you feeling after your debut last night as a MK singer judge well look I'm biased but I thought it was a really great fun show you kidding me we loved it Peg loved it I can't believe toon toad Toody was revealed he was in the other day and he didn't tell us not even off fair and did you notice how good I was swanie because I knew and I didn't say anything should have known actually we we should have radar up when the channel 10 personality comes up we should be watching closely watching Christine's sort of instincts watch what she does her body language obviously when he was performing I didn't know who he was now that I knew who who that who the Knight was yeah all I can hear is toe fish rebecky and I just think what how couldn't I have picked it up on the night almost sounds the voice is female almost female absolutely that does not sound like to well we're going to be catching up with him at 6:30 and finding out all the ins and outs oh Wicked the toad I can't believe we get absolutely there's nothing to gain there's nothing on the line between West Coast and ADL but just the crowd turning up to pay their respects and they got what they what they wanted swanny when he came out and kicked eight how good football how good football we won two games for the season and that felt like watching a final I don't even care that we lost just watching old big JK kick eight joh man that was great I loved it cuz he's so loved loved yeah even from opposition players yeah I think is a great place on he so 700 goals nearly 300 games he'll go in as a West Coast Legend I think Mattia uh cousins Jud jackovic and Kennedy Iran he's nearly in the top five yeah it was beautiful and no one left like we got nothing to cheer for this year and the whole stadium didn't leave SW it was really beautiful beautiful um we talk about Monday's last game uh he's still going he's still going yeah Monday he's still going um and what about about what about oh they had a good win against woodog that was thing buddy you talking about Buddy the other day he what happened buddy well buddy Franklin has talked that uh he's going to go to Brisbane go to Brisbane and then I think that's been shelv there's nothing there and then how does that happen apparently well um I don't know what's going on there because there was a channel 9 reporter in Brisbane obviously was speaking to someone in his management firm and said they're going to move back to the Gold Coast and something you know they tried to put two and two together and oh all of a sudden Brisbane needs a forward because Daniel m is going to Collingwood and then they've ran with a report unbeknownst to Brisbane obviously unbeknownst to Sydney because Sydney and Buddy were apparently about to agree on a contract they're about $50,000 apart and then I think with all the speculation Buddy's now come out over the weekend and said no that's it contract negotiations off until the end of the year till he can sit down with his family and think about his football career and its future so buddy kicked four goals yesterday but more likely just retire at the end of it so that'll be one to follow at least but I know that was blowing up Friday I wasn't here so that's a little bit of an update Swan's won the flag cuz if you get they're up there he's gone right you'd think he'd retire a nice way to finish yeah maybe yeah that' be a nice way to go out or if they win the Grand Final maybe he'll be worth a lot more yeah well well yeah the problem is like the celery cap it's hard to pay a player at 36 years old to pay him too much more anyway I think buddy just wants to enjoy his last few weeks let him go and just enjoy the whole age thing in football seems so arbitrary just their body Swan it's a hard game they get all rickety I know but sometimes they don't yeah true that's a good point Swan you know what I mean it just seems so arbitrary it's like some people for example Nathan Jones fit as a fiddle still still running triathlons yeah that's what I mean and then other people at 36 I love how you said this though swanie cuz that was was one of the quotes attached to Buddy wanting a new contract apparently he said to jenter his wife like I'm not sure if they got hidden audio of his house but apparently said to jint I feel like a 21y old again so that that quote got traction all of a sudden that was out there so and this is why he wants another cont SCE close to Franklin yes swny you've lived in that world you know what it's like what about C my boys beat C yesterday Jesus I think C's going to miss the final can you believe it come on vosy this is crazy do something with them down there they've just collapsed they started the season 10 and two the blue Baggers they play Melbourne next Saturday night at the G and then they play Collingwood on the final Sunday of the season they have to win at least one of those games at least one of them now Western Bulldogs breathing down their throat I think it's going to be Richmond and the Bulldogs fill up seventh and eighth on the ladder ouch it could be percentage that get the absolutely it could be oh my God come on vosy F him up for God's sakes uh and yeah and on Saturday not a great game of football swanny but Essen played gws not exactly a blockbuster no um gws is colors do you know what they ask one in Orange Orange not often and white yeah often yeah orange and white sometimes they go with a charcoal but usually orange and my20 but usually the colors not often referred to by the commentators usually called by their podcast you know I've started to think critically about the reasons I do the things I do and I really recommend it sometimes you just go why do I do that thing again and then I go oh Society aha Society yeah and you just build these routines that's it or these habits when you go I don't know why I do it I just do it that's right you just do it and then if you think about why you're doing it and you go hang on do I actually want to do this yeah for example me wearing Runners every day that's not really the accepted thing since Jerry Seinfeld did it I'd say it's okay mate it's not really come on it's not really but I do it anyway because it pleases me absolutely like Sam leaving the house he puts a Dinger on every morning correct John yeah it's the same it's the same prepared he's had a partner for 15 years though he's prepared who who told him not to okay and he's he's critically thought about that and he said I'm going to do this this pleases me Safety First do you know what I did yesterday I kept on looking at my bedroom going this is so messy all the time why why and it's because cuz there were pillows lying all over the flooor all the time how many pillows you got on your bed I reckon eight that's unreasonable but I to be sexist about this but what is it with you girls and your infatuation with pillows I agree like honestly it's like going through a maze trying to go to bed every day if you're first to bed can I tell you controversial opinion it's stupid you don't need that many pillows and I know that this is an outrageous thing because yesterday I was looking in my room and I thought why do I have so many pillows why and this morning Jack said to me who told you to have so many pillows and I said Society yes Society told those magazines it's so stupid ladies Garder you only put your head on one pillow how many how many pillows um seven Jesus how many heads do you have I have one head how many pillows do you actually sleep on um yeah I probably use two of them I'd say two yeah so why do you have an extraneous five pillows because it looks so nice who sees it who cares me I see it and I like the look of it so mind you my wife has built the Great Wall of China between me and so maybe it's getting it's getting bigger by the week 20 honestly so during the night do they go on the bed in between in between like honestly it is bigger now than the Great Wall of China see I sleep alone so they they're just on the floor and then I wake up in the morning and I pull the duner up to make it yes and then they're still on the floor and then maybe once a week I'll put them on the bed but the rest of the time there's seven pillows on the floor yeah that's that's yesterday I picked up any pillow that I don't actually put my head on and I stored it away burnt it in a drum it should have burned it actually I stored them away I'll find something to do with them cuz they're nice pillows I stored them away and now my bed has a surface for my body to sleep on a surface for my head to rest on my favorite pillow there's only one where do you put the pillow do you put it in the middle of the bed or on one side on one side and then there is one on the other side just for Symmetry and then I I made the bed and and that was that I want some pict mus feel abs how do you feel I feel yes amazing and I'm telling you ladies think about who told you who first told you to have a stupid amount of pillows on your bed was it the wonderful bed linen company was it Oprah was it aaz was it bed bath and table who was it you can still have a lovely bed linen it's probably alen probably Ellen Ellen it might have been Ellen yeah you don't need that many they're clogging up your shakras ever wondered what happens in the studio check out Chrissy Sam and Maloney welcome my friend good day guys thanks for having me again I just want to I just want to say um you were the night last night you were holding your own head and I want to give you 10 points for pointing the microphone to the head and not to the cavity where your head would have been smart so he sang with the microphone under his arm it was very funny my daughter loved that part oh good excellent thank you yeah I did have my hands now that I hear that it was you uh I can hear that it's obviously you how was the process for you oh look I I spent you know not being a stinger it was uh all I really wanted to do was just not stuck um so I'm pretty happy that it's not that embarrassing did you feel objectified that I commented on your powerful thighs uh look you know you just got a roll of these things just kind like oh if that's turn if that's you know like you B cool there you go and the honey badger the honey badger was a pretty good guess to be honest yeah I guessed the honey I did well it was a a lot closer guest than uh Mel B's guest I was very surprised when she's tossed out this one just listen to the audio Tony so when I hosted in Melbourne Dancing with the Stars I met Brendan F yes never say his name FAA Brendon faola FAA yeah yeah I reckon fe's got to be pretty happy with that one I didn't think uh I didn't think she would have known who fed was dur there any chance the producers would have been in her ear going she worked with fev apparently she knows him quite well when she work with him on the radio no on a on a no on a TV show like um I can't remember which one it was she knows him quite well Dancing with the Stars maybe yeah hey something Ryan um you're a beautiful show off just like us so I I'm assuming you love karaoke Do You Love karaoke uh I don't mind a bit of karaoke but normally it doesn't sound anywhere near that good so it's normally after a few drinks and it's just kind of screaming into a microphone I didn't I didn't think that that would cut it for National TV you sounded pretty good yeah it sounded like you altered your voice slightly though you don't sound like a man driving a bulldozer which is your current job at the moment not yet right yeah I don't have the ab I'm not that good at thinger to be honest to be able to alter my voice uh no look it's one of those weird things like it like um you spend like a month you know locked locked in the cupboard doing Zoom meetings with your with your singing teacher and then you turn up and and they uh they go okay so now we're going to record you and that's the first time you've actually heard yourself through through a microphone so I it's like oh okay I don't need this thing like that so it completely changes how you s and you're like okay all right I think I've got this now after going through it once um and then they give you in earbuds so then you're hearing the fback and and you're hearing you know the backing tracks and all this kind of stuff it's all so completely new and you kind of don't really have much chance to get used to it um and then uh at the end of it when they take your head off then they get rid of your earbuds and your microphone they give you a handheld which is something completely different again you're like oh my go this is pretty scary I hope this really doesn't suck so you learned that Ed sharan song which you nailed by the way did you have any others up your sleeve before you were unceremoniously uh unmasked uh yeah I did actually and I look the edum one was actually was pretty high for me um and so it was it was actually pretty hard and I was I was that was the worst song that I had to be honest I was really looking forward to to having a crack at some of the others what were the others oh we had super freak that was the next one SW song damn it now the last time we saw you was the last day of neighbor the uh the the finale how's your life been since that oh you know um pretty normal I've been going to school I've been hanging out at home doing Farm fencing taking the kids to basketball and gok carting you know I've been enjoying myself Ron what did you do on the night tell us exactly I want to picture it in my head where you watching who are you with which which night no the finale of enough of the masting in now back to DAV all right cool um uh so what did they do um well actually um my son uh my son had chicken puff so we had to stay at home so literally we just stayed at home had a had a nice pasture and a bottle of red and and uh and watch Neighbors so it was it was quite nice I thought Co would have killed Chicken Box I didn't realize that was still absolutely me neither hey just do a quick one before you go a lot of the contestants on the mass singer do it for their kids so that when they're and their kids are watching it they're like oh my God we didn't realize it was you Dad did you have that amazing moment with your kids um I look you know having teenage kids um their biggest concern was that I I just wasn't going to embarrass them at school um and so uh we um we went over to my brother's house have got little kids uh so I had to borrow somebody else's kids to get that moment it was nice well M it was it was awesome the last thing and he duped us the other day when he was in here he well he knew that he was on the M singer and so did Christine you know and they just downplayed it I think you may have him got asked about it at one stage were very good weren't we Ryan oh we were we didn't even share a knowing look between each other no uh it continues 730 podcast then when I uh think of Jennifer kge stiffler's mom I think of this song is that from the movie is it I don't think I've ever seen American Pie fny it's unbelievable especially stiffler's mom I didn't even know her name Jennifer kage yeah I think she's just known as stiffler's Mom uh she is such a great woman she was talking about after being stiffler's Mom Swan how I just shot her to Superstar him and obviously made her a a little bit more sort of on the market if you know what I mean when it come to the opposite sex prolific John I got a lot of sexual action from American Pie there were so many benefits to doing that movie I mean there were about like like 200 people that I would have never had slept with yes coolage 200 people brilliant yeah that was great that got my attention swanie but I thought oh yeah that's good it be great if we knew somebody well it's been revealed over the weekend our boy Ash Williams hooked up with her in the back of a cab I cannot believe after all the hours that we have spent together he never told me you have walked around the equivalent around Australia Christine Swan I can't believe SP son of a [ __ ] what says here in the paper um it was one such conquest and that he shared a kiss in the back of a taxi which was the most romantic thing to happen to me in the back of a taxi that year who said that Ash or I'm not sure we need to get to the bottom of it we're going to have to get Williams on Jack we need to pencil a whole break and just let him tell us from start to finish what happened well he might come in he might come in he's fairly free I reckon if we get on to him now he could just come in free coffee and he's here you reckon today we'll get him yeah I reckon yeah there's a lot of jokes around that stiffler's Mom in the back of her taxi having a pass with her Ash Williams I'm sure he can work something out for us I cannot wait to talk to him about it in great detail oh that's hot free coffees you today no you know there's no puff tipping him into the pot plant no there's not full disclosure Christine I went out with a couple of the younger members of the team yes and um well we'll hear about that in a minute but it was wonderful I just I said to Jack and Dino I'm yours I'll take you look reinvigorated well you know why cuz I I saw a very crisp performance on the m sing last night me on uh Friday which started by the way with a charity lunch so way 2014 if you saw Dino or Jack or Sam in the Wild on Friday night that's a bit dangerous well I tell you what I remember no I tell you what I remember I remember obviously you get me late yeah would you like to have a photo no problem at all I've just remember taking a lot of photos with people and also thanking a lot of people for having me there's a lot of there's a lot of venue changes Brandy which usually is the death of a night you usually you use moment lose momentum but this one just can you take us through the changes in well I started at there was a there was a charity event for uh kids I wonder you drank for another 4 hour just to get over just to get over the pain walking away envelop envelope that was your it was it was for kids first and it was a Ross Stevenson charity you know and I said no problems and quick chat on the stage and then that was it but yes of course it hurt when when you just slink out of there with you know with the it's good I'll get to the quick chat next you want more I don't know what I'm was spoking about but then at 3:30 so I had a couple at the charity lunch when I realized I'm not getting envelope I thought no no m i I'll pop a couple in but then I met Jack and Dino at uh Garden State no no no you guys started a garden Sate uh but how was that I missed that part well that was 3:30 and was it was pretty it was a crisp part I was well I was just you know well old then then it didn't take long swanny before we're at uh we were at bar bamb bam bar bamb brother bar Bambi on Flyn dis just off fln popped in there and had some I ly the stomach though food there cure and milk should have there was a lot of shots very early in the night not a lot of it's just too many and did you say shots on the way out the guy who owned it who sounds like a super spy Nick Russian yeah yeah that's right applied us yeah we couldn't escape big start so Swan usually 500 p.m. or something I think it was dark by then but you you know you at a I think it was yeah it's Underground yeah that's right and um then so already I've I've beted two more venues than I usually am yeah you know I usually go out to dinner and then just you know go home or go out to lunch all of a sudden it's about 7:00 feels like I'm at my third venue you I look at I go I don't even know where I am Jack I said where are we he goes we're at a we're at a beer launch in in Port Melbourne venue 3 how did you get there C Uber Uber I want to say want to say I thought one of those scooters no already venues are piling up and then I was uh Tok hang was doing his vape trick where he goes up to someone with a vape asks when they had covid and if it suits him that is well it might have been but there was a lot of I remember this funny there was I I'm going to I'm going to V to qualify course I don't just I'm I'm asmatic I don't even vot it's just funny you know it's like I asked someone for a cigarette and I put it in the wrong way and it got a light you know it's just it's just physical comedy and then uh there was there was a some me it's a beer launch I'm in front of a media wall I don't know where I am thank you for having me this there's a lot of this one there's a lot of this Sam this is someone so oh thank you for having me yeah it's not his joint it's just a I know good on you there was a lot of that then and then the footy was getting close like oh that's right we went back to do oh quick get an Uber we'll catch the last quarter at my joint so watch the last bit of Melbourne Collingwood what a at Dino's place which is a wonderful venue hey got a new table you like it I thank do for having me when I was in there surely after that yeah once you get to a a doicle yes it's finished you think so I know you didn't go up and sleep up in the Loft you got your photo your photo up and he's ask him if it's still there I think he's I think he's grown up I don't think there's photos of I replaced it with PL a Fu fair enough I would have thought we're at someone's house this is it isn't it yeah absolutely no no no wrong we're at a place where we went to a club I'm going to say called Misty crystals Misty crystals will do that's close enough Miss Collins Miss Collins oh what do you know it I've been to miss Collins before yeah I have too there's a lot of dancing going on and then then we're in uh Macar there was a big line out the front we didn't wait in it by the way this is all music what sort of music is pretty much this shot song to this is what I this is I said at the start of the night this is when I realized I may have made it I may have heard in My Philosophy for the night which was I'm you two I'm going wherever you go okay adventure adventure Christine mhm and then after no no no at Miss Collins we got into the roof somehow yeah we're in a roof oh that's fun how did you get into the roof someone just took us someone just grabbed us and took us into the damn roof like a little ladder or a secret little hide out but how did you get into it stairs escorted there as I bit Army Hammer about this as I was being escorted up I just thanked everyone for having me he was so grateful I tell you you get up there was there a l of that pull down out of the roof for a spiral stair no but that's a good idea for a club by the way so you know there's there's there's areas that you there's dance floor and there's the there's this area this area if you something if you pull something and then end up in the roof the roof yeah uh and then where do we see we saw a few people we saw Byron there remember Byron from uh Fifi F all that he just appeared out of nowhere the RO in the damn roof I thank him for having me and then I love how some people are angry drunks sad drunks Sam's a grateful drunk grateful I'm happy and then uh that I would have thought that's the end no but no that I remember the words I don't know what time it was but I would been on it for 14 15 let's go back to my house and watch a movie that's what din said but I said oh yeah cool let's get some what about food he goes I said Uber Eats he goes no no no I've got this place on the way home it's a cracker mate this was the worst joint I've ever seen in my life right and it was the brightest that I don't know it was brightest 20 the the lights or the floresent chips the chips were not chips were not a normal color I know exactly the sort Noble chips right and then but on the menu Pizza kebabs chicken everything broad range and then I just remember I remember standing there right in the brightest of Lights you've ever SE know like I said the chips I chips and the lights and then I look around and there's a SP to said I'm pretty sure this restaurant as soon as they close they may hold uh [ __ ] fights here I'm not kidding this that's what it that's what that's the feeling but I tell you the takeaway for me brny cuz I got home at 400 a.m. yes geez it's a big one you know what mate I am an old boxer right yeah I can I've still got 12 rounds in me and I've still got a knockout punch but just space my fights out right so I had 12 rounds on Friday yeah but I can't fight again for about a year Chrissy Sam and brownie I love the uh it sounds like it was a great day on Friday Sam so big and so good that uh it was uh chronicled in the papers over the weekend was fantastic yeah Sam's Sam's day especially the lunch where he was at the 3w lunch Swan and and obviously it was a big hit it was fantastic some of the material up there went through so good it was that they chronicled pretty much the whole his whole time up on stage and some of his zingers you can't do anything Sam may I I just want to let you know I I wasn't aware that you know I was just there as shut up I was just there not knocking him down I was there as a guest doing charity charity work yeah and it's also nice to keep your future employers sweet if you know what I mean yeah absolutely and Sam in the morning well Sam Chris sorry Christine I'm glad you are glad you alluded to that because Sam certainly alluded to that on stage very early on when he was up there getting interviewed by Ross Stevenson as just part of his sort of half an hour you probably how long you up there four I was only up there for about 10 15 minutes but for the audience it felt a lot longer well not for the boss of 3/ Chann 9 Chris Dan one when uh he was getting interiew by Ross Stevenson uh and Sam cheekily said Greg now this is Greg Burns who is the big boss the head huncher Greg obviously you are very important I'm just letting you know I'm out of contract at the end of the year fire mate good stff he he said to laughter from the crowd is that is that in there yeah yeah lot lot of laughter and he reached for the checkbook appar zing and then andon Ross said you'll head back to thrw won't you that wasn't so much of his what a great headline though um read it yeah the headline producing the laughs went off with a Pang get it like a bang but better I love that headline it's a beauty I might I'll sign it for you do you want it you want put in the scrapbook or S and some of the interactions with Ross Stevenson were Fantastic Sam went into his uh he's history working in radio he worked at Triple R Christine Swan that was his first paint job how has it turned into this is your life first paying job was as a producer at 3 I was working on sports today with Clinton gers and Dwayne Russell a little n fact about Sam is he he's been behind the mic as well over the journey and then the his first time he met Ross Stevenson the great Ross Stevenson and you said I remember the first word you said to me Ross why with one thanks Chief stay down Ross they would have knocked down I was put on the spot I didn't really have you know it was like a it was a chat I didn't and then I've realized that there's a crowd in front of us and then he did the wrist watch after that is that what happened next the burger the crow would the oxygen master and drop out of the overhead cabin you know Ross said some big finish some pu of the penis gear I said what do you got Ross I'll take I'll go I'm ready to go let's go he does the wizard I don't even know what that is I the umbrella was a hit as well he's big fan of the Bulldog there it is yes thank you very much he spoke about his time as a footballer you know he's and he talked about his nickname well I got asked about it I didn't volunteer much of this stuff by the way yeah but most of it we all so for instance that he he you know dinner's being prepared for a dinner and and 15 minutes early he rocks up to this dinner party 15 minutes and then he turn to the camera and goes is that rude oh I love it so then the hundred so basically people wander through life not realizing that they're rude bastards but now they'll be able to see these scenarios and see what Australia thinks on every
