[Applause] Alex Sydney Australia had to be super proud today um I'm sure it's not easy to put friendship aside but it's a hazard of the job you had to do it over 10 years of friendship how was that one for you yeah look uh I've got so much respect for for tomo we've grown up together he's uh been like a big brother to me so I I really appreciate everything he's done for me and he's a hell of a competitor my Davis Cup team mate and you know I can't wait to share the cord uh many many times with him we've already talked about the fact that you are the first Aussie to reach the fourth round of all four grand slams in a calendar year in 20 years that's hard enough to say almost impossible to do but now your third straight Grand Slam quarterfinal talk again about the consistency of your tennis right now yeah look uh it's just the mentality I mean uh positive mindset no matter what try to play every Point try to win every point and yeah just as always uh compete my heart out so I try to do my best for you guys thanks for those who stayed and you know um and look hopefully I'll see you guys for the next round uh speaking of the next round um you face Jack Draper which unfortunately for him means he faces you and you've won all three of your encounters I'm sure you won't take that lightly but is there a slight smirk of confidence at all for you look uh we've never played in a grand stand best of five so it's a complete different ball gameer he's been playing some great tennis all year round so I'm expecting a battle he's very tricky uh I'm going to do my best uh I'm going to compete my heart out and and we'll see what happens a last thing for us I mean it is again thrilling to see you healthy and enjoying being on court what does a healthy Alex deor dream about what's on your vision board do you measure success by your ranking by how many titles you win by how much joy you're experiencing how do you measure success for you as a tennis player look I'm doing my best cuz uh in the past almost my happiness depended on on my results and I I'm I'm trying to do my best to to trust the progress uh trust the just the the journey right I'm I'm doing my best I'm trying to get better I'm trying to find happiness outside of of just wins and losses and it's helped me so far so but I'm sure it's a lot happier when I win tennis match is well thanks for taking us along on this journey Alex deor everyone
