Tonight was a battle to behold the showdown between the Norvik State Spartans and the Florida A and M Rattlers. It marked ns us first appearance in the Mi A swack challenge. 13 is now sports anchor. Brian Smith is live in Atlanta with more. Brian. What a close one. I was right on the edge of my seat until the very last second. Wow, Dana to put it simply, uh Norfolk State did everything they could in this game. They were literally 14 point underdogs against the defending H BC U national champs in the Florida A and M Rattlers. However, Norfolk State jumped out to a 14 nothing lead on a pair of touchdowns. Kon King out of Chester for Oscar Smith High School specifically had two scores in this game, had 14 carries for 146 yards on the ground and Norfolk State was in control at this point. However, Florida A and MFU winds up coming back storms back actually to take the lead at 1714 and it just kind of was slipping away from the Spartans who did everything they could. Daniel Richardson, uh, their quarterback had three touchdown tosses, uh, Jalen Daniels for the Spartans, their quarterback, seven of nine. Kind of a quiet night for him. Uh, no touchdowns.
