it was a long yeah it was it was a great deserve win that we needed you I mean I'm just be honest you come so far as line feel like out just playing yeah it feels just just natural at this point but it's all credit to the coaches and then my sh teammates from dcreen Austin Mor and Nick Allen like the guys you know before me teaching me the ropes and everything how did you feel linebackers flowed side to side I felt like they did great it didn't matter who was in the game I felt like everybody had great communication with each other how good can this defense be really good you already know how last year went uh top one of the top teams in the nation yeah I feel like we can be top five in every category and that's what we start to be every day what do you think you guys did best tonight um definitely stopping the Run we know that coming in that's what they wanted to do but that's what they wanted to initiate so us just you know getting on their side of the line of scrimmage and making them you know go three and out and then having to punt the ball so we can give it back to our offense holding the team under 100 yards passing that mean linebacker secondary you guys got to take a lot of pride in that yeah 100% yeah coach claron preaches that cuz once you stop the run you're only making one dimension so that's what we just focused on doing and then they you know the guys behind me did a great job stopping how important were the guys up front not only stopping the run but getting the quar well oh yeah Toby phenomenal every Everybody in the D line they were just attacking him he was he was more worried about you know trying to escape them rather than trying to get the ball to his receivers Co clar called you one of the leaders on the team earlier this week but said you might do it in a little bit more of a computational way yeah what's that look like uh just you know just getting after guys not trying to be soft on them or anything but they everybody on the team knows that it's out of love it's not out of you know trying to get at them personally or anything so a different switch to Flips whenever you get on the field I me you're very calm cool collected gear and then on the field it's a there's a sort of violence that I feel like we see that is not present here is there a switch to yeah yeah there has to be with football you know it's a violent game played by Violent Men so if you don't go out there with that mindset you're kind of just going to get you know get you know banged up and everything so you had to rate the defense performance how would you rate it um I thought we did very well in a few things just limiting the explosives uh definitely thought our Run game was very nice they did have a couple chances to score near at the goal line what you guys think you did best with your back uh whenever our fans did a great job you know making them call a timeout we all HUD it together and make sure that you know that's all they're getting is just a field goal so even forcing a field goal that's still a 50/50 right there so just doing a great job not letting him get you know anywhere close to our goal line and are you a fan of Toby sack ction yeah he's been talking about it for a little minute it was ever since the Sugar Bowl he's been talking about it Wai a couple years to show yeah there those people that that kind of rotated in all throughout the entire defense you guys didn't really lose a step at all how I guess how proud does that make you about of your guys' depth and I what does that just say about what coming down road yeah there's definitely a lot of guys that can play in any situation uh you know down down to Aus Moore and and also going down to Rex or even cam Sal those guys just getting in there getting their feet wet and making plays it's just phenomenal it's just credit to our CES
