Intro joining us now from New Jersey is IDF officer yonathan Ben Shalom hi Shalom good morning thank you for joining us so tell us please about the experience Experience at the Congress joining prime minister nany's speech at the Congress netan presented your story and we all saw of course the energetic Standing Ovation was so exciting it was very very amazing was very amazing because all the Senators and all the people in the Capital stand stand up and claps because we are the heroes of Israel of the army and we injured for a good Mission we injured to save Israel and for for not not only for Israel it's only it's also for all the people in the world also the people in America and I Thank you understand that people came over to you spoke with you embraced yeah a lot of people came to say thank you they said they said thank you for your service and thank you for everything you did it's it's because they they know that the we did that to save Israel and to save the people in the world they said thank you also because the mission of the soldiers in Israel is to beat ham Hamas because Hamas it's a terror organization they want to kill everybody in Israel and to destroy all the Jews in the world now what do you tell people when they ask I lost my leg you about the great price you lost your leg due to your injury that I lost my leg but I lost my leg and I happy I am happy because I did a mission for for my country and H if someone before the injured asked me about the war I can tell him I will lost two legs I want to lost everything for my country because this is the mission I want to save my family and my my country because we don't have any country from Israel now you're in New Jersey you're going Embrace of the Jewish community through medical treatment you're feeling the Embrace of the Jewish Community yeah a lot of people in the community in Brooklyn also New Jersey in D they invite me and help me with anything because they they want they know that I a soldier I inured in Gaza I came to United States and I I don't know have anything in this country and they want they want to feel to fill the soldier to fill the war so they invite me and help help me for everything I want to end with the idea of being happy Being happy we see it on your face on your smile and I understand it's not only about you being happy what I heard from people that were with you in the rehabilitation Department in the hospital is that your ultimate Mission there is to make others happy and give strength yeah I felt H that the soldiers the injured soldiers in the hospital in t Sher ER they they felt and feel ER very bad and very sad also the family they need lot of helps so my mission I think the God saved me for this Mission H to help more people also help more injured soldiers to to make to make them happy yonathan Ben thank you very much feel good thank you so much thank you
