[Music] guys welcome back to the Vlog today we are at Fan week at the US Open it is August 19th and today's the first day of fan week I have my tennis ball and I have Naomi signature right over here I just left the Grand Slam stadium and I'm in between um practices so basically for fan week it's open to the public and anyone can come to watch the players play for free um and it's a great way to experience the US Open if you can't afford those crazy price tickets right now so I took the day off to come all the way out to Queens you can take the seven train all the way out here does take an hour from the city so I decided to save some time since I'm actually flying out to Maine tonight so I took an Uber the Uber was around $40 it can go up from there depending on sech pricing so big tip is to schedule in advance if you want to lock in a price but my goal for today is definitely trying their popular Gray Goose drinks and I also want to get as many signatur as possible on this tennis ball The Vibes here are so fun it's not super crowded yet it's a lot of families a lot of children I'm probably like the only one by myself here but I don't really care cuz I'm having so much fun so let's have a day at the US [Music] Open not normal to carry this ball around because I think I'm the only adult carrying this giant a ball around besides children but I think it's all about being your inner child and trying to get as many signatures as possible [Music] this little area because it's the only quiet area so I will give my a review of everything I've spent so far so the Uber from Brooklyn here was $40 I'm going to say I did an Uber share and it it was the cheaper one I got the famous honey Deuce drink this is the one with the little honey melons that are on the top that look like tennis balls and it's basically Gray Goose with cranberry juice and like a little bit of Sprite and it has all the different names of all the champions in there I don't know if you can see but they've gone smaller apparently the price is gone up $5 in the last year and you get to collect these cups you do get to keep the cup with the year of the US Open on it and I paid $23 for this it used to be $18 you can definitely get this drink cup for a different drink I think like the cheapest drink they offer is $19 and then when I was looking at the other bars a couple of the drinks for like1 18 19 as well and then I went to the fan shop and I got my giant tennis ball someone asked me if my tennis ball was $5 which I think is really cute like I don't remember the last time anything cost $5 um this was with a zero so it's $50 and I got the Nam signature in it like I said earlier I literally came at the very end of danil's um practice round to go get a signature from him and then I got humbly run over by a bunch of 5-year-olds so I did not get a signature even though I was like patiently waiting there for him to come out so no I did not get a signature but I am walking around the stadium to go to all the other little like Court matches to see if anyone wants to sign my ball someone told me that at the end of the game they had all of these signed and someone offered $11,000 for their ball which I feel like takes away from the entire experience like don't you want to like get the ball signed yourself I hear the Wimbleton ones are smaller than this I did notice that there's no actual date to the ball here they do sell pink ones but I feel like the yellow one is just more classic so I got the yellow ball it's really cute and it's giant I'm like walking around with it and yeah I have like probably two more hours here before I have to head out so got to find the signatures you have to get them signed like at the very end of their practice session so it's kind of hard like obviously you don't want to bother them in the of it and yeah I really like my ball I'll probably bring it next year if I come for fan week next year just to get it all signed out um and yes it was with tax and everything it was $50 which is a lot for a giant ball but I feel like it's really cute so this is my tennis ball and I highly suggest that you guys get one so fan week is going to be from the 19th all the way until Friday which I think is the 24th and then the actual US Open starts next week and someone was telling me just to get like access to the campus grounds it's $100 it's like $101 which is crazy cuz this is completely free you can just go on the fan page and download the barcode and then actual tickets start at probably around $300 after this so definitely come for fan week it's a great deal you just you can take the train if you want you don't have to take an Uber if you don't want to just because of time I did take an Uber because I need to get to my plight and I can't have any train issues but if you have all day to just come here which I was planning on doing then I would definitely take the train cuz it's only $2.70 they also have these little booths going around so they have the rose posi posy it's like a French brand I love their their moisturizer but they're giving out sunscreen they're 60 SP and the 50F obviously I got the 60 cuz we're trying to look like we're 21 forever so I got this one they also have what is it LA lavaro or whatever the espresso company and they're giving out free shots but they ran out of espresso until 3:00 and that's like literally when I'm leaving so I don't know um there's also a lot of food vendors here like I'm literally looking at an oyster vendor right now they also had a champagne Mo like Booth but each glass was $32 just to get the mug and starting out so that was a little out of my budget I'm not doing that but they have other food vendors here there's like Poke Balls you can get sandwiches burgers fries all that stuff I am not hungry yet I rather get another drink personally if I'm going to so that is my review so far of the US Open I really love it I highly recommend you to come for dress attire I am wearing this blue dress that I always Vlog in but I've gotone in a lot of compliments on it so far you can definitely wear a leisure in fact most people are wearing a Leisure here but I just want it to be cute so I'm wearing just sandals and a dress you'll see some girls wearing sundresses sneakers you'll see some people wearing polos shorts but most people are wearing a Leisure because it is America so dress however you want you don't have to dress up you don't have to dress down just be yourself and have a good time [Music]
