to rush Kel Marte back if it were up to me I probably would have just because I want this team to win so bad but it's just I'm so sick and tired of seeing Kevin Newman on second base it's like it's like Kel can you just get healthy already I know I don't want him to get injured again but at the end of the day it's it's starting to really annoy me the fact that Kevin Newman is his replacement um we also still have Luis gour um or is I like to call him FNG if you guys know what that means uh because he was the and um he he looks solid he didn't play that bad he hasn't played that bad with us or anything like that I mean he's um he's had a few RBIs here and there a couple base hits he's drown he's uh dra some Walk So at the end of the day uh gouret is not playing that bad for us um but we all know what Tory lll loves to do which is basically just throw these random lineups at these other teams and just call it a day and we end up losing so and it's always the last game of each series as well I I never understand why uh but as far as the Mets just wanted it more honestly I mean Francisco Lindor went off uh in the last game the other day he had a he had a good series overall but the second game especi or the third game especially he went off for a home run I'm pretty sure he was the one that gave him the ninth inning lead too so uh he came up big for the Mets in the last game uh their pitchers they they look pretty good uh especially the first uh and third game obviously um so the Mets just wanted this series more at the end of the day I don't feel like the Mets are better than us I don't think the Mets had any business beating us I do feel like this series we beat ourselves a little bit because of the sloppy defense that the Diamond Backs were playing and because of the stupid ass base running that they were doing I mean Jack Peterson got caught trying to steal second like so many times in this series same thing with Josh Bell it's like the base running in the defense is what killed us in this series it's not that the Mets murdered us because they didn't murder us each game that they won against us except for the first game the first game was a blowout but the last game was just so half fast from the Mets it just came down to stupid base running and stupid defense that's the reason the Mets beat us so at the end of the day this series was it it feels like the Tampa base series all over again right it was just terrible defense and terrible base running and that's the reason why we lost this series I don't think the Mets or the Rays earned the victories against us but at the end of the day they wanted it more and they got it so I digress the Mets beat us uh two games to one and they take the season series overall against us so let's just hope we stay ahead of the Mets and they don't go on a hot streak um so let's move on to the next topic which starts today so we got some uh business to take care of for these next few days we're taking on the Los Angeles Froggers in Arizona uh we have a four game series starting today it's going to be Clayton Kershaw against Zack Gallen excuse me so Clayton Kershaw against Zack Gallen now Zack Gallen came off a really good game in his last outing um I can't remember who was who was it against was it the Miami Fu I forgot but he he had a good game in his last outing right he uh played six Innings only gave up one run so he's looking to uh transition that into this series against the tough Dodgers lineup who have been playing lights out lately as much as I hate to admit it they're first in the division uh they're ahead of us by four games so some magical way if we sweep this team we would be tied for first place in the division so I'd be happy as hell if Christian Walker were playing because whenever he plays against the Dodgers we murder him right but um if I had to make an honest unbiased prediction I think this is the series where the Dodgers beat us okay I'm not saying the Dodgers are better than us because I still feel like when both teams are fully healthy we are the better team okay I still feel that way but at the end of the day we're just they're just the more healthier team because without catel Marte Gabby Moreno and Christian Walker we just I don't just I don't see us winning three games games against this team I'd be happy if we tied with this team with the way the Dodgers are playing right now and you know we're coming off a series loss I mean I'd be happy if we at least tied the series at this rate if we win the series and I can't wait to see this team when they're fully healthy again but at the end of the day as long as we can tie this series I'd be okay with it I don't expect a sweep I don't really expect three wins either because this Dodgers lineup has been playing Amazing lately the only way I could see us winning this series so if you take a look right here right I have it on my phone right now because I'm not going to share my screen because for some reason it gets copyrighted so I'm G to read it off my phone right here so today we got Clayton Kershaw and Zack Gallen Clayton Kershaw so far is two- two this season with the Dodgers a 3.72 ER and 24 strikeouts Zach Gallen has a 10- six record a 3.65 ra and 111 strikeouts so clayon Kershaw's kind of had a bumpy start this season I mean I always knew father time was going to catch up to Clayton Kershaw and it looks like this season it's starting to do that a little bit um you know then again he hasn't played that long he's coming off an injury so I'll cut him some slack even though he doesn't deserve it um and then tomorrow we got Gavin Stone who's 11 and5 a 3.33 ER 112 strikeouts versus Marl Kelly who was 4-0 a 3.98 ra and 32 strikeouts for this game Merill Kelly has kind of had a bumpy start since he came back from injury and if you look at his career against the Dodgers it is not pretty at all the only time Marl Kelly has beaten the Dodgers was in the playoffs last year game one so the Dodgers being the regular season team that they are that's one of the games I could see us losing because history does lie Marl Kelly sucks against the Dodgers and the Dodgers always get to him so at the end of the day you know Merill Kelly hopefully he can bounce back because we're going to need Merill Kelly 2023 Merill Kelly for for the 2024 playoffs we're going to need that big time and then Sunday September 1st the Dodgers pitcher is to be determined but for that game we've got Brandon fought pitching who was eight and seven of 4.31 RA and 145 strikeouts so Brandon fought has been that type of pitcher where he'll give you a good solid three or four Innings but then in the fifth and sixth inning he'll kind of give up some runs this in that that's where Brandon fought starts to get letting down a little bit um for this game we're really gonna have to strike first a lot before Brandon F loses his um Mojo so but that's uh but we don't even know who's pitching for the Dodgers yet so we'll see okay and and then for the last and final game September 2nd we have Jack flarey who just got traded to the Dodgers and he has a 10 and6 record overall 3.07 ER and 167 strikeouts pretty good season to Eduardo Rodriguez who was 2-0 5.06 RA and 16 strikeouts so Ed Rodriguez against the um the Mets in the second game started off good but then he gave up five straight runs just a brutal well I don't want to say Eduardo Rodriguez has been bad for us because overall he really hasn't it was just the Met game where he looked terrible but other than that Eduardo Rodriguez has looked pretty good for us so far at least compared to Jordan Montgomery's trash ass so at least compared to that he's looked pretty good so but Tak it on Jack FL though from what I know he's had a good start with the Dodgers so hopefully that uh hopefully that goes down a little bit excuse me I'm like losing my voice right now and then uh um after that we take on the San Francisco Giants by the way so that's who we got after the Dodgers so looking at this Dodgers and Diamondbacks uh series at the end of the day I just be happy if we tied I wouldn't even you know Zack Gallen while he is coming off a good start I still feel like he's not quite there right now as of lately so you know we'll see what happens um at the end of the day I feel like this will be the ser series that the that the Dodgers finally beat us and then you know you guys know the drill if we Face the Dodgers in the playoffs we're going to we're gonna murder him you know so uh wait hold up uh all right so on to the next topic all right so we're gonna take a look at the wild card right here so I'm not going to share my screen because I got copyrighted on my personal Channel not this not national league right now you got the Dodgers in first place who just reached 80 wins uh the Phillies second Brewers third because they lead the division um and then the Wild Card you got the Diamondbacks the Padres and the Braves which as you guys could see right here here are the records and then you got the Mets out are below them Cubs Cardinals Etc so as you guys can see right here so the Padres are still behind our tals by one game and the Mets or no not the Mets the Braves are three games behind us and the Mets are six games behind us so these next few series are really going to be crucial um I I don't want to say this Dodger Series today is the most important series out of any other series that we have going forward I feel like the most important series of this season is going to be the last series of the year which is against the Padres I think it's in Arizona too so we have a little Advantage so I think that's going to be the most important series out of uh every other series that we have and then we're taking on the Giants and then um you know the rest of our schedule for the most part we're playing against teams that are in contention for the wild card and we're playing against teams that honestly could you know upset us a little bit and we're playing against contenders so I think we have one series left with the Rangers who even though they suck this season hey they have our number so the end of the day it is what it is so this time to think about uh obviously the like it's going to be very crucial right because it it's all about getting that first place wild card I don't really think we're going to win the division I don't see us winning the division with how good the Dodgers have been playing lately um you know the Dodgers will probably get a fluke division title one more year and then they'll probably fall off after that uh but anyway um I feel like you know we should really be focused on the first place Wild Card seating right now and if we get that especially playing against a team like the Padre's or the Braves or somehow if the Mets come back I mean you never know playing against teams like that we're going to need the home field advantage right uh even though we were a very good road team in the playoffs last year uh this season it's all about just playing at home right just playing at home I think we only lost like until the Rangers kicked our ass at home in the World Series I think we only lost like one playoff game at home or something like that so the diamond are better at home right obviously no questions asked so it's going to be very important and it's it's not going to be easy um we don't exactly know I think Tory lell did come out and say that he could expect Marte and Walker to come back in the giant series no updates on Gabby Moreno yet Gabby's most likely going to be out until like right before the post season um which hopefully ADC or posie Herrera whoever he throws out there can just keep it going um but yeah it's going to be very important so it's going to be an interesting uh rest of the way I think we have like 25 games left in the regular season so it's uh it's going to be interesting for the uh the playoff push because you know as much as I feel like we are going to make the playoffs guys six games I if we got 25 games left and we're only six games ahead there's a chance if one team happens to be cold us and the other team happens to be hot we're out that because that's how baseball is you know so it's going to be very interesting but that's the end of the Diamondback segment I'm going to go on uh we're going to go on the second break and when we get back we're going to be talking briefly about ASU football starting tomorrow they're taking on Wyoming and then we're going to be talking uh predicting the Phoenix Sun stealing this season and then we're going to be talking about Kevin Garnett saying that the Phoenix Suns are going to be a tough team talk about ASU football is starting tomorrow uh at 7:30 p.m. Pacific Standard Time against the University of Wyoming now obviously Arizona State being in a new conference against tougher opponents well somewhat tougher opponents I don't really obviously ASU has not been the the football hasn't been good in a while you know like I I always talk about normally how I focus on the basketball Sun Devils because they're they always come close to making March Madness um which they did a couple years ago so at the end of the day ASU football what I'm GNA be looking forward to is how tough ASU plays against these teams right as you can see here we're taking on Wyoming tomorrow we got uh Mississippi State and then we got Texas State Texas Tech the Kansas j-hawks who were ranked 22nd coming into this season good old Utah who is ranked 12 uh Cincinnati the Bearcats Oklahoma state who's ranked 17th uh UCF Kansas state who's ranked 18th BYU and then of course we end our season against the uh the other Arizona team the the fake Arizona team uh the frauds of College Arizona UA who's ranked 21st surprisingly so you know not a lot of tough opponents this and that but at the end of the day ASU is not really a tough opponent either so it's going to be interesting I can't wait um fortunately I won't be able to watch the game tomorrow because I'll be working but definitely gonna keep up with ASU football and see how it goes uh like I said I'm not expecting too much but now that they're in a new conference with new uh opponents you know it's kind of weird they're not really playing a California team anymore they're not playing uh USC this year UCLA they're not playing any of those teams anymore so uh the only team that they really keep on playing from the Pack 12 is uh obviously uh U OFA and they're still playing Utah as well so it's uh it's going to be probably a rough season but like I said like I just said about the Cardinals I'm gonna choose to suffer with these teams because that's what a fan does so but ASU football we'll see we'll see um so now we're going to move on to the basketball segment which we're going to briefly talk about there's still not a lot of basketball news I mean preseason doesn't start I think for what is it another two weeks so basketball preseason is somewhat right around the corner um so instead of talking about Suns news that I can't really find we're going to be talking about a Sun's prediction which is is what is the Phoenix Suns ceiling this season how far are the Suns going to go how many wins could they get to and do they have a shot at winning the title I ask myself that every season and they come back to bite me in the rear end so the Phoenix Suns entering this season on paper they have probably one of the best rosters but again we talk about on paper we talk about on paper when when we traded for rad Beal and we didn't do [ __ ] um same thing for KD we didn't do anything second round exits so on paper I don't pay attention to that anymore um so coming into this season the western conference is very tough um you know you got guys that are going to contend like the Nuggets uh the Timberwolves the Mavericks uh let's see who else the Grizzlies when they're healthy I think they'll be a sneaky team uh Lakers they're a guaranteed playing team at least um we'll see who else Clippers even though I feel like they're going to slightly fall off a little bit they'll they'll still you know probably make the playoffs and then um you got us I'm sure I'm forgetting a team uh oh OKC how could I forget the funer um OKC is on the rise as well so there's a lot of contenders in the in the Western Conference I mean we have teams that are on the rise as well like the Rockets the Spurs you know we have teams that are heading towards a rebuild like the Warriors so uh the kings are kind of an iffy team I'm not really so sure about Sacramento but we'll see so um the it's going to be a a tough task very tough task for the Suns as far as getting a good seating in the western conference with this brand new team with our brand new coaching staff I feel like Devin Booker goes through a new coaching staff every year like it's it's quite ridiculous so um you know my personal opinion on the Phoenix Suns as far as their ceiling goes this season I think that this team is going to get no higher than fifth seed I feel like fifth seed is their highest ceiling I to make a prediction the number one seed this season is going to be Oklahoma City again I think they'll get first seed again I just feel like they're such a great team and they're going to finally be somewhat experienced too so it's going to be interesting I think the nuggets are going to get second I think the timoll are going to get third and I think the Mavs are going to get fourth I hate talking about the Mavs freaking hate it um so those are my top four and then five I could see us in there and then six I can maybe see like I don't know flippers maybe or Lakers this and that but it I I'll say this the predictions I'm making it it's not a guarantee because for all we know the Suns could honestly be a playing team this season I mean they were one they were one game away from being a playing team last year and they barely made the six seed and then we end we end up getting swept by the Timberwolves which was embarrassing but um you know the ceiling for the Phoenix Suns this season assuming they get back in the postseason assuming they're healthy which they probably won't be because another Arizona team of a history of getting injured like always um yeah uh I could maybe see them making the second round again but in order for me to predict the sun's getting past the second round they gotta prove it okay matter of fact even the first round I mean we didn't get out of the first round last year hell we didn't even win a game in the first round last year um so this year Kevin Durant and Bradley Bal really got to prove it I know Deon Booker's gonna do his job I mean come on now but Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal they really got to step up uh not that Kevin Durant was bad last year it's just there were some games that KD just missed shots that he wouldn't miss like five years ago six years ago so it's looking like Kevin Durant is kind of getting on the father time side a little bit not by too much he's still very uh solid very serviceable he'll give you good game still but let's just hope he could keep that going uh this season because the Phoenix Suns window for a championship is closing I'd say we have two years Max with this current team that we have I'd say we have two years Max on a chance to win a championship before we enter another rebuild and we don't know what that rebuild could be we might even get rid rid of Booker for all we know we just we don't know Matt ishia has spent so much money on this team that it's too hard to predict where this team is going to be in these next five years so even though I'm not that old I feel like I'm getting older every day so I hope I could at least see that team win a title because that's the first team that I fell in love with so it'd be nice to see these next two years hopefully they uh they get it done you know and we have the talent to do it we have the team that can do it it's just we got to one it more than the other teams it is what it is so before we wrap up this episode we got one more topic to talk about and that is Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett telling people to stop sleeping on the Suns they're going to be tough this year uh now I I've always been a Kevin G Net fan I always like the way he he played the game of basketball the way he was a trash talker he just he was always a good a fun player to watch and he was always you know just a guy that could get it done so Kevin Garnett knows what he's talking about right but this take right here it it's just an opinion right it's his opinion the suns are going to be tough this year people need to stop sleeping on the Suns but what Kevin Garnett said that really threw me off and that was the point to where I stopped believing him and believing a word that he said was and and get this Kevin Garnett said that Bradley Beal could win MVP right like he said Bradley Beal could win MVP out of all the players in the league you got uh joic Giannis Booker Jaylen Brunson who I think is a dark horse um I'm forgetting a lot of people SGA um Luca so it's like hell even KD has a better chance it's like Kevin Garnett you had the audacity to say that Bradley be could win MVP the dude disappeared in the playoffs when we needed him the most and what he averaged like what was it 15 16 points last year and may I remind you he was injured a majority of the year so if he doesn't play what was it what is it 60 games 65 games if he misses 20 games which he missed like what 50 last year 40 if he misses that many games he can't win MVP so it's like dude it I mean he also said Devon Booker could MVP which he could but even Devin Booker's health is questionable a little bit too he always deals with a hamstring injury I mean it's sad that Kevin Durant was our most healthy player last year and ever since ruptured his Achilles Kevin Durant is not been as healthy as he used to be so it's kind of sad to think that KD was our most healthy player last year so you know uh just something to think about I mean it's it it's interesting that Kevin Garnett said that that Bradley Bill Quinn MVP when he's not even the best player on the team let alone the second best player on the team so as far as the ceiling goes for the Phoenix Suns like I said I could see the Suns getting uh I don't know somewhere around the 50 win mark maybe the fifth seed no higher than that like somewhere between 50 to 55 wins is what I'm expecting and fifth seed at best I'm not saying at least at best the fifth seed and then playing a tough team in the first round like the Mavs Timberwolves or nuggets I could see that happening we might even be first round exits again to be honest with you it's just this Suns team this Suns team has to prove to me that they're going to get it done all right because ever since we blew the two lead in the finals I've stopped being a homer I've stopped guaranteeing the Suns victories and I've said okay Phoenix Suns go out there and prove it go out there and prove that that you could get the job done that's how I've been these last few years and that's how I'm going to be for the rest of my life regarding any of my teams even the Diamondbacks who are red hot right now you want to win the World Series go out go out there and get the job done hey Cardinals you actually want to make the playoffs and shock the world out there and do it that's how I'm going to be with all my teams for the rest of my life I'm not going to be a homer or a flip-flopper or anything like that so that is what it is and guys that's going to be a wrap
