thought maybe I could get a pause say of anas Smith but I a really see too much of that dude tonight uh defensive side of the ball of course I'm like being that we've been seeing Isaiah Rogers catching a lot of starting reps in practice I'm like so they probably not going to be playing him if I saw what they did on offense I'm thinking maybe you know let's get some quenan Marshall quenan Marshall I keep doing that quenyan Mitchell at that bro like so quenyan Mitchell was the was one of the top dudes I wanted to see on the defensive side amongst other guys guys you know and we're going to get into that the other guys because right now I'm forgetting the other guys just like I for forgot the other guys before the game but kenyaan Mitchell of course was one of the big names that I wanted to see on the defensive side of the ball so we come out and who I get to see right off the bat well no it was Kenny it was Kenny game off top John Ross upsets me on the first drive like boom if he comes back to that first throw to him you know we getting a pass interference I honest like like dude like come on like you fighting for your football career and it's sometimes it's hard to equate those things mix those things up cuz you're you're fight you're fighting for this life but you also want to play smart so I get it it's like he was really trying to make a play on the ball but not in a smart way and like I'm I'm one of them dudes I'm I'm I'm all these guys corner like Ross uh who's the other dude Paris Campbell even homeboy uh and got God you know just because I like saying that and he's just he had a few chances to make plays on balls and he just didn't quite do it so that is what it is on that but then of course my guy cuz you know I'm the P bcfc PBC FC the president of the Brit Cy fan club y'all and of course first pass goes to Briton cvy he's out here he's looking sharp I just don't get the I don't get the narrative that he slow but that's clearly The Narrative I've quite on quenan Mitchell's bandwagon because I thought he would never be there where we were drafting so I was high on Nate Wiggins and Nate Wiggins was out here I mean he was grabbing and holding I think in the regular season that's going to be called for pass interference but regards to whom what you know what I'm saying cuvy First Catch and then the other dude I wanted to see Johnny Wilson gets his second catch not to mention Johnny Wilson is out here blocking like a maniac and I'm starting to understand where the coaching staff is going like I said the other day like he's going to he can he offers he offers a lot with the frame that he has that he could propose that he can impose on the defense there's a lot of things there's a lot of things that that dude could do so both of them catching the first catch and the second catch and it's like damn man I'm I'm the president of the BR cuy fan club but this guy Johnny Wilson is looking like a whole D the first play he's blocking for cuvy the next play he catches the ball the third play he blocks for cuvy again cuvy gets the next pass gets a first down and it's looking great right but then of course like I said before like I reiterated to prior to Ross you know he doesn't turn around face the ball and get the pass interference ah pass from canny pick it there's a lot to be said about him actually there's not too much to be said about him we we get into that later if we have time before this thing out right so now you got us getting the ball back oh no no before we get the ball back defensive side that's I'm looking I'm seeing I'm seeing Davis out there C is out there I'm seeing like I saw Isaiah Rogers and Ringo I'm like okay so Mitchell's not out there then the next play so they blew us up next play you got Kenyan Mitchell out there he's in the slot he gets burnt either he gets burned or it's misassignment something happens he's not quite there whatever the case may be now they in like red zone of Jes 30 yard line 20 yard line in that area it gets a third down boom your boy Kenyan Mitchell had a chance oh you know we as the Eagles the fan base we don't love this almost got his first blocking interception he cuts over the route and it's like oh yeah he's one of them ones it might seemed a little crazy before to him or something happened who knows what happened but then boom he steps up big third down and I believe like we didn't give up a third down conversion for like damn near a whole game if he did I didn't know it he ain't going to do the line I'm flying type of deal but I know at least for the old first half and into the little bit into the third quarter like we ain't give up no third down conversion so I'm liking what I'm seeing to a certain extent on defense there were about maybe three four Flash plays over the first two three possessions for them we got a feel we got a touchdown oh I'm I'm getting ahead of myself man just so much football is back we got to get I'm in preseason mode too y'all man please forgive me yak Jack with the maniac I didn't a ticket I hate the delay man we got to get way to like edit that or something we got to get some people for that so boom we got that um we get the ball back and one thing that I noticed like I said like my main takeaway from this game and other people may have other ones but will Shipley like I just had such an emphasis already like I I got bit little bit of a bias because like I've adopted him as like my guy just seeing the way he works his um his mind game his you know what I'm saying what he what he knows about the game similar to Briton cubby like he's a student of the game and like he does this damn thing run back on the defense I forgot to tell y that Jaylen Carter was out there with the starters right swats a pass down like I'm liking I'm liking what could be with the fangio defense so like I said once again we get the ball back and what I saw nonstop was that our boy will Shipley we going to find something for him will to Thrill Kill will will kill whatever you want to call it the man falls forward on every carry this something that's you know what I mean underestimated in the game those that know no i k YK if you know you know like dude falling forward in this game because it's a game Adventures y' feet whatever you want to call it like he falls forward that was amazing to see and he was just he was grinding so what he does I saw it's a beautiful thing to see we're driving down the field um I believe cubby got another another catch Johnny Wilson got another catch but it was feel like it was a whole bunch of will Shipley and then will Shipley we come back in the second quarter flip Fields uh Red Zone inside the 10 goal line offense roll out Shipley rolls out like what we've been heading in Camp the whole time rolls out completion to who what else will [ __ ] will kill kill will like let's flock and go liking what I'm seeing from that kid and like that that was one of my major takeaways from the night as I'm watching the game you know a little [ __ ] too much Jack with the maniac got to listen to what the announcers are saying right I know I'm not cuz at first dud it like the notes was stupid like I'm all over the place with him right what is going on but then there's other dudes that stood out you got um one thing that I saw that and this sh was like we saw a bubble screen I believe in the last Drive I was talking about and you know we hate bubble screens jet screens we sick if we get it out of here lowy almost feel like at a certain point we were running Nick and sani's offense and don't don't get it twisted um I'm I'm a Nick serani fan stand like I'm I'm I'm rocking with his side but we know his offense left a lot to be desired last season so now we're going to throw a little Pap r on it this year with Kell Moore which I did like what I saw from him um short passes passes getting out quick what I was seeing from pick it at least in those first two drives I don't know what happened after that like I guess maybe we decided to tone it down whatever the case may be but to see a bubble screen was a bit disheartening but also enriching in another extent because it was converted for a first down by our boy Brit cubby the moment missile let's [ __ ] go then um another thing from will Shipley Shipley he falls forward he's excellent in pass protection we saw him blow up a blitz knocked off the defender kept him off with Kenny picket big play after that um he also had a punt team tackle like this dude is out here doing his damn thing Ross redeemed himself I believe in the next drive also I think he had two catches on the next Drive oi enough on short intermittent routes which was like okay he got that in his back that's awesome we see him as as like a you know a go deep guy and what I'm seeing right now is that and actually like I've been saying this I'm so with it our wide receiver 3 being a wide receiver three by committee mixing it up with a little Johnny Wilson little Brent cubby throwing some Ross in there and Paris Campbell wasn't playing tonight so clear CLE he must be in the not the dog he's in the penthouse they trying to do it with that guy clearly or maybe he's engine I didn't know um tror and Dan also look good to me when they got that chance to get in there so if you plays and um correct me if I'm wrong leave it part is when we scored our touchdown oddly enough Jake the mate wasn't thr rap like it was was free season and we'll get to that towards the end TR and Dean was looking good to me looked okay nothing crazy but when they got their chance to shine they shine they was doing the thing they was making tackles they was doing they were supposed to do um like I said once again no third down conversion in the first half KY Ringo was on the plus side of things like I said that's when the Jack was was like what are they all WR did I missed something like I said Nate Wiggins was going crazy then I saw we had a lot of pbus too so I guess those were alloted to KY Ringo he was doing his thing out there I saw Isaiah Rogers I couldn't sayah Rogers got burnt but they was playing that off coverage it was like that Ben Don't Break Stuff felt like we was back in the Schwarz era back in the Ganon era and all that and I believe you know they I believe they're still no not someone Schwarz but definitely Ganon are Disciples of fio so we're going to see a lot of that but I did also see a lot of pressure out there shockingly enough maybe trying some things you know what I mean it was weird to not see I believe they sent quinan on a cornerback Blitz that didn't get home so that's something to be worked on but you know rookie new stuff and next up is Tanana mcke watching Kenny pick it had me like like too many too many too many checkdowns like dog like do you what do you fight what we are and I get it in the preseason you know what I'm saying we trying to fine-tune everything you know what I'm saying do it right don't do nothing crazy I saw that on the Baltimore side also like and that's why I credit them to winning so many preseason games because they don't do nothing dumb in the preseason they're trying to tighten everything up because this how we play now is how we're going to play then I guess some teams want to try things and don't really put too much emphas assist on the preseason but we know that Baltimore does all the time and it seemed like we were kind of adopting that philosophy tonight at least in the extent of Kenny picking I don't know if it was his decisionmaking or was a coaching decision where they're telling him like yo chill try not you know be responsible with the ball too many check Downs on third Downs like if you need if you need 10 yards why you throwing at seven you need 17 why you throwing it seven like what are we doing here it was a bit weird sometimes but that one draft was definitely amazing where he h Shipley for the touchdown maybe he didn't just quite have the same type of skill players in there with him later in the game that he did earlier I don't know but he left a lot to be desired basically leaving us to desire want Paul's Tana M to get in there and do something and then t mck comes in here and does what he does he does something there were a few things that he didn't look like he did last year yeah told y' this thing about to be Dean Tanner mcke then Nolan Smith was on fire albeit once again it's preseason and he's going against threes probably at that point in the game but he was all over the place he was flying all over the himself but in years prior he was one to play the run but wasn't getting credit for playing the Run quite the way he did God some what saw one play with noan Smith he's breaking down he breaks down on miscommunication in the snap not getting enough push but we got them all and I that's a credit to I heard the announcers saying tonight like you didn't think that the Eagles would have death on offensive line but the Run game was Stout no pun intant but definitely was and like just just look like it's part for the course I believe after one series they were beting out like we saw we had to see um I believe it was Big Fred Johnson who got a false thought oh we hate those but he was out there putting in work also like it just looks like it's an offensive line factory it's a football field goal straight down the pipes and hopefully think everything is right in Jake the make world because it was a little shaky I ain't seen him look like that in a few years and let's just get this and I try p p what he says about these coaches in there but you know it's a thing out there something and so I got to speak to it so him being out there him at his halftime talk whatever he has with
