"Jessica Szohr's Wedding Without Blake"

Gossip Giri alumni After dating for a long  period, Jessica Szohr wed Brad Richardson,   a former professional hockey player. Vampire Diaries alumna Nina Dobrev, 35,   served as Jessica's maid of honor during  her wedding earlier this month. Jessica,   39, and Brad, 39, exchanged vows.  Over the weekend, the actress posted pictures  from her wedding to her Instagram Stories. In the series of photos she captioned,   "Tying the knot," fellow Gossip Girl  alum Chace Crawford also visible. Blake Lively, their co-star on Gossip Girl, who  was referred to as the "monkeys" by the cast in   an uncovered interview amidst her drama on It  Ends With Us, was not invited to the wedding. After dating since 2019, Jessica and  Brad welcomed their daughter Bowie in   January 2022. Lexi, Brad's daughter  from his first marriage, is another. Blake's "feud" with Justin Baldoni,  her co-star in It Ends With Us,   and the film's director have  caused a flurry of turmoil. She may be seen participating in a panel  discussion at Paleyfest 2008 alongside   the stars of the CW series, including Leighton  Meester and Ed Westwick, in a now-viral TikTok. Lively delivered the scathing comment  while disclosing the "promises" that   the Gossip Girl creators gave to  her in exchange for her accepting   the role of "It girl," Serena van  der Woodsen, in the teen drama. "No pet monkey was the other promise," she  disclosed. Lively was alluding to Chuck Bass,   a character played by Westwick in  the books, who has a pet monkey. Chuck owns a pet monkey that wears matching  clothes. And I thought, "I would love to be   part of the show but I can't act with a  monkey," Lively laughed as she recalled. Then, with a swift nod to  her co-stars on her left,   she turned and remarked,  "Well, I got a few of them." The audience erupted in amusement at Lively's  comment, but she assured she was "just joking." Meester, who was wearing a bright yellow dress,   twisted her face at Lively,  seemingly unamused by the joke. Stars of Gossip Girl Chace Crawford  and Penn Badgley avoided smiling and   instead directed their gaze on the stage floor. It was a joke, come on! As the embarrassing  clip ended, Lively shouted, "Lord have mercy!" It's probably not a good idea to  glance at #leightonmeester and   call your coworkers apes. #gossipgirl  #blakelively #thisisus For background,   she is discussing promises made to her  by the Gossip Girl authors in exchange   for her agreeing to undertake a television  program. There were none of them monkeys. She posted pictures of them cuddling  and kissing with the message,   "Just popped up- I think I want to marry you :)." Nina held her best friend's "BRADchorlette"  party earlier this summer, and in May 2022,   she announced her engagement. The Love Hard actress posted adorable  pictures from the celebration to Instagram,   one of which featured the soon-to-be bride next  to a life-size cardboard cutout of her fiancé. In another picture, balloons were set  up to spell out "Same Penis Forever." The two actresses got to know one another  while they were co starring in hit CW shows. From 2007 to 2012, Szohr portrayed Vanessa  on Gossip Girl, and from 2009 to 2017,   Dobrev portrayed Elena on The Vampire Diaries. Jessica had no idea what to expect  when Brad asked her to marry him. She commented at the time,  "It caught me off guard;   I didn't think it was going to be when it was,  and I didn't know it was going to be this year." I was about to go to bed with eye cream  on when he said, "Hey, we need to talk." Jessica might have thought a  fight was about to break out   after hearing that phrase,  but Brad instead proposed. Canadian-born Richardson represented the Colorado  Avalanche, Los Angeles Kings (with whom he shared   the 2012 Stanley Cup), Vancouver Canucks, Arizona  Coyotes, and Nashville Predators in hockey.
