three Texas goes into an arbor and beats them 31-2 big win on the road at 10 Michigan this is my instant reaction first takeaway has got to be Quinn yers over 250 yards passing three touchdowns from the kid all over the yard he looked efficient he looked smart he looked accurate pois in the pocket with one of the best defensive lines in the country in Michigan which by the way the Michigan D line got tired as the game progressed on my second takeaway Steve taresian play calling but more importantly the recognition of personnel he recognized that gr and Grant on the inside were getting tired when they subbed out they ran inside Zone against two backup defensive lineman I love the way that Steve sarkeesian makes Quinn yers comfortable offense from Texas with a bunch of new additions looks like they've been playing football since fifth grade Matthew golden Silas Balden but more importantly the Isaiah Bond Quinn yers connection is going to be something fun to watch out for this entire season those two look on the same page defense three turnovers they red hav it on Michigan's offense Donovan Edwards only eight carries for 41 yards they had 80 yards of rushing offense for Michigan which is what they love to do they love to run the ball they can't run the ball you put the ball in Davis Warren's hands and tried to make him throw the football it leads you to two interceptions Michigan's problem is going to be the quarterback position we mentioned it before the season even started this Michigan team is like the early years of Jim Harbaugh the first two years right they got a average Quarterback you think back when Joel clatt talked about it with Spate and the quarterback issues they had but they had the offensive line and defensive line but they could not get the quarterback right so for Michigan fans I mean you still got a good team Coulson lelin played well I think you're just back to hard ball his first couple years and now you're starting to reload and develop guys in high school recruiting which by the way Michigan I I know we always harp on the fact that DAV Sweeney doesn't use the portal for Clemson Michigan doesn't have a lot of transfer guys either they could have easily went out and got a transfer quarterback they decided to stay in house Alex orey didn't play Davis Warren their quarterback Jack Tuttle sits on the bench too so Michigan's going to have quarterback problems all year we'll see if it develops throughout the year and we'll see if this offensive line who struggled against Texas's defensive line can run the football that third takeaway Texas controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides they look great you look at the stat sheet only one sack um for the Texas defense but their ability to stop the run and they didn't really have to pass rush much because they had the great secondary behind them big win for number three Texas as most including myself thought this was going to be a trap game for him going into ant Arbor they got the job done you look at their schedule red Rebel rivalry in a month or so and then they've got George at home after that it's going to be a great two stretch but Quinn impressive performance St starian has built there at Texas they are poised to be a Powerhouse in the SEC this team is meant for SEC football they did it against one of the most physical defenses in the country in a hostile environment in the big house and Texas earns a big win early in the season
