Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist E4 Recap and Review

okay Fight Night the million dollar Heist episode 4 just dropped on peacock today had a chance to watch it and I enjoyed it the show's doing a terrific job so far it's got all those elements of a of a great Heist um flick that we saw in other films like Oceans 11 and almost to the point of a cliche but done in a well way where they rebuild uh you know the way the heist was done but we've moved on with episode 4 to the next phase of uh of the story and that really is uh the Fallout of the robbery that we saw at chicken man's party uh in in honor of Frank uh after the Muhammad Ali fight where everything just went wrong and everybody got robbed when we tun into episode 4 the robbers are sort of U are counting up all the the loot uh it's close to a million dollars which back then was you know a fortune uh that compared it to robbing a casino now uh so the robbers are are maybe sitting in the loot until they can get it all sorted out and um what we saw uh for the cops was the uh The Fallout from there as well uh they were still at the the house uh of course there was the dead body from the robber there uh later on they would find uh Lena the girl who the inside woman um as Frank addressed before he uh executed her in the last episode and they're trying to figure out what happened as well Hudson's under a lot of uh of pressure from his police chief who just you know 12 hours ago was happy that the Ali fight went so well well now he's under pressure again because this robbery is taking credit away from uh or taking all the Goodwill away from the uh the successful protection of Muhammad Ali and uh the successful fight for the City of Atlanta so Hudson's feeling under pressure too and I I did a Tik Tok if you're not following me on Tik Tok Mr Frank Torres on how chicken man has put everybody he cares about uh in a bad position um because of this botched uh party because of his unwillingness to uh to to to walk the the straight narrow follow the law and we see Viv still bleeding from her fight with Lena from the last episode um chicken man has to take her to his house to meet Fay's wife and that was kind of my favorite part of the episode was the dynamic between Fay and Viv over Chicken Man uh I'll get back to that but um or I'll get back to chicken man putting his people into danger but those exchanges between F Viv um were very well acted uh Taj P Henson of course is uh just terrific um but then we start to see Frankie thugs or Frank's thugs show up their door and Fay this kind Church woman gets these starts getting out these guns because she hunted when she was a kid they're her father's guns she's loading them up and she goes to the door to confront these gangsters by herself and she's joined by Viv at the door it was my favorite part of the episode just the way it was done it was just uh really uh really really terrific um and there was no foregone conclusion either uh that's how well that's how complicated the character is as well as uh with everything that's been going on but anyways that's just one example of chicken man putting uh his loved ones in danger Fay decides she has to take the kids we'll get uh and and Chicken Man ultimately stops him before she can leave but Silky Chicken man's poor friend after chicken man tracks down Tom uh one of the actual robbers um to a party it's not a wake for Lena but a gathering where they're just sort of taking in uh the death of uh of young alinaa um Chicken Man calls Frank and tells them that hey I've got one of the robbers um come and get him well Hudson shows up to the party because he's also put together that town was part of the robbery and they have to take time away from the party to the police station to get questioned well Frank goes over there Tom's not there and silky has to pay the price for chicken man and my goodness you know Sil was kind of uh chicken man's only friend in the story so far U besides Viv and his family and just to see him go out like that was is really really unfortunate and um I actually kind of started getting frustrated with chicken man um after sil's death and after the position he put uh his family in uh as well as um you could kind of blame him for Tom you'll recall uh one of the many Cliffhangers of the show is uh when Hudson goes into the interrogation room and Thomas tried to hang himself out of grief from uh the death of his sister um and out of everything else that's going on he probably figures he's a dead man anyways even if he gets uh escapes the uh the the charges he's going to get killed by Frank anyways so you know I I mean it was just a a really it was a hard episode to be a chicken man fan let's go over the Cliffhangers real fast that shootout before U Hudson discovered Tom in the in the rail yard or by the train uh was very well done um Don sh continues to do such a great job in this uh in this series um and uh we also had uh the the Tom hanging like I mentioned before but also Viv getting confronted by Frank's gangsters what's going to happen to her they already killed silky um and you know it left us in a really really tough place going into next week how's this all going to get fixed and what is the price that is going to have to be paid now Hudson pointed out to chicken man that hey you know you might go to jail again and while it was really easy to hate Hudson during that flashback I can't hate him anymore um because Chicken Man keeps putting himself in these positions once again everybody's doing a terrific job acting Samuel Jackson Don Cheeto Kevin Hart not a Bigg as Kevin Heart guy I'm not but I've got to say he is doing some outstanding work here for a fight night million Heist anyways what do you think um we got more episodes coming I'm glad peacock is sort of slowed down with the uh the release schedule to let us savor it I thought they were going to rush it out like they did Bel Air uh but they're doing right by us let me know what you think in
