Introduction boys and girls here he is he's the heartthrob of Assisted Living happy hours all over Rocky toop it's the world according to Rocket hey now and welcome to the world according to Rocket I'm Ro B appreciate you being here final prediction for the North Carolina State Tennessee game this weekend in Charlotte North Carolina let's get right to it for A Final look at the numbers those of you who have not seen the big boss daddy college football computer this is it right here Tennessee North Carolina State ESPN has a power rating of 20.2 for the volunteers uh and uh the North Carolina state will pack at 1.2 therefore this is the true line for ESPN okay the Vagas line is well it was 3 days ago when I first made this this chart was 7 and a half I think it's up to 8 now it will probably go higher than that the closer we get to game time so we're going to say we're going to say eight for the moment right because I know it's at eight and the current line of the over total is 60.5 right I'll come back to this little bit in a minute um offensive efficiency versus North Carolina State huge Advantage Tennessee uh offensive efficiency versus Tennessee defense again huge Advantage Tennessee uh points per play uh 766 at to 0.52 um which comes out to basically a 52 to 21 outcome and that is if you will I use this term the overin window I know that's a political term but I am using it as as a metaphor here because that's kind of what it is that's kind of the best case scenario for Tennessee 52 to 21 based on what we know that is that is the optimum now um after looking at this and and and hearing other people's opinions and reading reviews and I also did some background research on Grayson Mcall and which I will share with you here in a minute uh well let's just go right to that let's let me just share that with you right now uh about halfway through the season he had a horrific Grayson McCall's Scary Injury looking injury he uh came out of the pocket he went on a scramble and ran about 20 yards and some safety as he was sliding went down and speared him and it was not good uh it knocked him out he was unconscious for several minutes he uh actually was taken to the hospital by the way this was our good friend Butch Jones team Arkansas State and so he spent the day in the hospital they released him he went back home and he was knocked out of the game well what happened was not only did it knock him out of the game it knocked him out of football he didn't play again for the remainder of the season and he missed like six or seven games five or six games maybe and the bowl game so when I was watching this guy play the other night against uh against who Western Carolina I'm going you know what I'm just not seeing this quarterback me he just not not very impressive and then it and once I learned this I see now why he wasn't impressive because he's just not fully recovered yet and I'm just bringing this up because maybe he doesn't recover fully in this game and maybe he does right maybe he comes back to the old uh the old quarterback that everybody was raving about how good this guy was but to me he was just kind of a pedestrian quarterback he what did he do he did in a whole game against Western Carolina What it Took Nico half a game to do right they produced about the same results and the teams were very similar Chattanooga is ranked 11th in the FCS Will NC State QB fold under Vol pressure? and Western Carolina 17th so they're about the same quality of team in the FCS and Grayson McCall didn't didn't Faire too well against this football team until until the fourth quarter he started picking it up and doing it playing pretty well uh I'm curious and obviously I'm just going to say empathetic with that sort of injury for sure and takes a lot of courage to come back see uh at the end of the season he thought his college football career was over right because they they wouldn't let him play for the remainder of the season and evidently put together this the doctor said you know what I think you can go ahead he had a concussion and a upper body injury you know it shook him pretty good right so he showed a lot of Courage coming back and and playing having said that what what kind of mindset are you in when you're actually playing a team like Tennessee for the first time ever being one game removed away from that horrific incident right what kind of mindset is this kid going to be in and it's going to be something to watch I can't predict what it is but he looked like a tentative quarterback when I was watching him play West Carolina I can't imagine him being less tentative playing Tennessee with Jam Pierce Chas James Pierce chasing you right or bu Carter chasing you from the backfield whatever we shall see um he is a from a press standpoint a dual threat quarterback he did not look like a dual threat quarterback against Western Carolina I do not believe he's going to look like a dual threat quarterback against Tennessee I could be wrong and so all things being Final Prediction reconsidered based on my calculations and how they compare with the rest of the calculations out there that I respect I am going to moderate my prediction from 5221 to 4221 just going to moderate that and why am I going to moderate it I've always believed it's going to be a 21-point game three touchdowns scores but I'm going to moderate it um because that's the optimum window 52 to 21 and they could to be on the road things can go wrong on the road so I'm going to moderate so final prediction 4221 Tennessee Go Big Orange thank you again for being here and don't forget uh tomorrow night game time I'm going to have a watch party and I hope you'll join us we have a lot of fun here people just kind of show up I do a live and yak and we eat and maybe occasionally have a an adult beverage so if you want to drop in we'll be here thank you so much again for watching Go Big Orange
