Jelly Roll Surprises Kids Working Lemonade Stand with $700

[Music] jelly roll just kicked off the Beautifully Broken tour and he's releasing his new album of the same name on October 11th and the tour recently rolled through Salt Lake City Utah and jelly roll gave this family a great memory they'll never forget this isn't the first time jelly roll made headlines for a good deed back in June fans waited hours for a free Jelly Roll Show at the Sky Deck in downtown Nashville after standing in line for 5 hours a fan named Joy went into the venue during the show she wrote a message on her phone screen and held it up hoping jelly roll would see it she wrote please pay my tuition and much to her surprise jelly roll saw her message after the first song of the show and he addressed her in the crowd here's what he [Applause] said we will help you get through school get or somebody we need somebody for real with that's real thing [Music] that's I tell you what I don't have nobody to pay for my col so I didn't [Applause] go Joy shared her reaction in an interview with local news WKRN she said I took like a black picture on my phone and then wrote please pay my tuition and just held it up she said I was crying I was stressing I took a moment to breathe and pray and I knew everything was going to be okay I knew that God was going to take care of everything and in November of last year jelly roll announced plans to hold the largest toy drive in Nashville history and he succeeded the drive reportedly provided Christmas gifts for a whopping 8,000 children Davidson County Sheriff Darren Hall publicly praised jelly roll he said I met jelly roll over a year ago at the facility he was once housed before CMA Grammy Awards and much his success said he wanted to give back today a truck loaded with toys showed up at the last minute toy store you are changing music and lives thank you and now in a post on social media Sunday a parent shared an amazing story of how her daughter wanted to set up a lemonade stand with her cousins but they never could have imagined what happened next she wrote so today was an interesting day my kid and her cousins wanted to do a lemonade stand and they had a famous singer come and buy some lemonade who would have thought we would run into jelly roll in West Valley and for him to be so generous with giving them almost $700 the post quickly went viral online and is just another example of jelly roll's generosity the Beautifully Broken tour just kicked off and the tour dates are up on your screen that new album will release on October 10th that's your latest update from country cast be sure to subscribe with notifications on for the latest news and updates
