WARNING: Strong earthquake is likely in San Bernardino County - August 6 to August 7

Intro good evening this is Luke Tom squ here the earthquake forecast center quakeprediction.com it's 656 in the evening on Monday August 5th 6:56 PM Monday August 5th and we have a situation down in San bero County first of all um let's look at the map for Forecast map forecast map for today and you can see this uh 85% risk in the Western San Francisco Bay a significant risk off the northwest coast and the risk is building down here in southeast California now here's the warning um first of all back on the uh early on the 29th uh there was a 4.9 actually was 5.2 at first and uh that was in our warning area right here in the San Bernardino County uh this is a forecast model that we did have posted but it was uh we had posted it briefly but we were afraid to use it until we got a better look at it but this forast model worked perfectly for that 4.9 earthquake that hit in san bernido county on the 29th now let's look at the current maps you can see Current maps there's another very high risk area in san berino county starting tomorrow the 6th through the 7th so we put out a warning for a strong earthquake in San Bernardo County on August 6 to the 7th and here's another forecast model here you can see very strong risk level in uh Riverside County uh Imperial County and the S especially in the San berardino County there 98% risk so looking for a strong earthquake in southeast California near San berino County uh during the next 3648 hours August 6th to the August 7th most likely late on August 6th so watch out for that in that county in that area of California and then the risk uh you can see this is one of the forecast models is a different one same same date but a different forecast model showing the same area and then the next day the 7th into the eth uh that risk moves up into Nevada and Utah and Northwest Arizona also high risk across to San Francisco up into Northeast California on the 7th and the e8th and this is the most uh worrisome uh forecast of the sixth to the 7th here in San bernido County but again high risk in San Francisco Bay on the 7th to the e8th in Japan this forecast model has Japan been working extremely well um it forecasted a high- risk in Woka area and in a 4. six hit there we forecast Northeast okido and a 4.6 hit up in that area it's been working really well this is the forecast for the 5ifth and the 6th 85% risk around iaki and down into Chiba and then on the sixth into the 7th of August the risk moves up into seoro Ido area and off the coast of Chiba but not a whole lot of risk in Japan on the sixth and the 7th 7th into the 8th of of August not very much risk at all across Japan just wait offshore and way up here in Northeast to kaido um so pretty quiet across Japan on the 7th to the e8th and the eth into the 9th quiet again pretty much across all of Japan except the Northeast portion near Hokkaido Northeast Hokkaido and then maybe something significant 5.0 to 5.5 is possible offshore way offshore in these 90 93% area of Japan in Alaska this forecast model should work great across the globe right now now we're doing Alaska Japan and Alaska California and you can see this little knot of risk here Southwest of Kodak Island 85% risk there today and that produced a 3.0 quake in that exact area boom 85% risk a 3.0 hit there so we'll see more action on this as it goes along you can see much higher risk up here in Northwest Alaska on the fifth and the 6th and the risk is is building in Southwest Alaska at that time as well and then on the sixth and the seventh very high risk here in the southwest portion of Alaska and look for maybe a 5.0 or 5.5 in that area on the sixth and 7th of August and then the risk moves from that area here in the North Central and down here in the southwest right into the Anchorage area 80% risk 85% risk near F Fairbanks now in Western Alaska but uh 4.0 to 4.5 is possible in the Anchorage area on the 7th to the 8th once again this forecast model is working Forecast Models extremely well uh in all the different locations here's the two forecast models this one and this one uh both from the 6th to the 7th of August are showing something here in San bero County and Southeast and South uh Southern California Imperial County San bero uh Riverside counties looking for a significant earthquake we'll see it should be at least a 4.5 earthquake so be prepared for that on August 6 to August 7th again this is Luke Thomas homequest here at the earthquake forecast Center quick prediction. comom please check our maps and graphs off over at uh uh quick prediction. comom and for more details and we will be back after the Quake hits uh in the San bernido area and we will update you at that time thanks again for your following again over 274,000 followers on social media and almost 20 years of earthquake research Earth quakeprediction.com thank you
