yeah and that's not going to make her feel much better I knew she was going to point to that Mark there a quality point to fend off set [Applause] point that was a really fun 35 minutes out here on court five but it is the former runner up at the US Open Lea Fernandez who strikes first just a rather agitated and frustrated Anastasia Popova Canadian takes it by six games to two je injection of pace3 and again just not sure anyone else is hitting that as a dry volley there I think it's laya's turn to find a winner not this time second set the Ace from Anastasia what an incredible final game that was to end the second set about 11 minutes both players had chances but it is podova who takes it 6'4 and a one set shootout [Applause] required well what a battle that was nearly 2 and 1 half hours out on court five and Anastasia podova wins just her second ever US Open main draw match and does so by beating Lea Fernandez the former US Open runner up for the very first time as well having lost the previous four matches they've contested
