Commanders are Re-Signing WR Byron Pringle

yo what's up guys this is King Sean here and we have some news this morning it was reported by Ian rerp first the commanders have resigned veteran wide receiver Byron Pringle per his agents he was with them last year and the Bears and Chiefs before that so he was with this last year uh we signed him I think we signed him just before the preseason began uh I want to assume we signed him because you know Eric benamy was our offensive coordinator at the time and he had a connection with Byron Pringle so we decided to bring him in and he made the roster last season and he actually made a couple nice plays last year I remember he had a couple catches against the Patriots one of them was like a 26 yard catch how through across the field across his body and Byron Pringle sprinted up the field for um a good game I remember that and he had a couple nice catches um in that game as well and throughout the season so he was a pretty solid death piece at wide receiver last year he made some nice plays in the preseason I remember he had this one catch against the Browns over a Defender jacobe Brett threw it it was a really nice catch though we made some good plays last year now this is a very interesting signing I did not expect this to sign a wide receiver we already have a ton of wide receivers on the roster I mean we have uh um besides ter mclen Johan Dawson Luke mcaffrey we have dami brown ol zakus Jameson Crowder casir Allen Marcus rosemy Jack Dax Mill Bryson Tain Davon Davis I mean we have a ton of guys at wide receiver so I didn't expect this to bring another wide receiver in but we did now I think we did this if if I had to guess we did this because of the new kickoff rule obviously you know the NFL um changed the kickoff and there's a new rule it's a new format um it's totally different so and you know Byron Pringle he um returned kicks for the Bears and the Chiefs I'm pretty sure I don't think he returned kicks for the bears but I'm pretty sure he did with for with the Chiefs he returned kicks and punts and provided some explosiveness for the Chiefs so we might have brought him in to try out at kick returner or punt returner probably kick returner because I know Dan Quinn said in one of his press conferences a couple of day that they feel more confident in the pun return game rather than the kick return game and they're still trying out guys at kick returner so I feel like they they're going to give Bon Pringle a shot at kick returner and see what he does during training camp and preseason um I feel like maybe James and Crowder or Casmir Allen is probably winning the race at kick returner so but maybe they just haven't decided yet they're just not too confident in those guys so they brought in Byron Pringle to see if he has another element in the kick returning game we shall see but we brought back Byron Pringle and yeah he made some nice plays last year didn't do too much but like I said he was just a solid de wide receiver um I feel like the three guys we know for sure or I'll even say four because ol zias he's been balling out on training camp so far he made a couple nice plays yesterday I know jayen Daniels had a deep ball on the right sideline to him which was uh really nice I saw that highlight the team posted it on their page so that was really nice I feel like Ola mid zakus Luke mcaffrey Jan Dawson and Terry McClaren are locked to make the roster and then it's just up to the other two you know receiving spots those two spots are open right now you know anybody can make it dami brown Byron Pringle who we just signed Jameson Crowder casir Allen anybody can get those two spots so it's going to be a real competition um for those two spots in training camp and preseason so we'll see what happens with those two spots but but I do not mind you know us resigning Byron Pringle because he was like I said pretty solid last season as a de wide receiver and he could provide some explosiveness at kick returner so that is it for today's video hope you guys enjoyed if you did leave a like down below subscribe to Notifications just wanted to update you guys on our new signing on the road to 4K Subs so if you could hit that sub button I'd really appreciate it and other than that it's been King Sean and I'm out peace
