2024 Fantasy Football Mock Draft | 10-Team PPR - 4th Pick

what's going on everyone welcome back today we've got another live fantasy football mock draft for you back on Yahoo with a 10 team half PPR mock where we will be selecting fourth overall should be it the Draft is officially underway I imagine we're going to see Christian mcaffrey here selected first overall and just like that he is the selection now we are picking fourth overall so I'm looking at some of the upper echelon running backs that hopefully will be left and Bree Hall and bejan Robinson hopefully one if not both will be there um and in fact that will be the case because CD lamb was just selected so that guarantees that one of those guys will be there uh Bree Hall was selected third overall I was hoping um you know frankly that he would be my selection um at that fourth overall pick but you know we're going to go with bejan Robinson I think he is a very close second to uh Bree Hall 1 a 1B type of situation so we're going with bejon Robinson here I want to get my anchor at the running back position and then we're going to see what happens in regards to wide receivers running backs um that are still left over in the second round now I think that there's probably a good chance we're going to be looking at the likes of let's do some scrolling here you know probably this group of wide receivers like Marvin Harrison uh Devonte Adams Mike Evans Drake London Chris olve uh Kiren Williams Pacho also could be ing if we wanted to go with the second running back but yeah let's take it one pick at a time and let's go back to the big board so the first four picks three out of the first four were running backs um it was mcaffry CID L Bree Hall then beon now that running wide receivers like you would expect since there there's a tear drop at the running back position so it's Tyreek it's Jamar it's Aman R it's Justin Jefferson it's Garrett Wilson I imagine AJ Brown will be showing up here uh shortly and wouldn't you know it he is the 110 now this is where going to where we're going to start to see that other group of running backs with JT jir Gibbs and saquan Barkley and that's exactly what you see here in the second round with JT Gibbs uh pukan AA goes before Barkley but then saquan Barkley goes immediately afterwards at the 204 so now there's two picks until we get to make another selection uh Kiren Williams just went I was hoping he'd be there for us that doesn't happen um maybe PCO like we were saying uh I am a drake London fan I already do have bejan so that's a little bit heavy on the Atlanta offense but you know if we get him available to us in the third round that doesn't look too too bad so that'll be something to think about Marvin Harrison um Derrick Henry just went so Marvin Harrison is also a choice but um I'm going to look Elsewhere for the W for the wide receiver position I feel like I just did a mock draft where I started funny enough with Marvin Harrison and bejan Robinson so for the sake of switching it up a little bit let's go with Pacho here at the running back uh position there you go and then we'll see what we have left available to us in the third round so we went Pacho over guys like etn hn Jacobs Mixon Rashad white James Cook just to give you guys a refresher there I I mean honestly I think after the group of like you know Kiren Williams and Barkley it's uh it's another pretty significant tier drop here with the running backs so um those guys are pretty close together uh huge run on running backs here continues with Travis eten being selected so 1 two 3 four five straight running backs in a row Then There Goes Marvin Harrison with a second to last pick um in the second round now here I mean Drake London and Chris olve become really really good values for this Christian mcaffrey team oh no but he goes aan and Cooper cup so we might get either olve or Drake London fall to us and there's also a really high chance that both of them uh are scooped up in that exact order here I would not be shocked um let's see Devonte Adams Mike Evans are ranked technically ahead of them so maybe that increases our chance yeah Mike Evans go so we're going to have our choice of at least London or Chris olve so I do like that and I will tell you if London and ol are there I will go London I don't care that I already have Brian Robinson I'm a firm believer in the Drake London breakout and you know it's it's not even um a question of if it's a question of well nothing else because Chris ol was selected right before us so I'm going Drake London here uh I believe in this Atlanta offense getting the major upgrade at the quarterback position with Kirk Cousins I feel like London has fewer question marks than somebody like a Devonte Adams so for that reason yes I've got bejan yes I've got Drake London but you know I believe in both of them you know we've seen previous years with high-powered offenses where you invest in both the running back and a wide receiver where it pays off I mean think back to guys like uh Aaron Jones and Devonte Adams on the Packers when Rogers was still slinging it for them think about uh Alan chra and Michael Thomas uh a few years ago when Michael Thomas could stay on the field so uh there definitely are examples of that so I'm not super super worried and I do think the Falcons will be a much improved offense this year hell I mean even Justin Jefferson and dvin cook from years prior so um yeah I think we are are going to be just fine and I like the value of Drake London that point after London it was Devonte Adams Then Josh Jacobs Brenan auk Travis Kelce Debo so now we're getting to another position where I expect there to be a big running back run because I think the value is there looking at their running backs um just to pull them up and you know there's going to be another uh drop in tiers here shortly so Mixon Rashad white James Cook Kenneth Walker chimra like up until this point I expect I expect that run to begin shortly if one of those guys is available to us in the what would it be fourth round then I'd say that's pretty good value so that maybe already shows our hands in regards to what we want to do um but you know you never know maybe we'll see something really good at wide receiver as well Nico Collins rounds out the third round and here in the fourth round I'm curious to see how this thing is going to shape up uh this will be an auto pick it looks like so tight end Sam laporta okay oh there goes Jaylen Wadd I was really hoping for Jaylen Wadd uh if we decided to go wide receiver DK metf all right I'm going to have my choice at some of those running backs here it looks like huh interesting I could also go DJ Moore if I really wanted to or Michael Pitman yeah DJ Moore will be interesting um with Caleb Williams under Center so maybe he probably yeah he doesn't make it back to us so Michael Pitman is still there let's look at these wide receivers are still on the board Michael Pitman Devon Smith Malik neighbors Pickins Diggs huh I think I'm going to go with Michael Pitman here and then let's see what happens with the running backs let's see if those running backs start to go off the board there's some more Auto picks um but yeah I'm trying to be a little bit more balanced so we went two running backs two wide receivers out afterwards and again it's a 10 Team league so teams will be top heavier and we might get lucky and we might still get one of those running backs that I mentioned because let's take a look we have to wait six picks until our turn but there's one two three four or five running backs that'd be okay with so not the end of the world here I think we're in okay position unless these next picks are all running backs in a row so yeah the next pick was Devon Smith okay I'm fine with that we're going to see some Auto picks here um which means that this could be a Lamar Jackson or a Patrick Mahomes selection yeah there goes Lamar Jackson so we will get one of those running backs Malik neighbors yep we are guaranteed to get one of those running backs that I like uh Rashad white goes this shouldn't be Patrick Mahomes I will say Patrick Mahomes will be tempting in the fifth round to potentially pair him up with Pacho if he's there let's see I I doubt he makes it back to us but um it is a possibility this person won't be selecting a quarterback this person might here right before us if they do fine good on them um but yeah that's that's also something to consider here I do like Patrick Mahomes Joe Mixon just went oh this is an auto pick it's going to be Patrick Mahomes actually yeah for sure I didn't realize it was an auto pick all right so let's already start looking elsewhere probably James Cook here probably going to be James Cook the other running backs that are still on the board Yak him chimra chimra not bad um I think also a very solid option he's back at practice he had a back injury so nothing too serious so yeah let's let's continue to add a running back this is going to be Patrick oh yeah this is going to be Patrick Mahomes like I said so there goes Mahomes all right well welcome to the squad James Cook and then maybe in this next round we can get our tight end Anthony Richardson just went so I like how this is building out yeah would I preferred if we got Patrick Mahomes here in the fifth round maybe Cons considering it would have been a really good value at that point in time um but I'm also not mad at James Cook getting our third running back so I think this is going well so far we took a gamble of Patrick momes would be there I think if utopic wasn't uh present at that point in time then you know we could have uh we could have potentially landed him so it happens now looking at some of these other selections they went pretty quickly because there's more uh picks on auto since then after James Cook Anthony Richardson James Connor Kenneth Walker Amari Cooper oh Trey McBride just went was hoping that he could maybe fall to us that doesn't happen so I guess we'll be looking at the likes of Mark Andrews or doin Cade so after McBride it was Stefan Diggs then Kyler Murray whoa early on Murray there with the first pick in the sixth round let me double check but I think guys like CJ strout are still available yeah Joe burrow so I think that's a little bit early Alvin chra goes CJ strad goes good value on chimra I would say so we got to wait three more selections do these guys have tight end they picking before me are they on auto pick yeah Auto pick might screw us here with d concade not being an option I will say that so let's see where where DT con Kade ranks George KD Aaron Jones Okay dalon con Kade is my guy here I don't want to go too too heavy on the Falcons I've already got London and Brian Robinson I realize have James Cook but I think concade is by far away the best tight end available I'm going concade here easy selection for me and then I'm going to start adding some other potentially um well not running backs but wide receivers I think here is a good good opportunity to look at some of these names George Pickins Terry mclen uh Rashid rice Christian Kirk yeah I think T we did pass up on T Higgins which hurts a little bit but you know it is what it is quarterbacks burrow still there I don't necessarily have anybody to pair him up with as far as Stacks are concerned so I'm not going to force it yeah run on tight end so glad I grabbed concade when I did wide receiver I think I'm going to go with either mclen or Christian Kirk let's go with uh I'm a Believer in both let's go with Terry McClaren he's got the quarterback up upgrade as well and there's going to be I think a quick run on some players here we can maybe make two more selections and wrap this thing up because again with auto pick I wouldn't be surprised if we start to see some kickers and defenses go which I mean that's not the point of the of the mock draft right um we we want to see these core players uh yeah and there you see the the run on the uh on the defense is I want to keep this as realistic as possible DeAndre Swifts white Naji Harris the last couple of picks in the seventh so I mean there's a world here where we can get Christian Kirk again still which is pretty Bonkers George Pickins just went okay so we're we're only a couple players away from Landing Christian Kirk if if he's still there I might also pull the trigger on Joe bur I think uh that he becomes a good value yeah we're on the clock we need we need a quarterback so let's go with Joel burrow yeah um I think that is a good selection we fill out our roster our starting roster I I know people are going to talk about all the week 12 buys that doesn't worry me look it's one week what you do in in the draft process is you go best player available it's it's the season doesn't consist of one week it's a you know uh it's a collection of weeks so just trust me on that one we wi Joe burrow uh rley can't and yeah okay this is a good time to wrap this thing up uh let's go with Christian Kirk we're going to scoop him up and our roster is pretty much complete I don't want to again drag this on too long kickers defenses things like that I like how this thing turned out I like our running back depth bejan Pacho James Cook wide receiver we got London Pitman um we got mclen Christian Kirk on our bench two really solid bench pieces we got can a high upper Echelon uh tight end and then we were patient with quarterback we got Joe bro so I really like the squad let me know
