him tell hey you need to stay here because he's an undrafted free agent when somebody else would have said man get your money right now you got a chance to go to another team and and collect that bag defending Champions ah they're villains good nobody likes them great they're the villains they're the best team in the basketball the defending two-time champs they went three times they're the bad guys Michael's got to defeat them this year oh yeah he's gonna climb the mountain and defeat them and then he's going to take over and then we're gonna have Michael and Magic well we've been wanting to see see that for years you know how many fans want to see that in the finals why it's not happening fellas well the Lakers team is old doesn't matter who's old or age it's not about age it's about sponsorships they got everything going on so they're doing great they're thriving now to the point that they're able to negotiate a deal and whole team people hostage No More Mr Submarine he wants a sponsorship still Mr Submarine can't make the price no more the NBA the money's going up oh yeah everything's going up they got expect expansion teams all of it's going up now it's all about marketing that the best team was the Portland Trailblazers in the west they blazed the Lakers in them last year there's no way they that team could lose wrong they're gonna make a way if you want to know corruption go watch the Western Conference Finals in 1991 go watch the Lakers versus the Trailblazers it's the most corrupt series you're going to see they cheated the Portland Trail Blazers who was they're the antagonist so now the the whole election thing is going on with the Dream Team and going over there to play so now the committee is talking about where we're going to have NBA players in this dream team so now everybody's talking about that the selection process was going on during that first year in NBC Rob Thorne uh dick ersa their livid that they didn't get the passing of the torch with Isaiah not really just they just walked off the court he was like that's that's a horrible there's no ending so he start freaking out because his TV series did not have an ending in the game so now he want they're gonna punish Isaiah period because the games are going to be on NBC and they was like no no no I don't want Isaiah on there and Michael like yeah that's right I don't want him on there so they kept Isaiah off and then that ended up being the black eye of the whole Dream Team forever and you still hearing about it to this day all because of NBC and this whole Big Money Pot scheme that they got because it's now entertainment so now the NBA is in the game of entertainment world everything is falsified and fraudulent the next year the Portland Trailblazers was struggling uh not the same team they were the year before where they was thriving but they were still pretty good and they were beating everybody but still struggling now the wheels was kind of coming off teams were tougher this year but they NBA helped them get them to the finals because they owed them from the magic thing from last year so they helped them so they played again this year and they got to the NBA finals magic was you know HIV spokesman he went on the team that year so as they went forward and got there um to the Western Conference finals and represented the West Portland was now head up with Jordan Drexler Jordan who's the best so they had the head-to-head matchup and that should have went seven games Bulls was the biggest ticket in town now they done won two championships the Knicks were the new bad guys they made them just like the Pistons but they just didn't have our talent but they were the Pistons they got Pat Riley and Riley's he's trying to destroy Michael and Patrick Yan and they made the pitches on their faces look darker like they were evil they did all of this on purpose and they had Michael Jordan as the angel then next thing you know cocacola and Gatorade Michael Jordan had a deal with Gatorade and he had to deal with Coca-Cola he cut cocacola off and went with Gatorade a new company that was basically doing stuff out there in the 80s and down south they were killing the market now they F to go with the NBA and go worldwide because Michael Jordan brought him in they were sponsoring Mike next thing you know Coca Cola is kicked out of the NBA Here Comes Gatorade people were drinking a cocacola going out there hooping minute made cocacola and they out there on the floor that goty cut off and they went straight to Gatorade because of Michael Jordan so now the endorsement money is coming in heavy now they getting major endorsements big money's coming through big contracts coming through the door now everybody thinks it's crazy right no they put Jordan and Drexler in the finals they screw the um Seahawk I mean Seattle uh supersonic so now is these two teams going at it in the finals Michael wins again now we got the Olympics and dream team now the game's going International more people want to see the NBA Dream Team goes on to put on the show Charles Barkley was the biggest star of that so the next season the NBA goes well what should we do here we're running out of we Michaels need to play someone who is Michael gonna play in the finals this year Well Michael well no one thre Pats you know it's it's we we gotta have something to oppose Michael that's a real threat well I don't know you know we could send Carl Malone call you know Carl's ready you know he was just talking about how his team he didn't feel confident his team could go and you know VI for Championship you know Clyde them's ready we could run that again we kind of seen that um I'm not feeling any heat from that I mean Charles Barkley's amazing I mean he's great television great interview we we've got to get this guy but he's on the east of the 76s yeah but is he really happy there they're not really winning can we get him to the West what team can we put him on I don't know can't put him on Portland we just saw Portland oh the Phoenix Suns just missing a guy he would fit in great there yeah he would that's that would be a key over there they got Kevin Johnson he's got a lot of players a lot of pieces here they got Dan Marley this looks pretty promising can we get him to the Lakers well let's try to get him on the Lakers and see if we can rebuild the Lakers back up without magic they discussed bringing Charles over to the Lakers it was almost a done deal now we already went through why that didn't happen so then the Phoenix Suns issue came back around and they said Phoenix is it the Lakers was not in a position to even transition away from that as magic was thinking about coming back and with Charles and all of this so that was a whole thing was going on with the Lakers now going into this season Charles end up going over to Phenix and they took right off I mean they got Charles Barkley for nothing and Charles Barkley end up taking off and it's like dynamite it's like a stick of dynamite the Phoenix Sun became team of Destiny and they got Paul West head and everybody's talking about the Phoenix Suns the Bulls can't compete with this team and now they got Charles this is it team of Destiny this team was no competition for Michael Jordan and the reason why was no competition for Michael Jordan because at this point in his third time in the NBA Finals Michael Jordan was at a point where he was knowledgeable B of the game this is where the fadea away was coming in at a lot this is a lot of his you know he wasn't really using his athleticism as much in this year you know he was he would use it from time to time but it was more balance he was starting to get that veteran style of play where he was becoming like okay all right this dude's hitting spin around fadeaways like spin fade it was like whoa he made that and he was unveiling that in a Phoenix Suns game in the regular season when they won that game and people were shocked to see Michael Jordan so efficient with this short range jump shots with his back to the basket normally he hit these shots facing the basket now he was hitting him with his back to the basket he was comfortable shooting him fading way out and just in these shots so Jordan was becoming more relaxed more calm uh as a basketball player more like he's figured it out he was starting to do that in 93 and when they played the Phoenix Suns um the Phoenix Suns was no match because they had no one that could guard Michael Jordan the guy that normally would have given them some problems Cedric sabales had broken his leg so he was out for the whole everything though the finals he didn't get a chance to play so before they really discovered what Richard dumans could do they had Dan Marley guard and Michael Jordan and that was a bad idea that just didn't go well oh yeah rest in peace to Paul westpa he said they traded Barkley for hor SEC long and Perry yep so with all of this being on the table the NBA has set up all this marketing for the Suns and the Bulls to meet and the Bulls are beating the Suns at home the Suns is one of the only teams in the NBA to have the best record at home and lose every game at home they lost every game at home because they weren't a team that knew how to close down the stretch the Suns either blew you out or they lost badly now they weren't a team that knew how to at the end of the game this is what we do close the game out they they lost so many games and that game six was a game that didn't make any sense how they would lose that game up five with one minute to go and lose in the fashion that they did in the NBA Finals was a total mental collapse I thought Don he' been dead I didn't know but rest in peace old Phil D now here's where it gets sticky after this and we're going to correct everybody on also on this this game is at the ultimate High Michael Jackson comes out with the song Jam that's going all through full on in Steam into retirement now during the midst of this the Chicago media had some detractors who wanted to take Michael Jordan down they want to find out this guy's squeaky clean image is too much something's wrong here and we gotta find it so the Smoking Gun came when Michael Jordan was playing golf with a guy and they was betting on the golf course like they thought Michael Jordan knew the guy's whole history find out this guy's a former drug dealer and a hustler I mean he he Jordan owes him money what kind of money Michael Jordan owes this guy now that became a story Jordan's gambling he was in Atlantic City in the middle of a playoff game against the Knicks if they lose to the Knicks it's because of Jordan's gambling when remember what happened with Pete Rose so right away they found their hook Jordan and gambling that's the big hook Michael Jordan's gambling like that's a big travesty nobody in the history of this world has ever gambled except for Michael Jordan This is a travesty so now everybody can see what it is don't forget to hit the like button good people I know y'all just got here some of y'all we're going through the NBA's whole entertainment line so now here's where it's going to go off the rails and this was going to correct a lot of stupid people who went along including media who wanted to go along with the lie that was told that David Stern and everybody in the NBA has told you is a complete utter lie because it makes no damn sense that the NBA was gonna suspend Michael Jordan for gambling so he just went into a retirement this is some stupid thing that was cooked up by the media to try to make face and make a story that wasn't any it was a lie and this when Mike retired they needed some type of hook and they said oh well the NBA was really GNA suspend them so you think they would have suspended they biggest earning commodity are you crazy we gonna suspend you for this thing like they the NBA is about integrity they could give a dam damn about Michael Jordan's gambling they could care less the NBA was not going to suspend no damn Michael Jordan he was not going to be suspended for nothing because he didn't do anything there's no crime to betting somebody playing golf the NBA didn't investigation he never beted on no games or nothing like that so they said well we don't got no proof of him betting games and if they did they would have submerged that under the water ain't no damn way they GNA F like destroy themselves we found it we dug deep and we're gonna put Michael Jordan out of the game so we can lose Millions for the Integrity of the game are you nuts he didn't break any laws so now so now the guy who he owed the money yeah Mike paid him off wrote the check no problem Michael Jordan was at that time was making 40 million a year from Nike That Was Then he making like 40 million a year in like the 1990s early off Nike alone in the NBA he only getting paid like 3.2 million think about how many millions they making off Mike Jordan turned that from aund million business to a billion doll business think about it aund million business overnight is turned into a billion doll business all off the back of him every team in the NBA is benefiting off Michael Jordan they're eating off him and he's getting paid $3.2 million a year from the NBA so all his money was coming from Nike and endorsements so that's why he was making over 40 million a year during that time now everything changed because after the fact everybody wants to jump up in arms and change the formats of what is happening because Michael Jordan isn't there so Dick emba is like what are we going to do Jordan's really retired he's going into baseball like oh no he'll be back he's just taking a break but right now we need something like what is the plan B oh the Knicks you know with Pat Riley the Knicks great Knicks is the plan okay who they're gonna go against um San Antonio's got a pretty good team I just don't not nicks NBA Finals here we come so this whole season is all geared up to the Nicks and Suns going to the NBA finals that was the plan going into this whole season the promotion and the marketing it's our time Patrick Yan says it's our time this year no Jordan they're the ones to take the the mantle so now here come the Knicks they're going to take over the Phoenix Suns after they're going to the finals now they're ready to compete for a championship all of the the things are laid out everybody is set to go and Off to the Races they go then comes the epic fight of all fights the Knicks and Sons play each other and get into the biggest brawl ever that they wouldn't even show it on ESPN anymore now because of YouTube you can find it on YouTube and see those teams fight Greg Anthony was in Street closed came up and punched Kevin Johnson in the face everything and he got his lip busted everybody jumped on him it got crazy and they said whoa the people are ready for this NBA Finals the Chicago Bulls go on a r mysterious run that just goes off Scotty Pippen is like yeah it's me I'm the leader of this team Scotty had a great first half of the Season Tony C coach as a rookie the guy who they hated coming to the team is hitting game-winning shots Bam Bam Bam and I told y'all all of this before the Last Dance even came because I lived it being here in Chicago I know all the way through it so the Chicago Bulls was was having all of this success and people were like why it's because if the Chicago Bulls who were picked right they were picked the Vegas eyes had them up there based off Michael Jordan so if you pick the Bulls to fail and they was like oh okay well I'm betting against the Bulls they are not F to do this now everybody's betting against the Bulls because ain't no Michael Jordan oh this team sucked so they put all their money on it in Vegas the NBA would lose all this money Vegas would lose so they were helping the Bulls win the Bulls was getting helped out so they could still win like look the Bulls are winning without Jordan because they had to have them winning because Michael Jordan left like right before the start of the Season like he Ain just up and retired right away so the bets was already made so it was like everybody was betting against the Bulls all that money millions of dollars was going against the Bulls oh my God they those people lost Millions who put that money against the Bulls and the people who had beted on Michael and them and the Bulls going like to a certain degree they were like in shambles like oh my God Jordan's golden I bet the money I bet the money Jordan's not playing this season we're gonna lose everything so they had to let the Bulls be successful but they weren't going to put the Bulls in the finals that's not what's going to happen second round of the playoffs they playing the Knicks they're down 20 then they hit a game-winning shot and they would have went down three- Z to the Knicks once they hit that game running shot they was Off to the Races it ended up going seven games and it came down to a Hugh Hugh Hugh Hollands made a call against Scotty Pippen fouling Hubert Davis and Hubert Davis had the hit two free throws and that advanced him to the next round to play the paces yep so once that happened and then Hugh he I mean Hugh Hollands hit those uh shots I mean Hubert Davis hit those free throws Patrick Yan bought him a car I swear to God this is he hit two of the most clutchest free throws ever took Patrick Yan took him out bought him a car straight like that so after buying him a car that call was BS that was the but don't blame Hugh blame the NBA they the one did that and they was like man we would have won the championship you would have lost the Indiana in the next round you w going to the finals so now the Bulls is out the Knicks are going on their way the Phoenix Suns face the same type of problem they were being helped they got to a situation where they just don't know how to close games all of a sudden they're up again they fall asleep they're up two games to none fall asleep here come the Rockets they're up three games to one and they lose the they lose the West conf finals three games to one they were up everybody said the the Rockets were done they came all the way down to the very last game game seven and Mario Ellie hits a three from the corner and seal the Doom for the Phoenix Suns who always implodes and shoot themselves in the foot and it was nothing the NBA could do at that time was no magnet ball like they got today they would have never let that happen and now you got the dream AEM Elijah won in the NBA finals against the New York Knicks the NBA is like what the f is this I does Elijah one even speak English I don't know they did not Market in plan for the Houston Rockets to be playing the New York Knicks now let's get to the games now it's going like okay it's two to zip Nicks is up everything going great right so I think uh they played wa wa I think the Knicks had uh they didn't have home court advantage I think the Rockets had home court because I think they they split those games they split in uh New York the Knicks was up three games to two going back to to Houston the OJ Simpson thing hits and all hell breaks loose Bronco Chase in New York and the ratings were so low for this series they said everybody's watching on every channel this Bronco Chase it is killing our ratings on the game we got to switch over to the Bronco Chase so the NBA game was first the Bronco Chase was in a little small screen then they made it on the big screen and put the NBA game in a little small screen I said oh my God it is falling off the rails so now you're getting the whole gist of the story NBC made the switch immediately so now everybody's got the Bronco Chase and the NBA Finals is going on this is how far they fallen in one year because they did not prepare for the inevitable of what the what if the Phoenix Suns don't make it we've been marketing just these two we we don't know really nothing about the Rockets we got to do that on the fly so next thing you know Rockets go they win and beat the Knicks that wasn't supposed to happen either the New York Knicks wasn't supposed to lose to the Rockets the New York Knicks had the game Sam Cassel came in and got hot and hit a bunch of Threes right along with Kenny and it was like whoa whoa whoa wait a minute they come back and they they took the lead and won the game so game six the rocket are crushing him that the Knicks is about to give it up Starks goes off Starks couldn't miss he was hitting everything he put up and now it's a game again now they could tie the game it got to the point where they could take the lead Starks is own unconscious in game six people don't notice they always talk about star Starks in game seven the reason why Starks was like 0 for 12 or three for 12 in that game is because he was on fire in game six he couldn't miss John Starks is hitting everything he put up when the game looked like it was over and he came back into the game and then they brought all the starters back in they was bringing the bench in Starks was like I'm just gonna be firing and was hitting threes and they were like whoa John Starks is onean Wrecking Crew he brought them all the way back so it was a game again and then they made one turnover game six is over rocket survive we go to game seven Starks couldn't buy a shot he was like three for 12 or whatever and it that was just the series and the rockets lo I mean won and it's nothing they could do they couldn't stop dream Pat was done and now they're screwed it's 95 what are we going to do here we have no plan and let's see what the season goes from here let's try to get the Nicks and Suns and hopefully we can turn this thing around is Michael Jordan coming back yet you sure he doesn't want to come back damn well we gotta go with this Sons Nicks let's go so the NBA start the season off with Suns and Knicks now they're starting to see this Shaq and Penny kill O'Neal and Penny hard away they getting a lot of push a lot of push and Sean km is starting to grow up now he's becoming more formidable than just a slam dunk guy so it's like well we got the scattle SuperSonics in the west this is looking like it's gonna be a really good year SuperSonics is on fire and it's like okay the suns are imploding but we got this Superstar team they're young Gary pton you know Sean km they high flying energy the young people like it this will be great we might have an upset with the Phoenix Suns losing to the 70 to the SuperSonics and we might have the fresh NBA Finals with the young guys versus the old Knicks and then we'll have the Knicks beat them and then they'll we could play this so now they have something to play with then guess what happen happens the Denver Nuggets young Denver Nugget team the eigh seed the number one team in the west the superponics 63 win team with San Antonio we thought it'd be crazy but no it's actually working this is pretty good this team is starting to come into its own let's go David Robinson is MVP and here's this robman and and he's dying his hair different colors David Stern is going nuts but people are loving it and he's gonna help David Robinson get to a championship so now Seattle's gone let's put all the push behind San all these years Glide was right there let's go so when Glide won the championship everything changed now the Houston Rockets beat the because after Nick Anderson missed those free throws they were mentally rocked they couldn't they couldn't recover because Nick Anderson couldn't recover Clyde Drexler ate him for breakfast the entire rest of the finals he couldn't do nothing with Clyde Nick Anderson was helpless and then his free throw percentage he went to like a 70 something percent free throw shooter to like a 50% free throw shooter he didn't even want to go to the line anymore he was you making I know what I'm worth and I'm going to get what I'm worth so they would have paid him 50 but due to taxes reasons they paid him 30 something million a season it's say you're not g to get 50 because of the tax reasons and everything else we can't put you in that but 30 they gave him like 34 million one year so he got like 30 million a year but his asking price was 50 million a year so he ended up getting 37 point something million each year another 30 something million from there they were they had to pay Michael and he told Michael no man is worth no one man is worth that kind of ratings was Chart top they were doing numbers big with AI and the Lakers but that propelled the Lakers up a little bit I was like all right we ready for this rivalry so now the very next year in 2002 AI is pretty much hurt this season and they have nobody to really go in the East there is no Runners up they haven't really prepared any team to Vibe for an NBA championship and nobody really looks good and the teams that do look good they're small Market teams like the Bucks and the Bucks just tried to sue the NBA uh Ray Allen tried to sue the NBA over them getting cheated against the 76ers the year prior so there was no way they GNA allow this to happen so the New Jersey Nets with Jason kid was just on a roll they just ended up playing well and actually you know you got the New Jersey Nets versus the Lakers they're going for a threee and it was the worst probably most boringest NBA finals in history people were like wake me up when it's over and they went laying down and the NBA Finals was gone just like that in January of 2002 the NBA went through a rights deal that they closed with TNT and they moved from NBC and they were going to be going to ABC and ESPN and that's where they've been all of this time since 2002 and from that era when they won the three repeat and the numbers had took a little dive down again and they left NBC they had noide idea that the Walt Disney Company is going to run this production into the effing ground and that's what happened ABC came and ruined the entire NBA Walt Disney start making everybody a star and and it's all about stars now it's not about wins and losses let's just have stars so they first Finals is we're going to do the s Antonio Spurs versus who oh um the New Jersey Nets so the Spurs and Nets is who they kick off with in their first Finals they have no plans on anything they just want to see everyone shine and put some music and sparkles everywhere and play some Disney music and everybody's like bored so the very next year we go now they let this whole finals go and then out of no where comes to Detroit Pistons out of nowhere they like all right this is the old piston Lakers rivalry let's go Pistons are back next thing you know they realized something that they never expected the Pistons are good rashed Wallace was on the team and that was the last thing they needed and you couldn't cheat the Pistons they were too good they had a game plan and Shaq and Kobe ain't getting the this whole thing is imploding Kobe won't Shaq out like one of us got to go it's either me or him Who you gonna build a team around and that so Pat Ry stayed on the sidelines when he was about to go into the front office completely and they let Pat Riley go to the NBA finals with the Miami Heat and win a championship before he went into that dog on upstairs room he's like let Pat stay on the floor one more year so they put Pat Riley on the floor so they can have that recognizable face put pat on the dog on Sidelines he got a championship with Dwayne Wade and all of them when they screwed over the dog Dallas Mavericks who they just sent and it's like okay we got to introduce a new team here the Dallas Mavericks got a shot and Mark cubin and they totally ripped them off [ __ ] was like I want an investigation ABC is like shut up you need to be here so now everybody gets to see what's the NBA looking like so the playoff game started to expand to seven games in the first round they made uh all of these changes and rules and it was the cater around LeBron James who became their new Catalyst we got to find a way to get this got at the NBA Finals so for all of these years the ABC was trying to get their money back they're trying to build it around LeBron James and for all those years the Miami Heat all of those years the the Lakers were the only team when they played the Boston Celtics with coach when they got the big three in 2008 is when everything changed big three came that was when they first started having their Skyrocket team and their ratings and that was when the big three came in 2008 so when the big three arrived in 08 and then 09 they had um they had another run they had Derek Rose come into the league and he was just destructing the league won Rookie of the Year and he was just incredible to watch Braun had the worst ratings in NBA finals history when he went up against San Antonio and had lost earlier so all of this was nonsuccessful for the league right nonsuccessful absolutely thanks for the Super Chat will appreciate it who's done better for the economy uh it's hard to say because Heat has become the agenda of the ba of we're going to make LeBron James a superstar right here in Miami he was never supposed to leave Miami now all of a sudden they got him out of Cleveland and got him in Miami now so he can build his legacy and win championships now here comes Dallas comes in whoops him embarass him in the finals now they made it up to Dallas from screwing him over years prior now we've got something going ratings Wen that bad Dirk ninski won and got his championship finally they took care of that got that monkey off their back now it's to LeBron era we gonna put you in
