look Simba everything the light touches is our kingdom wow a king's time as ruler Rises and Falls like the sun one day Simba the sun will set on my time here and will rise with you as the new king and this will all be mine everything everything the light touches but I thought a king can do whatever he wants oh this m being King and getting you way all the time there's more Simba everything you see exists together in a delicate balance as king you need to understand that balance and respect all the creatures from The Crawling ant to the leaping antalope but Dad don't we eat the antalope yes Simba but let me explain when we die our bodies become the grass and the antelope eat the grass and so we are all connected in the great circle of life that speech from muasa to Simba is one of the most iconic and most important and most captivating speeches in all of movie history whether it be animated or not it's one of the most most gripping and most important speeches ever and it would would not have hit home without the voice of James L Jones as muasa and the funny thing is that I actually saw The Lion King before I actually saw Star Wars because it wasn't until like a almost almost two years after after I saw The Lion King that I first saw Star Wars and when I saw Darth Vader I was like but this sounds exact this guy SS exactly like like um like Simba's father and it w and you know it didn't click to me at the time what but after some years I found out what it was still amazing amazing to know that a person's voice could have that much impact let look into the life this person has has lived a rich life all of that any loss is something that always hurts the Legacy that this person leaves behind is always going to be always going to be ionic always going to last forever on Monday James ear jones the voice of Mufasa and Darth Vader died he was 93 and yes 93 is a hell of an accomplishment a uh he's lived a full life Rich enjoyable but it still hurts it still hurts and it doesn't matter how older you get how much you sat that they get C things it doesn't it always will be there we have lost people who have been so iconic to us over the years and even those villain of Star Wars to know that he became the voice of muasa and that's the thing James L Jules has starred in a lot of movies but his voice for Mufasa and and Dara is what really made this man so iconic it really did and no matter what that will always always be there to guide us as result because like I said at the beginning of this that speech that he gave to DEC so iconic James L Jones a commanding presence on screen who nonetheless gained greater Fame off camera as the synonomous voice of Star Wars villain Darth Vader and Mufasa the benevolent leader in The Lion King died Monday he people as they talk about the little kids and stuff from um 1994 is The Lion King even till this day even till this day The Lion King to me is still a classic in that animated form I never watched the the the Remake that they the kind of you know live action realistic and they did no interest in it for me 1994's Lion King that is the movie that is the way it's done muasa is Mufasa because he was voiced by James L Jones that is what that is what that is what done I mean even when you look at his his work he's done over the years he said he's been a lot of movies and one of the main movies that I remember him for Is Coming To America with um with Eddie Murphy where he played where he played the king another once again fantastic the man's voice is commanding presence everything just screams this is James L Jones and he has arrived here because of this as I close up I just want to take a look here and I want to take a moment to see how um grateful I am Guardian here has put together James forgot that yes he played um f Doom yes he was he was that in Kanan movie as well in kand the Barbarian again commanding because his voice resonates so well these are the things that happened with it fences in 1987 yet Coming to America in 1988 and he played the where he played the king M um I se you Hall Eddie Murphy madon CLA Field of Dreams in 1989 The Hunt for Red October in 1990 y I remember that movie Heatwave in 1990 as well Gabriel's fire 1990 the 1991 uh this is this was this was good during his opening remarks at the 43rd annual Emy Awards in Pasadena California on 25th August 1991 James L Jones parodied his own booming dramatic voice in his speech about the gifted pveers of comedy and then gamely took a cream pie in the face that was that was something always want for a laugh that was something what James Jud always won for a laugh here and then later that night he got two Awards to heia James L Jones receives National medal of the Arts from President George Bush yeah that was in 1992 and then in 1994 The Lion King voice of Mufasa Simba's dad cried the Beloved Country in 1995 summers's end in 1999 and yeah he surrounded by some kids at a library there James L J to the second wife Cecilia Hart and his son Flyn Jones Driving Miss Daisy 2011 he got this is where this is where he got his um his honorary Oscar much ad do about nothing in 2013 Rogue one a Star Wars story he reprised the voice of of Darth Vader for rogue one I mean I mean and you know Rog is one of the the best stories that come out of Star Wars was lately and most people don't think about but it
