let me take you back to the year 2013 it was an amazing year you want to know why because that was the year of Flappy Bird he flaps he flaps I'm flapping right now you can't see it but I'm flapping I'll never forget it because I remember I worked at a burger place we sold Burgers it was like my first job ever I'm pretty sure I worked there it was either that or I worked at a warehouse but either way I remember when Flappy Bird came out all of a sudden everybody was playing this game I'm talking everyone and I'm really bad oh my God this is a really cool remake by the way this feels like the actual game I'll never forget the time PewDiePie played this game as well that video freaking love that video okay I don't remember I want to say my high score on Flappy Bird was like 150 I want to see if I can beat that it's kind of hard no it's deceptively hard okay supposedly there's an end to Flappy Bird I don't believe that I think there's are clickbait videos but apparently there is an in to this game and I want to say it's Mario at the end I'm going to look it up but there's a good reason why we're talking about this okay because this game was freaking lit all right it made everyone rage and and like I just remember everyone around me was just asking like oh hey what's your what's your Flappy Bird score it was like a flex to have a high score Flappy Bird everybody would be like well I got this much and everyone just like the bird that flaps people that didn't even play video games were playing Flappy Bird because you know it was an app I actually want to see how far we can get no God I am absolutely terrible at this holy crap man I've played a lot of the knockoffs there's been countless knockoffs of Flappy Bird but like they're actually easier to play this is just way too hard I swear I got like a 100 I would play this like all the time anyway the point is is this was a moment in time where you really had to be there it was it's kind of comparable to the start of Pokemon go like you had to be there to see everyone freaking playing the game like in public going around I remember man Pokémon go was amazing as well everybody rushing to go get like oh there's a freaking Charizard over there go get it it was a sight to behold and to me that was like Flappy Bird okay I'm actually trying I'm actually trying right now flap flop little birdie like I know this game play seems like like stupid and it's like but this was revolutionary back then Okay no Okay wo yeah I think you get a gold medal once you hit a certain amount but okay I got 45 I could do better if I try this is literally me 5 minutes of trying well ladies and gents we are they are remaking Flappy Bird and they just released a trailer what did they do to Flappy Bird why does he look weird I'm pretty sure this is a Fai faithful remake but it's like his lips his lips are different but what did they do to his face so yeah I want to react to this and cuz I just think it's really interesting I was like what they remaking Flappy Bird so when I seen the Flappy Bird was get it remak I was very shocked because I remember so another reason why Flappy Bird was so Infamous and so popular is because it got taken off the App Store everybody knows because the Creator couldn't take the popularity of the game which is really crazy to think about I guess and apparently that's what he looks like I didn't even know that they tweeted this out right here I'm sorry Flappy Bird users 22 hours from now I will take Flappy Bird down I cannot take this anymore that's so crazy because like that's what everyone wants everyone wants their thing to be popular but for I don't know how to say his name dong it's literally his name uh doesn't apparently that wasn't you know it's not what he wanted so I mean I just I'm really curious on like what happened there 90 million downloads and ranked in 50,000 A Day In AD revenue and he took it down that's wild back then 90 million downloads was huge I feel like mobile games these days like sakera School Simulator for example the game we play a lot has over 100 million downloads I feel like the game was only up for like what a year or something like that right so I was like oh the Creator's putting it back up right I guess not it's a different Creator so let's react to it sorry I know I'm I'm yapping and stuff but like it's kind of context 10 100 countries everybody was playing this game people going crazy by The Addictive nature of the game until suddenly was game over the mobile game Flappy Bird has been taken off App Store and Google people smashing their phones their disappoint can't play flppy Bird anymore inace dude man those old days of PewDiePie man that really takes you back you have no idea man those those really those are the days oh no there's a feathers blowing away it's in the water now in 2024 flappy bird will fly again missed opportunity to say flap I don't like the new look of Flappy Bird's lips bother me join Flappy Berg tra according to this comment this is allegedly I really don't know the Flappy birg trademark was considered abandoned and another company basically filed against the original Dev and acquired the rights for free whether or not you care about under headed corporate C crash cash grabs please keep this fact in mind and then okay so this person right here Apex says yeah it just don't understand why does the Creator hate the game so much if it was so successful that's what that's what's crazy is that like it's just a bird about flapping what in the world would have someone going crazy over that you know what I mean yeah the new Flappy Bird will definitely be filled with pay to win we are not winning chat that's what I'm saying like it's not dude it's not the same as it used to be it was just a bird that flaps his wings that's all he did now they have to have skins cuz that's the only way that things are popular these days we can't just have simple bird that flaps this look at this this lit it's really like a test of Mind see I I'm so bad at the game it just makes you angry makes you want to get a better score now I'm all for updating the game and if it was the creator but it just kind of feels weird not having the same Creator I guess not that I was personally attached to the Creator or anything but it's just weird so this person said right here uh that he removed it himself because he regretted making it because of how addictive it was so I just think all the attention to the game just like freaked him out I suppose I would like to read more about that I mean yeah that's that's I think all we know is it was too addictive to people thing is is like there's way worse things out there it's like there's not even paid there's nothing to even buy in the game that's what's crazy about it he was just making a bunch of money off ad Revenue honestly this guy sounds like a pure Soul they haven't even tweeted I wonder what they think about this you know what I mean they haven't tweeted since 2017 pretty much the creat Flappy Bird had released this app which well I mean uh it's not like it did bad $100,000s is not bad what you're I think this came out like a while ago I mean what 2017 maybe it's still being updated but it's just like I don't get it it just doesn't make any sense why would I think that's it I really think that's it it's just the attention that the game got just like freaked them out I guess and but it's like why are you making apps if you don't want people to download them I don't I don't get it it's like you hit the jackpot I don't really like the way it looks it does seems off to me why they got three eyes now it looks like the the fish from The Simpsons so obviously we're going to have the currency it's just it's just another mobile game it's all the same so another thing that I kind of read about is that um the creators of these games I think I don't know if it's true I need to look into it give me a second do some detective research according to like these articles and stuff that I've seen on Twitter that like the creators that are bringing this back are like huge into like nft stuff now I don't really know a lot about nft stuff I just think they're stupid just seems like a big waste of money but it's just like kind of weird that there's a bunch of different versions of them which kind of I mean doesn't that remind you of that like look at them like just something about this isn't say right with me because I was there I was there in the Flappy moment I was flapping my wings with everybody else but this just feels odd but I don't know man what do what do you guys think did you guys did you guys play the original when it came out I just think it's kind of weird that the Creator is not involved in it when they they're the ones that kind of like made this thing that turned into this huge thing see I guess on on Twitter see I I didn't say this so even on Twitter they got like Community noted about like the crypto stuff and uh I don't know I just think that's kind of sad because you know the Creator they they created something cool and I think it's more linked to my memories of playing it and how fun it was at the time and then like watching PewDiePie's video I love that video man isn't it like one of his most viewed videos are probably like game videos so many dumb ways yeah so he he he titled this Flappy Bird and everything and only played it for like two seconds I think D Ways to Die also another good game another good game [Music] there PewDiePie please
