one interesting chapter in this history of human communication we're living through will be this thing that we're describing where an ancient human impulse to engage in Witch Hunt like mob like behavior is paired with a kind of equally ancient and somewhat good behavior which is like a desire to make the world more just to be on the receiving end of it it's it's it's tough to do with the kind of Grace that I want to live my life by because on the one hand I should own the fact that I was a douche and I definitely regret The Dumping of the drink I'll own all of the things but you're right it was kind of boring because there wasn't a crime like all that ended For What and if I dwell too much on that I fear I can become like some people who get publicly shamed you know you become bitter and all the you know victim mentality takes over so instead I have to turn to the other thing which is just getting curious and say okay what's up with this human behavior how do we best understand it
