hi everybody Jordan steel 88 with another video this is a victory Monday for the Pittsburgh steel the win over the Falcons yesterday so and then and got some other steel news to follow so let's get into it so on this Victory Monday I'm going talk about the offense yes I know it's gonna be something something that I already said in my recap of the game yesterday and I'm say I'm probably going to say it again because the offense needs to work on getting touchdowns we can't just win with field goals I mean they got to learn how to finish drives the offense needs I mean it has some good drives going but just one finishing them but the good thing about the offense is that they didn't punt the ball a lot you want to put it like at least two or three times in that game and speaking of a punter we we lost our best punter for the season and I knew it was going to be a season end the injury for for cam Johnston on that on that play I thought it was going to be rough the punter but the referee CAU it otherwise because one of the Falcons players that um was was blocked by um mes kobu ran into our opponent and injured him and the on the um next pun after that Chris Boswell punted he did pretty good and Scotty Mill who we acquired from Atlanta by the way made a play on special teams to stop the return now let's go to Justin Fields like I said before he did a pretty good job of managing the game he didn't turn the ball over he didn't do anything crazy he used his legs when he needed to get first downs at times now on that fourth down play I I agree with the decision to go for but the alignment were not prepared that's that's why we turn the ball on on downs from there so the offens line need to learn how to be ready now Spencer Anderson who who um playing for is M who was um injured by the way he did okay Broger Jones did okay too not not not great but fine and the offensive line overall did fine especially sa Frasier he he um had short-term memory of his um that um Miss snap on the first play of the game I don't know if he was nervous or something could be could be nervous but he got it together though now because especially going back to Fields he was connected on George Pickins who by the way had huge catches in that game two of them were huge catches in that game man but one of those catches he had to say um that could have said Ste for a touchdown was called back over offensive pass interference which is a BS call by the way I mean I mean that draft could have set a touchdown could have now so and the defense that like I said before in my recap again did a phenomenal job especially getting Splash C what my T will call we got from TJ B um former recovery off of a bad snap Deshawn Elliot got interception in his defense of second possession and then and then deante Jackson who we got from a trade from Deontay Johnson got intercept got um huge interception that pretty much put the game away I didn't put the game away um but on his on his first interception as a stealer he nearly had a pick six I mean he almost did have a pick six but you'll stop in the red zone so and TJ W could had at least like three or two sacks if those PS weren't called on defense on the first sack he got to um Kirt cousins he they say he was off sence which I did not agree with that I mean because the rest they was screwing GJ wat over they were trying to give the falus a win which I did not appreciate at all I mean he got that the second sack it was a force it was a force for but the falus player jumped on it but the penalty was on on for we got still got a penalty for illegal contact I was pretty mad about that cuz i y can um yeah I don't agree with the offici but I'm not going to get dive too much into that so you can you can um about the officiate all you want to but hey it is what it is but it's for it's nice for us to get a win for sure and Chris Boswell he won the game for us and by the way he was named special teams player of the week with those six field goals or five field goals he connected or those six excuse me that he that he connected I mean he won us the game for for sure and he puted only once what I said before so so yeah man if now if Russell Wilson is healthy you can go can they can go with Russell Wilson if he's if he's 100% now if he's still not 100% you stick with Fields yes he didn't for a touchdown Which he should have or or got no touchdowns at all was was any air or on the ground but you go what it feels if Russell Wilson is not 100% healthy so hopefully hopefully I get to see Russell Wilson play in week two against the Broncos so he can get revenge on his former team so yeah so and Naji Harris he did pretty good gr he only got like 77 yards 70 yards rushing if I recall correctly on 20 carries and by the way the offense did a pretty good job down strrretch of killing the clock something that that Matt Canada didn't do and I see some play action passes two from Justin field some that am not seeing from at Canada I know off Smith's playcon was got off was T was terrible at times especially going those dress wh and reverses and toss players that weren't doing nothing I want to see I want to see some better play calling though because Naji Harris is not a sideline Runner he's a up to gut Runner even use J War because those plays were even working I mean I get a Falcons front seven credit cuz they did a pretty good job of locking things down so and the defense if I forgot to say corrected made up for that um B assignment when they allow that touchdown pass going towards halftime and that feels and pick a connection is going to be some of to see in years to come because like I said before George Pickins had two huge catches that said set set still for scoring I know none to enter the touchdowns but hey he did a pretty good job on that so so yeah man now now that cam Johnson the punter out for the rest of the season the Steelers has signed a new punter who I heard for a couple hours ago um about hour or two ago excuse me they s um corus waitman so he was an undrafted um player that we got in the 2020 draft but so so with with um so that with um cam Johnson Al corus waitman if I say his name right is going to be our new punter so so yeah man so we got corus waitman as our new punter and the other news Still Still Nation you may be familiar with this we signed safy Terrell Edmond to the practice squad from Jacksonville now Terrell Edmond was a first round pick of 2018 draft one that Kevin corber reached on because Kevin because trell edmans was not um first run material pick at all yes he played with um M fist petrick for the past like in his first in the first te with Pittsburgh he had first in Pittsburgh for like four years or something like that or five I don't know I don't recall but in his like five years or four years in his first 10 with the Steelers he only got he only got like four career interceptions if I call correctly so so we weling back to real Edmond back to the Steelers now he's going to be I know I don't know he's going to be on our after broster after he signed to the practice squad but I understand C suspended for eight games so so yeah man so that is my victory um Monday um post video excuse me and and then we signed cor waitman and then Terrell emis is back with the Steelers B on the practice squad and 12 M when after we left Pittsburg spent time in Philadelphia and then then went to Tennessee and then was on JAG real Jaguars practice squad and now he back with us I mean we got some depth at safety though I know we got desan OT going to be our strong safety so I don't see being a starter though so but we we loaded at safety though so yeah so D emis is back with the Steelers so let me know what you think
