welcome back all is nice and warm outside and we even have a little bit of a taste of fall out there today yesterday was the Cloudy cool day today we have the bright sunny warm day still feels like an early October day with temperatures in the low 80s as opposed to what is coming over the next several days and let's kind of sum up the month of August at first it was honestly not that bad at all pretty mild temperatures after a record-breaking July where we had about 5 days of 100° here in Eugene in August we didn't even hit it once in fact Roseberg didn't hit it either 98° was the warmest that we got in the month of August but as you're probably familiar with now the triple digits are coming back as soon as of the next couple of days and that's unlikely because usually in the month of September we start the downward Trend in temperatures but we are not going to be coming anywhere close to this average uh most communities are going to be about 20° above that average high temperature uh for the September 1st date now the alltime record for Eugene is 103° by Thursday we're going to hit 102 so we could become very close to that all-time record high notice it was set back in 1988 and the heat is going to be building another record that we could possibly tie is 7 Days at 100° for the entire year now the last time we did that was back in 2015 and we would have to hit that on Thursday and Friday right now it looks like we're only going to hit it on Thursday but still a pretty impressive stat even if we got six days that's going to be about the second most 100 degree days we've ever had here in Eugene so
