finally did it I finally bought a camera we have a meet coming up in about 2 weeks that's just going to be to qualify for University Nationals which is at the Arnold be hitting snatch singles today it's either five or six singles some deadlifts after all right let's go W hello bro she's so excited yeah I'm so excited to do a panda pole a jumping jack Panda pole plus power snack and you're probably to do it bad and exactly that's the problem here's the gym I have three online classes if I get up at 6:00 tomorrow once we're at the gym we all warm up as a team on the turf followed by Plyometrics to really get that nervous system going ready for heavy [Music] weights watch better than you no [Music] no reporting live from Tuesday um this is a boring day they play some more I literally was just about to do [Music] [Music] [Applause] that [Music] what's going on it's my last day weightlifting you're quitting I'm retiring today bad [Music] session [Applause] [Music] I'm going to use this 90 snatch here to show an example of something I think is really important so after this rep both my coaches mentioned that they thought it was slow after the knee and I wasn't accelerating as much through it so instead of just going up cuz I made it I decid to hit it again to really perfect that movement and honestly I didn't really correct it there so just decided to take another one I'm trying to chase the feeling instead of just chasing numbers that one I was able to get it so it's time to go up so instead of mindlessly going through your warm-up and getting to your top set and then finally choosing to focus on something technical be working on it the entire way up so you really know what's happening with your body that day another thing you'll notice about these snatches is I could have easily gone heavier the problem with that is if you're always going up always pushing the limits you're never actually working on anything technical so you see that rep I caught it on my heels I need to keep perfecting that I need more consistency at 100 building that consistency at the medium heavy percentages is a huge key for actually hitting heavier weights my coach told me to think of it this way if you've ever gardened or grown plants you bury the seed and you wait for it to grow what's not going to happen is if you check it over and over and over again you keep digging it up to see what it's doing see what it's doing see if it sprouted yet it's never going to have any time to actually grow in weightlifting it's the same way if you're constantly pushing the limit seeing where you're at trying to hit a new PR you're never going to actually be working on those things that are going to help you hit the new [Music] PR my [Music] NE [Music] [Applause] [Music] should [Music] behind your head your [Music] eyes
