[Music] this year's wear a purple day theme is your passion your pride when I wear purple I'm saying I see you I support you and I celebrate you being an ally is really important it's about standing up speaking out and educating yourself and others about the importance of inclusion one small step can go a really long way wearing purple isn't just about a color it's about solidarity it's about creating safey spaces where everyone feels seen especially our lgbtqa plus youth purple shirt check purple fan check let's show our true colors when you wear purple you're sending a message you belong here and that matters I wear purple because for me it's important to show my two boys that visible support makes a real difference in the lives of many I wear purple because symbols matter as an outwardly gave female senior leader within the organization it's important to show support if you can't see it you can't be it I wear purple because I want to inspire young trans people to embrace how they feel I wear purple in support of my uh workmates so they can bring their whole self to work free of discrimination and bias I wear purple because I think everyone deserves a place in the world and I want you to know that the reason I wear purple on SES at energy Australia is that if anybody needs to find an ally they can find me easily I wear purple because I believe everybody should be able to bring their whole selves to work no matter where they are I want to create an environment where my son as he gets older can be his authentic self I wear purple because I don't want the Youth of today to experience what I did Growing Up across energy Australia from Power stations to meeting rooms let's make every day a wear a purple day with passion and pride because together we're stronger wear a purple day be proud be purple [Music]
