you know I went under and I had them removed and at 27 Christina Applegate is getting candid about plastic surgery the Married with Children Alum has been vulnerable about her health struggles since sharing her multiple sclerosis diagnosis in 2021 and now she's opening up about past cosmetic work revealing during the July 30th episode of her podcast messy with Christina Applegate and jam ly Sigler the physical change she felt pressured to make make at a young age at 27 years old I was on a show and the one of The Producers very famous people who did a very famous show as well said hey we're having trouble lighting under your eyes your bags under your eyes are so big and now that's a hereditary thing and he goes I suggest you get them removed and you know what I did you got him removed at 27 years old I had the the only plastic surgery I've ever had was to remove the bags under my eyes and you know at first I was like oh my God this like the first time I'd seen myself without bags under my eyes because it is like it's like my dad has got like Louis Vuitton luggage under his eyes you know it's it's very much a hereditary thing and but you know I went under and I had them removed and at 27 the anger man star then vents her frustration about still feeling judged for her looks in Hollywood at the age of 52 you know that's the thing about aging in in aging period and how women feel about aging but Aging in this business it's like they throw you out to Pastor you know unless you're ready to play grandmothers you know being in that middle age of well middle age but you know that age of where you can't be the mother but you can't be the grandmother so you're like you're the weird aunt Christina reveals that she's even tried to get other procedures done hoping it would improve her career and it just made me start thinking cuz you know of course I've thought about doing plastic surgery and I of course I've thought about it I went to a plastic surgeon to get a threadlift and I'm going to be really honest about it this was a couple years ago and he goes I can't cuz your face is too fat so told me that so couldn't get that done yeah that one I mean that one hurt too but I also respect the Doctor Who's like I'm not taking your money if it's not going to work and this isn't the first time Christina has addressed scrutiny surrounding her looks clapping back at an online critic in a post on ex last year who accused her of getting work done on her face alongside a screenshot of the nasty comment Christina wrote so I made the unfortunate decision to look at some comments on an article from people mag about me and my kids at the CCA of course I told her that it wasn't nice this was her reply what is wrong with people by the way I laughed [Music]
