Baltimore Orioles getting close on a deal for allstar Garret Crochet from the Chicago White Sox

welcome back to baseball Rambles everybody hope everybody's doing awesome out there staying safe had a chance to enjoy the MLB allstar game if you haven't like or subscribe please do so can't tell you how much I appreciate your support best way you can help me out is by hitting like And subscribe and I give away prizes to subscribers just to say thank you for watching you're going to be able to get in on that as well so as I said the MLB All-Star game is over and that means things are going to get heated quick because the trade deadline is less than 10 days away and one of the top pitchers that is certainly going to be traded is coming out of the Chicago White Socks they're having a miserable season over 70 losses already and they want to trade away Allstar pitcher Garrett crochet and teams are going to be in on this guy he's a lefty he's got three years of control left and he's putting up some amazing numbers this year 6 and six 3.02 to ER whip at 95 150 strikeouts only 23 walks over 107 Innings pitch yeah 150 strikeouts 23 walks that control is amazing leading MLB pitching so that's why teams are going to be in on him and the white socks are expecting a huge haul they want those prospects to really bolster their farm system and give them the chance to rebuild for maybe postseason contention years down the line and really it's three teams in on Garrett number three it's been no surprise they've been linked to them for the last month and it's the Dodgers but the Dodgers even though they have the number eight farm system and all of MLB I suspect they won't want to empty it out for somebody like Garrett they're going to Pivot small to cover Yamato and Kershaw and I suspect a player maybe like yussa Kikuchi from the Toronto Blue Jays going over there to help the Dodgers with their postseason run so to me it's really down to the Padres and the Orioles Orioles have the best farm system system in baseball but the Padre's aren't far behind with number four the big question about the Padre's they are desperate they are in win now contention they need to make big moves they are just over 500 and battling out the Dodgers in that area and in doing so if they want to get Garrett they're going to have to trade away their number 12 Prospect Jackson Merill that's right that's a steep price to pay and on top of that also Dylan Lesco number 56 so I'm not sure if the Padre's are going to cut themselves that deep and I think they're going to Pivot elsewhere really leaving it down to the Baltimore Orioles and it's a great fit for the Orioles a player under team arbitration contract for next three years so kind of a fiscally responsible trade for the Orioles and they have a pleora of minor league players that they could trade away and still have an awesome farm system but as I said it's going to cost dearly and I suspect the Baltimore Orioles are going to have to trade away Samuel Barcelo catcher first base number 17 Prospect in all of MLB and Colton cower Outfield Prospect number 19 so two top 20 prospects from the Baltimore Orioles going over to the Chicago White Socks and maybe a little bit more they can convince the white socks to throw in a a bullpen piece which Baltimore also needs but this is really the last piece of the puzzle for the Baltimore Orioles if they can get one or two premium starters this might be a team that could win it all this year in the World Series let me know what you think gar it over to the B bore orol if you really think it's going to be the Dodgers or the Padre's always appreciate to hear what you have to say in the comments below even if you don't agree more importantly I hope everybody stays safe out there enjoy the summer hit that like And subscribe and we'll Ramble On soon take care guys
