Dana was good is in for Keith tonight. This is the kind of forecast we like to hear more of. I'm ok with what's going on right now. I know we got some sunshine to talk about the next two days. But today I've been calling it a tale of two seasons, depending on where you were in the state. Today, had a big impact on what weather you experienced. Now, the rain showers that we saw that moved through earlier this morning were ahead of a cold front that's been moving through this noon. So most of the shower activity was over right around lunch time and we ended up with some more sunshine as we got into the afternoon. And that means we had a big range of temperatures across the state today. If you were in southern Maine, high temps got into the upper eighties, got to 90 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire today. However, northern and eastern Maine had a very different story. High temperatures there only in the upper sixties to lower seventies. Now we've been watching this afternoon, the cold front move from north to south and watching our dew point temperatures decrease. Now, throughout Northern Maine de Points have been in the upper forties to lower fifties throughout much of the day today. However, along the coast, along the coastline, even just a couple of hours ago, our dew point temperatures were in the upper sixties. Now, a lot of us dropping down into the upper fifties. So it's starting to feel a lot more comfortable out there. A trend that will continue throughout the rest of the week. So we all get in on the fall like action tomorrow. Once an area of high pressure moves in behind the cold front, plenty of sunshine, high temps tomorrow only getting into the low to mid seventies. So mostly clear skies overnight tonight, that will allow our temperatures to get a little bit cool. Could even see some upper thirties in area like Rangeley or Berlin. Most of our low temperatures though will be in the upper forties to lower fifties and then smooth sailing throughout the rest of the week. Really just plenty of sunshine out there. Very comfortable in the dew point departments, high temperatures will be getting into the upper sixties to lower seventies. Honestly, just a really great stretch coming up very fall like though, but summer is not over yet. We have another system that we're going to talk about coming in for the weekend that unfortunately is going to bring some rain for the holiday weekend forecast. So we're gonna be watching this cold front as it moves through throughout the weekend. Now, it's not going to be a wash out this weekend, but I think you kind of have to pick and choose what times you want to be outside if you have any outdoor plans. I think the first half of the day on Saturday looks pretty good and then the cold front starts to move through. We get some showers and some embedded thunderstorms throughout the afternoon on Saturday as well as overnight into early Sunday morning. I think down East Maine especially will have some shower activity linger into the first half of the day on Sunday and then we end up with some clearing as we get into the afternoon. However, there's another trough that's going to come through very quickly after it, which means we'll have some more rain chances Sunday night into early Monday. Now Monday has been trending a little bit drier, which is good, but just in general as you go into this holiday weekend, keep the umbrella handy. I've been saying it all day sees 2 to 3 ft ocean temp, there is 65 degrees. So overall, it's kind of a little bit of everything as we go into this week. The next two days, we're gonna have a very distinctly fall, like, feel very comfortable in the dew point departments, low seventies for high temperatures, plenty of sunshine. And then Brian and Amanda, we do have those rain chances as we get into the holiday weekend. Not a wash out but you kinda, kinda wanna pick and choose when you wanna be outside. Unless of course you pack a rain jacket. Then the weekend is yours. Just enjoy it, Dana. Thank you.
