hey everybody thank you for joining us this is Elsa 932 on YouTube um I am joined here with struggle streams and um it is hot off the press the reunion it just happened yesterday um and it gave some things and it was lackluster in some things so we are here to share our thoughts so please like the video share subscribe to the channel and also subscribe to struggle streams how you doing today I'm all right thank you H welcome everyone to the reunion review I'm good thanks elid how are you doing I'm good I'm good um I raised home yesterday to watch it yeah you told me that the reunion was available I was thinking it would be out tomorrow right I I did not realize I was um watching something and they said Monday and I was like Monday 9900 p.m. you know UK time I'm like what time is that here so it was four o'clock in the afternoon here I was like family I do not know you I need to watch this and right away I put up my review um what do you think of it overall before we get into the I liked the studio audience um I wish it was more of the Pod folks but I was um hot about some things um I'm going to roast them in um at a particular point like I did in my recap and um it cleared up some things and they didn't go hard but let's just say they these host went harder than the US host ever go on on the contestants I'll just say that okay I think they let a certain castmate slip under the radar a little bit by not holding her to account but let's get into it okay let's start how they started they started with Demi and olly they are not together he kept the birthday card and um she moved back with her family to find herself and she's feeling better and when olly was asked well who are you dating he kind of heed and hard about whether he and Charlotte were actually together what did you think yeah I don't think he wanted to be put on blast like that to be honest about who he's dating now um but uh I do think that the Demi and Ole situation worked out for the best it's rather it's it's better that she took the decision to find herself and reach that place where she's comfortable um rather like do it before the marriage rather than have to divorce because of it so yeah I do agree Ali also is doing interviews and one of the interviews I saw with him he said it was actually between Charlotte um Katherine and Demi that he had you know he was dating in the pods yeah not surprised by that it's it's speed dating and I think initially they date everybody and then they narrow it down to who they've got the best connection with right so um I I would have liked to have seen a little clip of that because we were all wondering when we did the recap of the mixer like Charlotte is a beautiful woman what was it about her that she was not snatched up by one of the fellas so we kind of see that olly she was a serious interest of oi's yeah but you know we also know that olle had stronger connections with Katherine and Demi so maybe the connection wasn't as strong for whatever reason but he still had to make a choice between the two right in Catherine's case she chose for him and and let him down is that the story We sticking to that's what Catherine sticking to remember she went back into the house sorry she yeah she went back into the into the um the lounge the the mixer and wanted to clear that up that she was the one that dumped olle not the other way around clearly a thing and Oli made it clear Demi Charlotte are his preference made it quite clear that is his dating history that is his preference so y'all stop trying to roast Oli about whether or not he would have you know liked Demi you know in the physical sense he said that is that is the that is the type of woman that he prefers right and I think that was uh that needed to be said because all season long I think the narrative was that he prefers white ladies or he prefers a different type of girl to Demi and uh yeah he wanted to set that record straight because you probably been getting a lot of heat online for those assumptions when they're not facts I just think people are projecting the man could have a preference or not but you know there's something to be said since he knew the club Katherine went to and he knew the pretentious ladies that are there so you know speaking to someone and having a preference for a relationship are two different things very true so the next is the surprise of the Season Sabrina and Steph they are not together they were the fairy tale couple they were edited as such and I'd always said i' said something about Stephen but I didn't say it very loudly but um there's something about Sabrina as well they're not together she did open her AG agency it got off the ground he did um leave his um family business they did the long distance it was awful not consistent what are your thoughts I called this one I did say that um I didn't think they'll be together by the time of the reunion um but I thought along with probably most people that the distance or their children question with come up again um but you know it was just uh inconsistency she felt like she was doing a lot more to keep them together than he was and there was obviously something that happened on his side with a family member or something personally which shifted his attention from the relationship and she was quite angry about that I do understand that I you know from what they pieced together she went there seven times to London but she did initially say she was going to move to London she did say she was going to but we understand if her business really flourished in Belfast of course you would stay there he had said something with the family member and I wondered if this caused maybe the family business to not be around because he said he had to take on all kinds of different jobs and he lost a lot of clients so I'm wondering if just him taking the time away all that time because he already took what a month off for Love is Blind um that could seriously and you can speak about this because you are in Fitness as well going away like that he could lose his clients he loses his financial base and that can make anyone you know unbearable in a relationship because they're no longer finan sound what are your thoughts yeah I can definitely speak from experience on on on his particular situation with's work yes um in the health and fitness industry it's very reliant on consistency right because when you have people paying you money to want to improve their lifestyle or their health and fitness you have to be there with them or at least contactable or training them in order to make that lifestyle change for them and for them to keep it going so they don't fall off the wagon if you take a month out in that month your client can regress or get bored and find someone else another trainer or another gym or move or the their situation changes somehow and that negatively affects your business because that's a client gone that's that that regular payment that 4-we payment cycle or six week pay whatever it is that frequency is now in interrupted and that's going to delay your payments by a month or however long you've taken out because you're not there so say for example someone buys five personal training sessions from me and I say to them okay we're going to see each other once a week for five weeks if I then take a break for two weeks in that five week allocate allocated time that then delays not only the training sessions but obviously my ability to complete that training cycle and get paid again and if I'm your client it delays my ability to get back into the groove exactly yeah because I would definitely fall off you would be like oh my God girl what did you do I'm like hey potato chips were calling me yeah fortunately in this in the health and fitness industry it's easier to put the weight on than it is to lose it definitely and I don't know why people think um it is you know going to be quicker to take it off than the years it took to pack it on um I think these two still do care about each other because they were really emotionally kind of going back and forth at each other because if you really don't care if you have no emotion for that person you wouldn't be coming at them the way they did she was looking for acknowledgement he was looking to say hey I tried but I was Limited in my trying because I'm trying to now now he's got a hurdle to climb her business is doing well his business is no longer doing well and she's expecting him to travel as much as she did to him that kind of isn't going to help they needed to make a definitive decision as to where to live and try to grow from there because and then she you know somebody got to take the reins some got to yeah this is the thing though um in one sense his business not doing well is an ideal opportunity for him to move somewhere and start all over again the problem is where she lives is nowhere near as lucrative and there aren't as many opportunities as there are where he's fromone London everybody comes from Ireland Scotland different parts of England to London because it's the financial Hub of the country pretty much there's more opportunities more jobs available more more customers more people that earn um higher um levels of income so they have more disposable income so that means when you set up a business there's more chance that they're going to use that disposable income to come and invest in whatever product you're selling in Ireland it's not so lucrative although she's doing well but she could probably if she can do it in Ireland she could probably be much more successful in London as well probably but he did touch on something that I found very interesting he said dating on a dating show is Paradise everything's paid for everything is opulent everything is like you know on a grander scale I'm wondering based on what he said was that the expectation that they would still be you know grandiose you know he also said you know it you don't re was it him that said it you don't know how the person is going to behave when the alarm clock is is setting off at like five o'clock in the morning so based on what he said and what she has you know insinuated I'm like it was the day to day that did them in yeah because unfortunately when the camera stopped rolling it is real life and now you're going to have to start paying for everything that on all reality shows I think the The Producers the show they give them a budget to spend on the dates and all of that stuff it's pretty much laid out for them but in reality when you come off that um is there an expectation to keep up that level and you know um the frequency of your dates as well that may be compromised so and then now you're back in your lives again there are other external factors that can pop up at any time and so I get what he was saying with that um and that's that's why I think it's important that they have chosen the right partner to propose to get married to because they have to have one eye on what real life looks like on the show it's one thing but in real life how compatible are we lifestyle wise yeah cuz she she hit him with the you did not stick to your vows mister I was like oh that was deep she want she heard him really deeply she actually said um you are a man of many words but you're not a man of your word yes something like that yes I was like she went really deep because she listed off all the things she got for his comfort I got you a coffee maker I got this that an ironing board and I'm like wait a minute when did we get into the grocery list of it all it's like are you doing this for you know your partner's Comfort or are you doing this for recognition because that's when I truly knew Sabrina was really hurt because when you start listing off stuff uhuh and you start going into detail I'm like okay she's really hurt by this and you know it maybe that she wanted it so badly yeah and it's also a guy's worth nightmare when uh your girl does something for you and then she turns around and frows it in your face you out publicly and let's just say say this you know it is in my experience very rare for the dude to to get the ironing board or the coffee M or to realize those are things you can't live with and then you know provide it without being asked so there's a false equivalency there but Stephen said he was a gentleman he did not go into certain details of what was done so I appreciate that though you know she said enough for us to understand yeah this was this was um kind of hectic yeah he gave her a lot of Grace um because he didn't want to start mudslinging in and retaliate because he would come across as the villain in the situation he definitely would right so what he did was allow her to event tried to answer some of the points that she was making and address them directly but there's only so much he's going to be able to do because like you said she came in hot angry frustrated probably and even though he may feel the same way he has to absorb what she's saying rather than go tip for T because he might get called sassy wow he just might um speaking of villains the next couple has a villain within their family Bobby and Jasmine so Bobby moved to London Jasmine said they got their dream home I'm guessing it's an apartment when you say home to me it means a house but the way we saw the video it it looked like an apartment but they they showed you know Wonderful video of their one year of marriage together they are still together they showed his um studio apartment which was cute I didn't see anything wrong with it um but you know he Jasmine did say that he has reassured her and she has taken accountability for her behavior what did you think about Bobby and Jasmine um I think it's good to see that they're happy and still together [Music] um she has erupted and showed the sides of her that I suspected were going to come out very soon firecracker Jasmine call her by the right name firecracker Jasmine Jasmine y um and he uh said that you know that makes him love her even more because now he's seeing all sides of her not just a pretentious side he's seeing the good and the bad and he's still choosing to say so uh yeah I'm happy for them um another man that has shown a lot of Grace when they asked about the mom yep he did he didn't go in on the mom and uh the mom is now completely 110% behind him which is a complete transformation to what we saw before because I think Mama's back account well I think what it is is she's now seeing Jasmine happier than she probably thought she would be in this relationship and doing committable things like now moving in together buying a house he stopped working where he was working he's doing something else now so um I think he's proven that he's there for the right reasons and that relaxes Jasmine's mom and Jasmine a bit more well as um Trey is in the chat he usually would be with us but he's in the chat with us um call it a flat so I'm guessing if he's able to afford to either help her or get the flat for them I guess that will go a long way for Mom too of course and uh yeah Trey we have the most commonly affordable thing is a flat right that's a house conversion that's now separated into a certain amount of separate spes right separate units Apartments we also have Apartments too but they're more upscale still and uh they tend to be very overpriced but they can be very luxurious and relaxing environments at the same time so you would say then that Bobby was living in a flat before and they have moved to an apartment yeah I would kind of go along with that um because when I I'll break it down for you really quickly in order for you to get a property here you have to uh your your income is multiplied by five ooo five right so if you're Bobby and you're earning let's say you're earning 50k right the most you'll be able to get a loan for on your property is about 250 now 250 is not going to buy you much in London that you probably won't even be able to put a one bedroom flat w wow right so with both of their incomes combined then you times both of that income by five and that gives you more spending power on your first property wait a minute but then Bobby said we we trying to have kids you said that you can't even get a one-bedroom so how are we planning to have kids and we gotta we gotta have all this amount of money I mean usually I would say on the southide we can't even get a a a cheaper apartment on the southide I mean what does the Au what do the auctions look like what's a fixer uper right so this is what happens here we have a National Health Service so which is free you guys pay for everything and but we also have family tax credits so if you get married and you have children in the confines of your marriage you get a certain amount of financial help from the government in the form of family tax credits but it's capped to two children so if you have more than two then you lose that benefit if you have two children up to two two children then you get family tax credits plus our health system is free so you don't have to pay for th those things which allows you to spend your money on other things that are Necessities right I understand that I'm just saying the the cost to be in London um even on the outskirts of it is like screaming I just need to visit for a few days yeah it's overed listen unfortunately unfortunately the housing market uh it's dominated by Foreign investors and property development companies same here right so the companies want to make a profit at the end of the day yes so they push the prices up um anybody that owns a property and is a landlord they try and get the maximum rent because they want to fund their lifestyle as well as cover everything for the property they have so it it is tough but I'm and that's even more reason why I'm glad that they managed to do it because you know with with all the hurdles and pit some people could be put off by doing it but he showed and and she showed that they love each other enough to try and take it to that next level so we got to commend that well considering that that's I was making a joke that Mama saw the bank account Bobby has to have a bank account for them to be able to afford that flat or that apartment I'm sorry that apartment it's got to at least be two bedrooms if they having looking at having kids right away cuz no reason to buy a one bedroom now and then got to move over to a two-bedroom so Bobby is doing well for himself y as is Jasmine yep and that's what commendable right I hope mama don't think that second bedroom is for her when she's visiting okay listen I did say last week I hope she doesn't do a Jenny May or whatever you know Yeezy Jenny May sorry Jeezy young jezy Janny May situation where the mother moves in and Causes Chaos in their marriage I hope that doesn't happen but for now it looks like she's going to keep her distance and allow to have there I would just I would just warn him as as you know someone with my Caribbean Heritage as well with that first kid Mama's moving in for at least the first month of course and they're gonna need her because they're gonna have to go out and pay the bills and everything and Grandma's going to have quality time with the young one yes that's how that works here too teaching them how to check Daddy's phone yeah yeah so speaking of kids let's move on to the next couple who he was concerned about how his kids were going to be raised Maria and Tom so they Tom said they parted ways and you know Maria said that Tom was shading her family with how he talked about he wanted to raise an independent child and her mother raised her and her sister as such and she was mad when she saw the emotional moment her mom had with Tom right before the wedding and and while he said they are an incredible family and helped him to learn about himself he did wish that he treated Maria better what did you think about Tom and Maria yeah another one that came in hot Maria came in steaming and uh was airing him out on there and um he nervously um took it but he also took accountability for the the way that he came across and some of the things he said um it's a tough one I just don't think they were a good match because there are some people who want to be independent some ladies who want to independent uh you know don't want to depend on their man financially don't want to be at home they want to be at home to raise their kids there are some women like that especially over here there are some but there are also some who are from the same kind of mindset as Maria is in her culture where they believe that they have to be at home to to rear the kids at least for the first formative years because they they ain't got no money for a nanny to do it and why would you want someone else doing it externally other than grandparents maybe that that is so true that is so true because even in the US Child Care is expensive so even if someone has to stay home you're basically saving yourself a whole other mortgage payment each month by having childcare or saving it having Grandma or whoever come and you know take care of the kid you know when my children were younger we were lucky enough that you know my mother-in-law lived just a few miles away so we were able to keep it in the family but Child Care alone will say hey one of us has got to work from home but here's my thing we said this in the pods Maria told Tom I'm going to stay home with my kids since the pods so why is this now a problem rearing its head um because now the ish has hit the fan and they're now they're now at the alar and it's crunch time you know in the Pod you're kind of information gathering you're matching you're trying to align and everything like that and you may go with someone whose plus points outweigh their negative points right um and then when he gets to the old turn you're like okay now I'm finally going to walk away with this person and start life with them is this the right decision and the differences that they had again it's better they called it now than they put the ring on got married and then they fell out over it after they married or after the kids have come so at least they came to the realization early well I think the realization that they came to early or at least Tom came to is that I think Tom's head turned when he saw Natasha the mixer it they definitely did which is why he left the door open for Natasha in their conversations and he also did say that him and Maria have been arguing frequently about some important things so maybe those were the kind of conversations they were having about the culture lifestyle differences certain things in particular that they disagreed on and they both refused to budge but um Maria came in hot like she was you know I don't think he intentionally disrespected her or her family I think she has to understand that with different cultures come cultural differences and he may not understand the significance of what she is trying to achieve in her role in the relationship because he's not accustomed to dealing with that from a cultural standpoint I think went for exotic and didn't realize what came with it yeah he did he did not realize at all and I think because he saw and heard from Maria that she was a rebel so he probably thought she wasn't that deep into you know her culture but again we should know this from the pods we heard it but he probably thought oh it ain't that serious and we could date so they played the conversation with him and Natasha and Natasha cleared it up that she had said she you know it was real for her in a pause was a past tense conversation uhuh um for me it left the door open even if it was a past tense the fact you brought up that we were you know into each other even if it was a week ago it wasn't that long ago right you know even though it's saying in the pods it wasn't that long ago they were what in Greece for what three or four days so three or four days ago you and you you just made a decision and he did reach out to her a week before the reunion what was Tom trying to do um he said he reached out to her to um kind of smooth things over and make sure that there was no bad feelings going into the reunion um he knew Maria was coming in hot he didn't want Natasha coming in hot too kind of both of them H but um you have to remember as well this reunion shot a year later yes so if he reached out to a week before a significant amount of time has passed near a year well according to the comments in the chats and some lives Tom been Tom catting it out there in the dating Streets of London oh yeah I wouldn't be surprised but said you know she liked Tom because he was handsome and not a gremlin is that is that the bar is that the bar yeah I wanted to ask is that a gremlin before or after they eat at midnight Bo no comment for me okay so the next couple is bayah and Cole they are still together they are living together he is trying to hippy her and we saw that in their first year of marriage that they have been traveling around what did you think about their their segment they seem like a very adventurous couple um when he said hippie her around I was like okay Yoba win basically you hit Bing you know you're doing outdoor um camping and you know things like that things that she probably hasn't experienced which is why she so gain for it as well is it's it's a new lease of life with this guy because he's not a conventional I'm a home body I just work come home this is my trade this is I'm going to pay the bills and instead I think Nicole also likes a sense of adventure that comes with ban so they look like be one city one week and then the next week he might say you know what in two weeks time let's go to Belgium oh you know what let's go skiing like there's like a unpredictable but yet exciting factor to be know there is an unpredictable because we saw it in their one year together where he just jumps out and scares her you know and films it you know little scares you know I'm not a proponent for that because you know at least Nicole is a gentle soul some people you scare you might get swung on that's all I'm saying so yeah some people named El was s on I wonder who that is um so he does say he regrets that he didn't give her the reassurance in Theos and he was just scared that it was too good to be true and Nicole's like she should have been more direct but he was like no it's on him so he takes it there and then in their love triangle Sam enters the reunion yeah Sam apparently has provoked the public and he said he went there to find a wife and the last few weeks have not been great what did you think about you know Sam coming through well I think they tried to be a little bit messy by bringing Sam on there because they already saw that there's bad blood from bayah towards Sam um but Sam did have some explaining to do because it turns out that what he said to B wasn't even true when he said that Nicole the only reason why him and Nicole aren't together is because he turned her down that was not true and he had to retract that on the stage and apologize for it which then gives Credence to bia's thoughts that Sam is no good like he was really on the show for different reasons other than love and he's quite an arrogant um you know what so um Sam had to eat some Crow as they say in the Caribbean and um humble himself and apologize and the reason why he's he's been uh not feeling great lately is because he's been getting completely Fred online and with the viewership of the show right well does he think he going to get any better now um I think he thought so which is why he apologized and tried to draw a line underneath it who whoa wait wait wait he did not try to apologize this is where I have a roast Demi yelled at him Sam just apologize and the ones I'm calling out like I did in my recap where are the men that live with him for 10 days bah is saying he's no good and not a single one of those men from the pod squad spoke up and co-signed that Sam has been Reckless you know in the lounge nobody spoke up no I don't think it's their fight that's why and I also think that um from the you could see that there's an allegiance in the pods when Sam came back in from speaking to Cole and looked like he was on course to ride off into the sunset with her you could see that there were only two people that were with him while the rest of the guys were with Bia so I think they had pretty much separated into camps at that point there were maybe two people that were down for Sam and all the other guys were in bia's corner they saw him more as a friend and I understand that my thing was one of the men could have said hey dude that was disrespectful but I already said it he told him that on the that's needed but I'm saying Stephen olly Bobby Freddy you know Aaron in the audience one of the men could step up to that man and say that was not gentlemanly no am I expecting Too Much from the UK men yeah you are many trying to interfere in other people business like that like bah was enough like bah was his main protagonist the main challenge for Nicole's advances so it was berah that needed to stand up in that moment and he did he did exactly and he up the man did not agree with him right but this is what I'm saying but NAA spoke for the rest of the guys they didn't need to intervene personally and all Pile in on Sam that's not what guys do that's going to create it's not a pylon but I understand why on the stage Bay's you know Focus was on Nicole and making sure she was okay with this confrontation one of the men could have said hey Sam just apologize even the host even the host I'm just saying for for from my perspective one of the ladies confronting Sam to tell him to apologize just as bad form him that's you got expected from the ladies cuz they're outspoken Maria so the men men are not outspoken n they when did we see them interfere in another guy's relationship we never not through the whole season they all minded their own business in their own relationship St is the one Stephen is the one that told Baya he should go tell Nicole about what Sam was doing that was in a onetoone conversation so Stephen can't speak up now because it's on a reunion and have a oneto one with Sam no it's not going to be a Ono one it's going to be in front of the whole audience and and there goes so I guess that's where my disconnect is because my thing is the girl should not be telling the man what he needs to be doing that another man should hold the man accountable is am I just seeing it wrong from a UK perspective no you're seeing it from a girl's perspective a female perspective a woman's perspective there's nothing wrong with that but what I'm saying is Demi did enough and berah did enough it didn't need four or five other dudes or anyone else to step in because then it's Freon one they didn't even roll their r i struggle streams they didn't even Huff or Puff they just sat there that's what I'm just like minding their own business oh my word you gotta learn to mind your own businesstime I understand that and if Demi minded her own business then Sam would have still been on the live just rattling off yeah she was right she was right what he was trying to do is explain why he did this why he said that no what de saying is listen just apologize to the girl because you you lied about what happened right you know you know what you know what this makes me the flip side of this is that I have heard before that men just want you to apologize they don't need to know you know hear the why and how we got here or you know for you to be understood and it seemed to me a flip Sam was talking the why and trying to be understood and dami was like just get to the apology man yeah right but dem's found her voice now so she can do that I understand and no one's gonna say anything she's gonna be the champion of the group so okay cuz I'm thinking the gentleman or gentle gly behavior is for you to go to the guy and say hey dude be a gentleman but I guess if it ain't their woman they ain't gonna do anything no exactly dang so I better not twist my ankle in London because if the gentleman would just leave me to my to my own okay I get it okay so Sam says that he's been nervous and that's why all of his words have come out the wrong way nervous because he doesn't want to come across as a villain he wants to be loved by everyone he's a people pleaser and he's also quite Vain and egotistical so when he has people saying bad things about him he finds it hard to take which is why he's been struggling with all the criticism he's received when he's watched this fact he got a nose job to be liked by many and he is still a villain yeah well Sam did say he was honored to have done the experience and wishes everybody well and he left and then Ben you know benayah and Nicole said Future travel that's what is in store for them is Future travel okay next the last couple is Freddy and Catherine Katherine said they are not together Freddy said it was very difficult this was a very special time for them but their lifestyles are just too different and Freddy did reveal that Katherine was snapping at him a bit while they were in Greece yeah that's an understatement Freddy she was back Belling though she's like she's not looking for any problems but you know she did thank him for being able to put up with her Snappy attitude some self-awareness from Katherine is it self- awareness or she just doesn't want to be roasted by the internet well that's ex this is what I was going to say next actually he is very much like Sam they both are people Pleasers because they feel like they feel like um what they're saying and what they're doing when they put people down or make stuff up or whatever in in their mind they're not doing anything wrong but in everybody else's mind and the way they see things they're like yo what's wrong with you you need to stop doing that so they don't want to look like villains but they're coming across as villains because they just don't really deep they don't really think about what they're saying and how other people will be affected by what by by what they've said or done well at least Katherine didn't you know excuse it and said it was nerves that she was nervous but we learned that Katherine was on how many other reality TV shows about three or two others yeah so shows right all dating shows so of course she is not nervous in front of the camera nobody would have believed it so we came across the earrings the whole earring story why did Freddy give her the earrings to match her engagement ring if he knew he was going to say no I said Freddy was you know emotional F boy and that he was giving her a parting gift you know to go away and be quiet about stuff but apparently Freddy said that it's because um it would be you know in bad form if he did not give his bride a gift on the wedding date but I question that since you knew you were going to say no is she technically your bride and is it your wedding day if you're not g to get married right it depends on what point he decided to say no if he had bought the ring or if he had bought the earrings already and then after the fact of buying the earrings as the date got closer he said you know what I'm not going to say yes he still gave them to her and I said it was as a pacifier to say okay look here's a souvenir thank you for the Memories no hard feelings you know wear these and remember our time to get yeah but um do yall have return policies for jewelry yeah UK purchase you can take it back within uh I think it's 14 days okay so so Freddy could have returned the jewelry to the jewelry store yes okay he could have but you remember you were speaking about gentlemen a few minutes ago Freddy comes across as someone who is trying to be a gentleman in that respect he bought her a gift it wasn't you know like they said these ain't no cheap earrings they match the ring that he gave to her the same ring that she traed and said she didn't even want to than he didn't hear that by the way but he went and bought her earrings to match the ring so they're not cheap I think it was a very thoughtful gift very but it was a gift as a souvenir to say you know what this is our time and she did the gracious thing and gave them back everything back after the relationship finished that that's a very you know expensive souvenir so that's why I'm putting Freddy in the back of my mind and processing him a little different differently because my thing is for me it's in bad form that you even gave the earrings no you're going to say no it sound it looks like you know here's here's your consolation prize for when I break your heart so that you won't be too heartbroken and to me that's not very gentlemanly um even the whole you know giving the um other lady a a Parting Gift that's not very gentlemanly so for me I'm looking at Freddy like you could have returned them but it it for me I guess it also said it gave her Colonels to think he was going to say yes and he was serious giving her those earrings made her think he was definitely a yes at the altar now that is her fault that you read too much into it but also if I get an expensive gift like that I'm thinking this is your wedding gift to me and we are getting married today right I mean you could use that emotional argument for any of the guys that proposed that didn't end up walking down the aisle with the bride because it's still a gift in the hope that you know it's going to get the lady's hopes up that you're taking her seriously and then in Tom's case for example you already knew there were cultural differences from the GetGo but you still gave her a ring with the hopes of marrying her so she's all excited wanting to go back to her family and celebrate a new life with you but in reality the same stuff that you had reservations about is still there by the time you get to the altar so you could use that argument across the board with any of the couples that didn't work but I I I think you know I'm Freddy definitely not perfect no one is no one is perfect but I think we um we can quite clearly see that there was somebody in that particular relationship who was deliberately trying to put down and hurt the person that they were with and it wasn't Freddy right she said she was Snappy and his sister did agree that he was kind of like and I'm paraphrasing he was like a shell of who she is accustomed to him being and that would wear on you that would wear on you if your person is constantly Snappy and when your relatives are pointing out that there's something wrong then that means it's gone far beyond you being able to to cover your partner now they're seeing signs in you that you're not your normal self so they will have concerns and they will read between the lines and often time your family know you better than uh your partner will because they've been around you longer they can read you um and then the other thing I'll say is Freddy also made the point that he was in a situation where he thought if he did get her something then he might be seen as like you said an F boy to to a degree and if he didn't get her something then he would be a villain as well right so speaking of that you know Trey is still contributing to the chat um even though he's not live on the panel he said he's bought a gift before a breakup and still gave the gift afterwards struggle streams have you done that [Laughter] no nope I'm with you I return it I return it and get my money back or a store credit no I mean yeah I I've never I've never been in a situation where I've bought something so close to a breakup and you know I knew I wanted to break up with a person and I still bought him a gift I I've never been in that situation no no it it for me it would be more a a scenario would be you bought someone a gift for their birthday yeah and you know their birthday is coming up in a few months but y'all ended up breaking up before their birthday or close to their birthday would you still give the gift yeah I mean what am I gonna do return it get the money back the rent is expensive in London yeah okay that's true it depends if I told her about the gift then I'm GNA let her keep it if it's something that was getting as a secret for example a surprise and then we break up then I'm more likely to say okay well she don't know about it I'm going to get my money back and this never happen told her wait a minute we telling folks about gifts nowadays really listen if you're dating if you're dating an overthinker you can't hide anything well that is true what I have done because I I am an overthinker and I'm a processor and I am a person that you know I don't believe in frivolous GI gifts or what I would think is frivolous the other person may not um so I usually give my husband a list of approved gifts and he could pick as many or as little from that list but I am very difficult to buy for he says because I'm like I don't need that I don't need that why would you even this hoodie that I bought he was like you could have told me you could have told me you wanted that and I'm like I just got it I didn't know I wanted it till you know one of our other viewers you know Sean Sean told me about it and said it was a a sale going on I'm like oh those are nice hoodies I'll buy it but yeah yeah so you're in that category you're difficult to buy for because you're G to come with your specific list and I'm going to look at your list and I'm going to be like these are all things that she's expecting let me provide the element of surprise and do something to surprise her put a bigger smile on her face that's not predictable but the surprise may be a disappointment it usually it might be it usually has been when I when I said get me a sewing machine I gave him five different models that I would like yeah all within budget and he didn't buy you the signal and he did and and he did not go to his mother who is also a sore to get her approval for what it was and it was disappointment he bought you the fishop price no he bought me one that he thought was way better and had more things but it was an embroidery machine rather than a sewing machine so he did think he was going way above and beyond but it wasn't functional right did you um lambast him for doing that no because we opened gifts in front of family but I did give a look like I gave the Sinister smile we'll talk about this in the car on the way home okay how long did you talk about it in the car and when you got home well the kids were in the car so we got home and I said honey um this was not on the list this is an embroidery machine it is not a sewing machine so it will have to be returned to the store did you say like that or did you put some eort I don't land blast I don't land Blast for that because you clearly didn't do what you were supposed to do clearly did any did any accent come out while you were of course of course of course the triny accent was was right there that's as land blast as you're GNA get my thing was I gave you something in order for you to be safe within this boundary and when you go outside the boundary the possibility of disappointment is there so because I don't want that I go to the store and I change it out and he sees me using it and it's not the machine right that would be a huge disappointment because then it'll be like you could have told me okay now I get it I get it but there's also an element of control you're controlling what you want the person to gift you as well right choosing to get you something exactly I I am controlling it just like I am now controlling where we go on vacation because I have the ideas of where I want to go and he's let you down before where you said I want to go here here and here and he's taking you to somewhere where you that was on on the list and You' been like man why do you take me here no I'm always picking the place he would say no I don't want to do that or why would you want to go there and I'm like cuz I want to go there but I always give him an out you can stay home and I can go with my girlfriends there's always an out now girls trips oh no no I'm not the girls trip not in the sense of girls trips uhuh what do you call it when all girls go on a holiday then if it's not it's not all the girls I go with one or two people not girls trips they both girls some are girls this sounds like a girls here some are girls but no not in a sense of what folks term girls trip okay I get so yeah not at all because I will be looking at my friends sideways just as much right okay but that is Love is Blind UK anything else you wanted to talk about other than season two is coming next year I definitely have to say I was disappointed that the hosts had Katherine and Sam sitting next to each other and they didn't address her comments the ring about Freddy's ring and they didn't address her flirting with Sam despite already being engaged to Freddy Freddy's right behind them and she was making these fous comments talking about let's meet up in London sometime they had all the energy for olle and Tom and all the rest of the guys but when it came to the villainous Catherine you know she was like you might say Sam is the villain for the men but Catherine was definitely the most villainous she did get Demi and uh who was it Jasmine going at her as well olle for a little bit as well but I think the host should really have gone into why did you flirt with Stan in front of Freddy and why did you stay those disrespectful comments about the ring if you really loved him and cared about him like you say you did I agree and I would have asked Freddy what did you think about that segment while you were there in it definitely they they probably didn't want to roast Katherine because she's probably going to appear on another dating show on Netflix Oh and the other the final thing is how come it was okay to air out ol's new relationship with a fellow po mate speak it and Katherine is in the exact same position with a guy from the pods that no one dated or no one chose and they didn't air her relationship out they didn't even talk about it and she's been with this guy for the whole year and they lived together well that's kind of soon because that's kind of like how Olli was saying hey I didn't jump right away to Charlotte we had a respectable time between that but if it's been a year the reunion is shot a year after after all of this that means Katherine called him up hey straight away I didn't get married I didn't get married today yeah my boxes my boxes are packed for my parents house I'm ready exactly exactly that's exactly what it gave so like you said ole kind of had a grace period at least he said it wasn't straight away right but Catherine for her to be moved in with this guy already within a year there had to have been you know she was trying to strike up as many connections as possible that's what I think um and this guy is probably third place behind olle and uh and Freddy right or he and Sam obviously her attach to Sam as well so fourth place probably and um I was kind of no one cleared up what Ali would have said or said that's why I Still Standing on Oli went first no no one we haven't seen Ali say anywhere I would have said yes n he says he understands why she said it I don't think he went first because it would to me if he had said no if he had said no at the order before Demi spoke and then Demi said no then there wouldn't be a reason to be surprised that's why I think he said yes first and the reason why I'm also sticking tent toes down on that is that Charlotte said it was hard to watch and she needed him with her to watch all of this so I'm wondering if it would have been hard to watch him say yes to dami at the altar but it was edited out right I think it was hard to watch because he had connection he had a connection with Demi could watching her hug watching them hugged up together you know that's going to make his new girl feel like right you know yeah just like it would make you know anybody else's you know new person kick their heels back anything else you you thought was missing from the reunion uh no that was the main things C go off a bit light hey they probably preparing her for love Island UK what's up not if her and their new boo are together
