after Superman kills Hercules Apollo fires a

one just as he seems to be gaining the upper hand a lightning bolt strikes him reverting
him back to a kid Zeus arrives and reveals that the only reason Billy had his powers was
because Zeus allowed it stripped of his powers Billy watches as Zeus demands that Superman step
down from his false Throne Harley Quinn tries to intervene but is killed instantly by Zeus Diana
desperate to find another way pleads with her father to reconsider Zeus however dismisses her
commanding her to take her place among the gods and warns that he refuses to bury two children
in one day with no other options Superman orders the remaining Justice League members to retreat
telling them that the fight isn't over and they will strike again when the time is right permes
later announces on the news that Superman's Reign on Earth is over now and Zeus has reclaimed
his rightful place in the aftermath we see Superman making a secret deal with Aries the
God of War hinting at a dark Alliance to come
