For us as coaches inconsistent. I think there's been some good
some some bad some things that we
have to work through. Just everything guys working
together some guys that are brand-new getting used to some of Aaron's
Cadence's tie rods Cadence's there are a lot of new players
here. So they're just kind of still working their way into it.
So it's kind of getting those guys up to speed. You know, that's something that
has happened. He's working through it. He snapped all last year and
never had an issue. So I think that that's it just
kind of happened that way. Yes. Today sometime that's how that
those days. Go. No. Nope. Just don't worry about it. He's
done a long time a lot of years. How is Aaron left Mobility wise
and everything compared to what you're used to pre-injury good? No, he's been fine. Are you encouraged by the sample and case you guys is that a carbon price certainly from the standpoint of the
system being Robert indicated you guys much further ahead. Oh, I love
that. I do love that. We've had more place. I think that's
something you know as a coach. There's so many things you want
to keep working practice is so limited now compared to when I you know, we talk about it all
the time from when I first started back in 06 when over two
days and you got tons of plays and you got to really
develop guys so every rep matters for us because they are
so limited and I think the guys have done a
good job with those extra reps and
everyone that we can get is
important is a lot different than your one because the system has already
been implemented. So the guys in the room can help
the new guys they can all work together so
you can kind of Push the envelope a little bit more
go a little bit harder experiment with some new things.
So it allows you to have a little more fun. You know it with Garrett. It's
about the chemistry with Aaron and when he gets his chances
with tie rod, you know, that's what you're
always looking for. He's a very Dynamic unique receiver and the
quarterback have to get a feel for that. Yes and get a feel for
the quarterbacks making the easy ones look good in the
hard ones make looky hard ones look easy. And as for some I mean he's he's
a dynamic player. So I love seeing that chemistry. I don't know if I'd say he's
he's much different. He's the same guy with me since the
first day I met him. You're starting offensive line
graphs together. We'd like that to happen as soon
as we can. I think we all know for what we
experienced in the past is that any combination would be out
there at any time. And so you have to be able to adjust that
any time with that. So I love guys being able to play
different things different positions work with
different guys. The more we can have that
consistency together is always good but you never can sit there
and say that during the season it's going to stay
that way. Have you seen her game
development strictly at left tackle. It's not too big for me. I think that he is a very great
worker. He's a really good person. I think the guide the veterans
around him have been great for him and really pushed him. Also. There's a lot of you know, it is
faster. There's a lot of things he's getting used to
being especially first day of pads yesterday. So I just see
him to continually developing get better right now. It is somebody that's
not a blast. You know, we've got probably one
of the bigger running back rooms in the NFL I think and
it's going to be fun to watch them. Carry the ball. I think both those rookies have
done a really fine job the big concern you always have looking
in the NFL going from college and NFL isn't necessarily running as
much as the pressure pickups. We see so many unique and
dynamic fronts and our defense doesn't amazing job with that
and I think that's something that I've really been impressed
with is them their communication with Aaron discussions with there. And and
tie rod to be able to know what their responsibilities
are and I think that's been something
really special downhill baby stretch and wide
and get downhill. For someone like came and he say
he's not much different but he is said, you know, he's only got a couple
years left. You see more of a sense of urgency.
I know it's there all the time but is it more like
I got to get this done? I mean, I it's just how he's
always been. I mean, he loves the game. He loves practice, you know when he gets out there
with the guys. I mean he has so much fun. He wants to do so many different
things with them and see the different things that
they can do what they can handle. I mean, he's a coach Out
on the field. So I just see him in being out on the field
and enjoying the heck out of it describe what L was arguing for
the last year and how we come back so far up to this point, you know, he's
done a fine job. He had a rough season last year.
I think we all know that he knows that and it's been
great to see him rebound and become a leader on this team and
continually work and for Alan since I've known
him, he's always been one of those he's a team guy and to see
that aspect in his game this year, you know, he'll just do
anything. You asked him to I mean, that's
how he's always been and and I appreciate that about him
and want to see him keep getting better his do you see previous season? I would you know right now he's
unbelievably focused. You know, he's so focused on all the
different things that were asking him to do. The good thing about Alan is he
knows this offense very well so we can utilize him and put
him a different positions. He does a great job helping the
guys out on the field and the meeting rooms and now it's
about making plays and that's what we need. In to do out there very excited about
Mike. He's working really hard. Is that for rookie? You know, you guys have
heard me talk about rookies. They're guys
that I'm very excited about all their potential but
potential they just haven't done anything yet. So for him,
it's about as many reps as he can get
that's really what the rookies that's
where the lack of reps hurts them because they don't get as
many as we use To in the olden days. So everyone matters for
him and not just running a line on a paper but understand
the intricacies of attacking a defense and what we're asking
him to do. So, I think those are things that with time you'll
just continually develop.
