In the following episode, Seok-ryu and Seung-hyo
toast to their project's triumph with a late-night snack in the cozy confines of Seung-hyo's
office. Seok-ryu, eager to share the moment, extends an invitation to Mo-eum, who has yet
to experience the atmosphere of Seung-hyo’s workspace. As they arrive, a playful mishap
occurs—Seok-ryu stumbles just as Seung-hyo reaches to flip on the light. With a reflexive
move, Seung-hyo catches Seok-ryu in mid-fall, and the unexpected closeness sends a jolt
through his chest. Recovering quickly, he helps her back to her feet, both slightly
flustered by the unexpected closeness. As Mo-eum arrives, Seok-ryu is already in the
midst of preparing their late-night feast. While they wait for Seung-hyo to return from the
restroom, Seok-ryu recounts the earlier mishap to Mo-eum, piquing her interest in the day's events.
Proudly, Seok-ryu shows Mo-eum some pictures from her recent wedding photo shoot, and Mo-eum can't
help but admire her friend's beauty. Seizing the opportunity, Mo-eum gently inquires whether
Seok-ryu has moved on from her past relationship. Seok-ryu confides in Mo-eum that
she still has feelings for him, only to quickly dismiss it as a joke. She
explains that she ended their engagement and prefers to keep the fact that Hyeon-jun
cheated on her private. Unbeknownst to them, Seung-hyo overhears the conversation and starts to
suspect that Seok-ryu might still harbor feelings for her ex. Trying to mask his own discomfort,
Seung-hyo makes a lighthearted comment to Mo-eum, playfully suggesting that Seok-ryu's intense stare
is making him nervous. The truth, however, is that Seok-ryu's piercing gaze is her way of seeking
Seung-hyo's approval for her culinary efforts. The following day, as Seung-hyo immerses himself
in the bustling preparations for Greip’s flagship store, Seok-ryu eagerly tracks him down with a
spark of inspiration from an old kindergarten book. Since their recent hug, Seung-hyo has been
grappling with confusing feelings toward her. As she approaches, he makes a concerted effort to
maintain his distance, but Seok-ryu is relentless, shadowing his every move. Frustration mounts as
he grows exasperated with her persistence, and he finally erupts, demanding that she stop following
him and concentrate on her own affairs. When Seok-ryu questions whether he's upset with her, he
remains silent, which only spurs her on. Unable to contain his irritation any longer, he snaps, "Do
you think I'm a pushover? We’re not kids anymore." Additionally, during her morning run, Mo-eum
spots Dan-ho wandering through the neighborhood and immediately recognizes him. Curious, she
asks what he's up to, and he reveals he's on a quest for a four-leaf clover. Intrigued,
Mo-eum decides to join him in the search. When she triumphantly finds a clover and presents
it to him, Dan-ho's face lights up with delight, and he instinctively takes her hand in
gratitude. The unexpected touch startles Mo-eum, and she quickly withdraws her hand,
creating an awkward pause between them. Dan-ho, sensing her discomfort, reassures her that
he meant nothing beyond his admiration for the find. Later on, Mo-eum hands him the
precious four-leaf clover as a keepsake. Meanwhile, Seung-hyo, in an attempt
to distance himself from Seok-ryu, finds himself in an unforeseen predicament.
After Dong-jin, who has learned that Na-yun is affiliated with Seung-hyo, invites him
out for drinks, things take a turn. Dong-jin, having had a bit too much to drink, needs
Seung-hyo’s help to get back to his room. The following morning, as Dong-jin heads out for
his morning jog, Seok-ryu mistakenly assumes he's still asleep and goes to wake him up. Seung-hyo,
initially mistaking Seok-ryu for an intruder, tries to stop her but quickly realizes
who she is and apologizes. Seok-ryu, equally embarrassed, explains that she
had thought Seung-hyo was Dong-jin. The mix-up leaves both of them flustered,
adding an unexpected twist to their day.
