college football's trying to become the NFL and they're competing for billions of dollars in TV deals here's why so in 2021 the NFL signed an 11-year contract worth $110 billion through various TV networks like Fox CBS and Amazon making up 43% of all sports TV deals generated around $10 billion a season where college football makes around 35 billion even though the NFL is clearly ahead the NCA has taken a page out of Roger Goodell's Playbook I think we'll be playing 16 games internationally if you go 10 years out I I think we'll we'll try to get to eight or nine in the next cou for years so Goodell has talked a lot about growing the game outside of America which is why games are played in London and Germany every year but now college football's playing in Ireland 2 weeks before the NFL season even starts which means full attention from the Sports World and is also a great brand building opportunity for the schools that are represented therefore with nil playing a massive role the only way to keep up is exposure outside of America and TV deals forever increasing
