incident occurred at 650 Lincoln Street a student housing center at the University of South Carolina their warrant state that Watkins assaulted the victim by forceably grabbing her face pulling her by news9 a respected CBF local TV station that I'm reading from the warrant states that Watkins also picked up the victim against her will and carried her it goes on to say Watkins grabbed the victim's away and pulled a fire alarm which led to the arrival of police and fire Personnel she was treated for injuries the warrant described as not life threatening threatening jail records which still showed Watkins as detained up till 300 p.m. today indicated that Watkins was granted a $30,000 personal recognized bail she was charged with kidnapping y'all this is she is charged with kidnapping and assault I'm just saying these are major charges $30,000 bond it was confirmed that she has been released she was released from jail around 3:30 and the records are no longer listed in the public jail charged following an alleged assault that happened on Saturday morning as of today according to warrants filed by USC police so there have already been warrants for her arrest file she was arrested she's been released but the police are all over this so what we're going to do the warrants were filed in the rest of ashl Watkins the incident occurred at 650 Lincoln Street which was an on campus apartment which brings campus police and regular police into it in South Carolina the warrant state that Watkins assaulted the victim by forcefully grabbing her face and pulling her by the arms and by South Carolina police in the arrest of Ashlen Watkins the incident occurred at 650 Lincoln Street which is a student housing center a student housing center at the University of South Carolina the warrants for Ashley Watkins state that Watkins assaulted the victim by forcefully grabbing her by the face pulling her by the arms and pushing her she also physically picked this female up and carried her held her against her will the warrant States it goes on to say that Watkins grabbed the victim's head and forced her to walk down a hallway thus controlling her movement listen to the verbiage here controlled her movement while preventing her from [Music] leaving listen to the verbiage there forced her down a hallway controlled her movement and prevented her from leaving I just wanted to say that again so y'all understand the magnitude the warning states that the victim eventually Got Away the victim got away which another statement that indicate she was being held against her will she got away away the girl pulled a fire alarm to escape alleged ly the possession of Ashlen Watkins she alerted the local police the fire department and campus police she pulled a fire alarm she was so scared alleged jail records which show Watkins was detained till around 300 PM 3:30 they initiated they they they basically indicated that Watkins was granted a $3,000 bill you know you only have to pay 10% personal recognized Bond he was charged with kidnapping and first deegree assault and battery first degree premeditated she was released around 3:30 p.m. now this is what is also interesting the the news station reached out to South Carolina athletics department for a comment a spokesperson said they are aware of the situation and they are continuing to gather more information picked her up and carried her down the hallway forced her to go down the hallway and didn't allow her to leave the vicinity so the girl ran and allegedly pulled a firearm that's what we know that's what we know right now I'm just relaying the facts that's it I'm just relaying what we know right now what other media Outlets are saying we don't know we know that she could potentially face jail time we know she could be suspended we know she could be dismissed we know she could maybe possibly never play basketball again career could be over we don't know could be swept under the rug charges
