2024 UEFA DRAW, Who is playing who?

welcome back to the pitch side report yeah we had to change uh we had we had to change the name folks uh based on I was looking up a Football Focus name the channel just looking it up online on YouTube and I just saw a thousand of those so I was like all right I got to switch it up switch it up so we are now the pitch side report I know there's a pitch side so if it has to come down to and I have to change it later we will change it later but for now we will be the pitch sh report um and we report on the News man uh mainly soccer we talk about sports analysis we talk about what's going on in the transfer market anything chat eventually we're going to be having some live streams once I get some folks who want to join me on this and have an actual conversation about soccer um yeah let's get into it we're actually just going to piece over the UEFA Champions League draw recently that went in uh that was that was that took place and uh if you don't know if you're behind a rock or under a tree you're just not a fan of the UEFA Champions League that the uh the structure has changed so I believe each team will play eight teams uh two from each pot don't quote me on this um I'll have it up here let's look just because it's it's a lot you know what I'm saying and it's UHS okay yeah so there's one two three there's four pots so each team plays a team two teams from each pot um yeah and I just wanted to run through the the teams um it's not going to tell us the fixture list as far as homeing away because of course that's a big difference especially if you're in a stadium like Liverpool's or Real Madrid's so yeah we'll brief um we'll briefly touch over this uh we might touch over the Chelsea game later as well real quick um it wasn't really a serious game as far as you'll see we'll touch over the Chelsea game and then maybe some transfer news as far as an update especially if you're someone who um wasn't able to get caught up with the the Morning News uh so in Real Madrid's group or Real Madrid will be facing Dortmund Liverpool uh Inter Milan Atlanta salburg Lil stutgart and breast I should be fine but those are some decent games them versus Liverpool and then vers Dortmund Man City they got inter PSG club Rouge Juventus fyord sporting CP uh I guess I wonder if that's changed oh no Sparta Prague and BR bratis salava Bratislava which never heard of them so hey we're going to get to see some different teams play I guess the whole idea here was to have the competitive teams playing more games if you weren't aware what the the last format was you know uh four teams in each group typically each group there was always one group of death but otherwise each group only you know had two teams that most likely would move forward or they had definitely had one team that was definitely going to move forward so by game two excuse me by game two or game three you pretty much already had the deciding you already knew who was going through so some teams would slack back so I can I can understand why they changed it plus the threat from uh the Super League so UF is trying to make this more competitive make the bigger teams play more teams I I get it I get it of course at the end of the day we know what this is all about that cheda that cheda the more games the more these clubs can make so I don't know how many games overall You'll Play I think four extra games this season um that's just from some report I saw so Bayern Munich they'll be playing PSG Barcelona uh Benfica shakar Dynamo fyord brost brost lava and a Austin Villa um PSG oh PSG probably have the strongest group holy crap they're playing Man City Bayern Munich athletic Madrid Arsenal PSV salsburg Jona and stutgart wow even if they don't if if they don't get some of these favor favorable ties um at home yeah I mean some of these are going to be difficult games Liverpool probably got the toughest draw out of the English Premier League teams I would say um they're going against Real Madrid leig lusen and that's where I'm saying like the AI definitely knew you know what I mean they definitely wanted to get Alonzo playing against Liverpool you know what I mean like that could just I could just be saying that but it's not surprising that they're in the same group and that they'll be playing each other uh Inter Milan they got leig Man City Arsenal Leverkusen I don't even know what this is crevin Sada vesda young boys Monaco and PARTA Sparta pra brussa Dortmund they got Barcelona Real Madrid shakar that's pretty pretty fair draw for a team like that I wouldn't I would expect them to win all these games I mean I would expect him to beat Celtic Dynamo Gaz Binga balna uh Club Rouge and shakar leip they that's a tough one for them I mean all these Liverpool Inter Milan Juventus athletic and ason Villa should be tough ones what is who's Aston Villa playing I got to get to them crazy how many teams there are I guess I won't go over all of them just the top ones um Atlanta they got a fair group Real Madrid Barcelona and Arsenal all in the same group or at least they will be playing Juventus freshman City and Aston Villa Arsenal they have PSG enter they have a pretty decent group I mean like as they should easily be in the top of this group that they're in or I guess it's not a group they're in but the teams they're playing they should receive the most points to be able to be in the top wherever however that's going to move forward I guess I need to look more into it and then I guess we'll find we'll finish up with Aston Villa they are playing I think they have the hardest yeah they probably they might have the easiest yeah see so atin Villa man don't sleep on them they can find themselves further in the competition than it looks like I mean they got Bayern Munich leig Juventus Club Rouge Celtic young boys BNA and Monaco they should easily I mean they not easily but they should be they can beat Byron probably me we never know Juventus they could beat Juventus you know what I'm saying 's a bad boy I don't know if y'all know emy's a bad boy how many teams has he gotten far in these competitions when no one expected it right right so that's that I guess we'll touch up and give a update whenever we get the whenever we get the the fixture list all right next we're going to touch over some Transfer News real quick quick let me uh get myself out of the way here this a little [Music] smaller Che okay so yeah we got the transfer news doesn't look like many updates of course kza went to Liverpool um let me know what you guys think about that Liverpool Sports you think that's going to be a good one for you or what I think it's going to be a definit definitely a good signing at least fresh Runner who's a dedicated player who knows how to get the crowd hyped and at Liverpool that's like one of the main things once you get that once you get that crowd hyped they're pushing It's probably hard to score seems like a great environment seems like a great Stadium to go to and play elsewhere it looks like uh yeah Chelsea still trying to sign aan they they should definitely get Tony instead if I were to have the choice I'd want Tony because he's prier uh Premier League proven so don't really know about aiman you know some of these some of these African players they're a little overhyped especially um from afcon not saying they're not Ballers just some of them are overhyped um ugate he could play this weekend for Manchester United I don't really see that happening um but we shall see things should uh change though I mean today's Thursday we have the transfer deadline on Friday so things should start taking place and start making order oh God I'm so glad that the name Manchester United is not linked with this man anymore Arsenal if y'all want him take him get him he might be a better fit for you than Martinelli you know what I mean or not because I don't care for uh Raheem Sterling um as of now he was solid back then as a uh as a Winger and and and pep used him in a great place and use him the right way but what I want to have him on Manchester United Team in his current state with these current players and this current coach no I wouldn't what else we got wolves Target Andre left emotional ahead of flumi farewell who cares Wolves yeah they need some players they're they're struggling aak signed vorse from Burnley I guess that's good for him he he kind of got slept on at Manchester United and the rest are just kind of Neil mop Marse that's cool other than that yeah not much other transfer news I'm sure we're going to get some big updates over the night um of course I'm in America so you know what I mean we get the the the top League information we get a little late I don't know if we get it a late or we could possibly get it earlier because we could get it before you guys wake up but I never seen it like that typically and then yeah last topic uh Chelsea they played they lost today and that was I was talking them up boy talking them up they lost for Ser Ser CV CTI however you want to pronounce it um and uh you know players not really going to dissect the game that much I didn't really watch it uh specifically I had it on the TV but I was doing some other stuff I started watching when they were down and yeah they weren't able to come back but they they they did play a bunch of substitutions seems like the the coach is still trying to get a fill out uh he took Modric off at halftime and and that poor soul man that Modric guy is just not that good overall when he comes to the point moments that matter in games and it's just unfortunate looked like the coach tried to give him a shot and just is like dude you know enough is enough you know take him off at halftime is what it is and he's probably not going to make that team like at least the first 23 or I'm not too sure on how many players each squad has um you know I think you know like just to make the Champions League squad or your first team you know I know it interchanges but I believe they register everybody I know one year aubameyang didn't make Arsenal's Champions League Squad I'm sure that was for more reasons instead of just that he wasn't good or not but yeah it does not look good for MRI and is what it is if you're a Chelsea supporter do you think he should be in your team do you think he should not or do you think he shouldn't be in your team as a Manchester United fan doesn't matter to me I think you should keep because I think he sucks but you know what I mean is starting lineups of course it always changes you know what I mean it changes like right before the game just in case you know someone has an injury or or whatever right someone yells at the coach
