Cynthia. Have you had a good day today? I've had an excellent day. I had a great workout this morning. That's enough. I don't need to know anymore. Yeah, I worked with this woman one time at Cincinnati. She'd walk in and she'd go, hey, Pete, how was your day? And I said, oh, I had a good day. She goes, oh, what did you do? And I'd start to tell her and she'd walk away. And then one day I said, well, I had a car accident, you know, they had jaws of life, had to pull me out. She go, ok, see you later. And I'm like, oh my God. No, no, I meant that I, you can, you can tell me during the commercial break how you were but the people at home they want to hear about the weather. Let me show you this. So look at this Trey Harris, uh tweeted me this. He said, Pete, we've had almost an inch and a quarter in Rockwall in Rockwall County. You had a nice soaking of rain. Look at that over one inch of rain. I like that. Temperatures have cooled down 87 right now. In Rock or in Terrell. It's amazing what a little bit of rain will do. 89 in Dallas, 84 in Sherman. So we've had some nice temperatures in Fort Worth. You've been dry. It's 91. Your heat index in Fort Worth is 95. Feels like 97 in Corsicana and 95 in Decatur. So, not a bad late August day. 94 was the high today. That's the normal high. 77 the morning low, the normal low is 74. So pretty close to normal. DFW didn't pick up any rain but DFW will pick up rain and many locations will as we head through the upcoming weekend and hey, we're still above normal for the uh for the year by seven and a quarter, 89 outside right now feels like 94 east southeast winds at 13 MPH pollen. Today, Elmon grass are both still there. They're both still moderate and fungus today. That's on the low side. So we had this little cluster of rain. There's Rockwell County there. It is rolled right through the area. Then it just fizzled out this activity off to the southeast of Dallas. That'll diminish over the next couple of hours. A little wider. Uh Look, we have just really the showers and thunderstorms in East Texas. A little bit of rain up in the panhandle, a little bit of rain out here in the Big Bend area. That's where we definitely need it is the big bend area in far west Texas, some pretty serious drought conditions. There, here's the forecast. There's seven o'clock tonight. Here we are. Watch this. It all comes, it fizzles out. Mostly clear skies develop overnight tonight. That's seven tomorrow morning. So now watch tomorrow, I've got about 30 to 40% of us picking up rain tomorrow. I think this is the best model of the bunch. And I'm really not completely, I'm not 100% on board with this because I don't believe it's showing enough rain. It won't be widespread, but 30 to 40% of us will see some rain, especially as we head through that middle part of the afternoon. Then the early part of the east there's 3 p.m. It should be more widespread than what this is depicting. And then as we head through midnight tomorrow night, cold front moves in. It's a weak front, but it will provide just enough lift for a little bit of rain as we head through Saturday, there's Saturday morning, then Saturday afternoon again, not widespread. There's a lot of folks that won't see any rain at all on Friday or Saturday than other folks like Trey did that could pick up over an inch of rain in a short amount of time. Saturday night, we start to dry out again. Then on Sunday, rain starts to develop. There's noon, watch the rain develop, it's scattered about on Sunday, we repeat the same situation really the same scenario as we head through Monday, seven o'clock on Monday seven, Monday morning, rain just develops. It's scattered about and then it slowly tapers off as we head through Monday evening. So my rain coverage once again, 40% tomorrow, that means 60% of you won't see any half of us see rain. Saturday, 60% of us see rain on Sunday and half of us on Monday pick up rain. And if you pick it up, you could see a quick over the course of the whole Labor Day weekend, you could see a quick half an inch to an inch. 75. That's the low tonight during the day tomorrow. Uh, it's a warm day, partly sunny, scattered rain. 93 tomorrow. There's the next 14 days. Focus in on the first seven rain every day. Not widespread. I, I don't have any severe weather in the forecast. That doesn't mean we couldn't have some quick winds with some of these storms. We saw that a couple of days ago in Cleburne. Uh, but again, some 3040 mile an hour winds. It's not a tornado situation. It's not a large hail situation. Some ponding on area roads can't rule it out with some of these thunderstorms as they dump some heavy rain. There's seven days, here's the final seven, not a drop of rain in the final seven and temperatures that's pretty reasonable for this time of year because, I mean, you know, we can certainly have triple digit days in September. We've even had them in October. But, uh, that's not a bad 14 day. I wish we didn't have the rain on the weekend. But, you know, what do you do? So, we got a bunch of rain this afternoon and, uh, so my wife and son are at home and they just went for a golf cart ride with the neighbors. They're living their best lives right now. Yeah, I know. I got to get a text and we just went, I'm like, oh, I'm stuck at work talking to Pete Del and they're, they're going for golf cart rides. Can I get?
