you've been around a lot of coaches what is it uh about Chiron Moore what he wants what he emphasizes what he wants this program to be that stands out to you uh first of all the the easy answers he wants us to to be Michigan stay Michigan who we are since back to B Fielding yast you know he wants to carry on the tradition of Michigan what stands out with me with shiron is how much car about the kids players how much he cares about you as a coach how much he cares about people how he likes to uplift people and uh you know I just think that he has all the characteristics of being a great leader and you know he was that when he stepped in for Jim last year and U it it's going to be a fun journey to go with go with him on this and I'm really looking forward to it basically obviously is number one in the multiple categories um pretty much number one you know in every important category um do you feel the pressure to beat that standard also especially concerned that obviously the offense is as much of a work in in progress as it is um I I think that you're not worth the grain of salt if you don't feel pressure as a coach every year no matter where you're at um you know do you want to be better than that sure you do sometimes what you is not always what you get there's different opponents like you said different different offense than what they've had and everything fits just right when you end up being number one I've been around some number one defenses and everything just fits right that season but I I think that there's no doubt where the bar is set and there's no doubt where I'll set the bar and that's for us to be the best in the country and I'm not going to hide from that I'm not going to run from that neither are we as a defense is thater this you sort of put the lid on the Don Brown you heard this narrative and you kind of put an end to that yeah I mean it's it's it's ridiculous as I see it you know it's it's ridiculous you know it's you have defenses that ranked number one in the NFL and the top five three years in a row and you you come into the new system in New York and you know you go into the playoffs but what do they want to talk about they want to talk about last year the last year you know and you know it's just the way life is it's where we're at today's society that's fine with me I know where I stand and I stand where I'm excited about starting training camp and and finding out who we're going to be because it's up to all of us
