[Music] uh great ball game today um you know a lot of incredible um positives coming from this one today first of all the rock was you know the Rock and uh he took the ball uh really did a nice job kept them at at Bay the bullpen picked him up uh right behind uh V and and uh you know Snider looked outstanding and then of course Mooney in the ninth just a great great job on the mount and then offensively a lot of great things I thought you know reallyy picking up a left on left sack fly in the first inning after they had scored to kind of tie the thing back up I thought was an incredible at bat I thought that was a kind of a statement early on that we were here and um I love that and then you know the home runs obviously it's a great way to get offense for sure uh coming with two outs big at bats um you know guys swung it today a lot I I you know I thought if if there was a a typical sort of um scenario to look at I thought uh Panos at bat was just outstanding the ability to fall off fall off fall off and then to be able to just flip something in the right field for a base hit that's that's awesome that's what uh uh these guys are doing they they're up there they're they're battling each time and and uh just some great EP ATS again today D is this kind of what you had envisioned and hoped what your Outfield would look like you know once all three guys were together healthy and just playing out there at the same time yeah and there's tremendous excitement from those three guys obviously Julio we we've seen what he brings and and you know another diving catch tonight or sliding catch in center field uh Ro Blaze with the Homer Julio with the Homer Rosara with the Homer I mean these guys uh some big games out there and they're going to play some great defense out there it's it's an exciting Outfield to watch and and uh it's going to be fun to to see these guys continue to work together we talked pregame about Julio what did you see from his at bat to where maybe some of the adjustments he's been working on were able to have some yeah I thought he was he was patient tonight uh you know we against especially against the Lefty when he hit the Homer you know a couple of pitches just off the plate where he laid off and then got a pitch you know more middle middle in and was able to hit it down the left field line um you know obviously he's like we talked about he's he's working on stuff and he's doing things in the cage and as all guys are and um you know it's great to see and and and we're get we're beginning to see some of that and and uh on the field and you know that line out to to the first baseman was another great at bat where he got something that he could drive and he did uh you know he hit it the other way but uh it was coming off his Barrel really really good today it might be so simplistic but just how different are you guys when he's producing the way is and just the I guess the effect he can have on the rest of the lineup well I mean you know it's it it it can be very contagious offense is very contagious and and when he's up there when they're all up there doing what they do especially offensively I think you know just it just trickles down and and um uh we're excited this is this is a good one to build on another good series win and uh we'll take it on the road on on Friday you mentioned with JP coming back with him and Ro BL kind of back-to-back leadoff guys I mean having a guy like Ro BL in the number nine spot just exactly what does that do for your lineup well I mean you know you looked at you saw it today where you know he hits the Homer and then JP works the walk and then um Julio hits the homer so that's you know four quick runs right there and that's a that's a that's a pretty good offense when you're able to do that and and uh that's what those two guys are able to do you know get either get the runs in or get the get the thing started and and uh really liked what I saw from from those two guys today for sure two Series wins and two games and the rubber matches that that you had to had to win to do that can these type of games these type of performances be kind of a spring board and kind of set the tone for yeah I think you know I think we just got to keep piling up Series wins I think that's the key it doesn't really matter how they come um and again we've got we've got a lot of work to do here and and and we're looking at that way just keep putting together good baseball good at bats uh good pitching performances and and uh we'll turn around and see where we're at Dan is that every game has been competitive I mean is that the important aspect there we haven't seen the lopsided ones where you get hammered or you know it's just been a competitive level of baseball right now yeah it has I think that um you know again when when you got guys in the clubhouse that are willing to to fight like these guys have been willing to fight um you're going to get great at bats late and and we've been in every game and we've gotten great at bats late and and uh you know we've just we've put up some some tough tough games against the you know the opponents and um that's that's all you can ask for from a team and these guys have done it uh and they're going to continue to do it throughout September and and uh you know it's it's it's been a good stretch so far I mean it's been six games since I've been here but uh you know to to see these guys respond as they have is is exciting you said it doesn't matter how you do it but this is not how fans are used to seeing the errors win by putting a bunch of runs up night after night as from your seat what's that been like just to see the offense wake up like that well I mean you know again it's it it's a matter of time when you put good competitive at bats up there you you're going to get good results eventually and you know today was a was a day that we saw some really good results and um you know again we'll just you know we can't get too far ahead right we we we we we've got a long way to go through this thing but but to be able to to look at something like this and and to see a little progress and then just continue on it and keep keep harping on it and and uh see where it continues to take us what's something that surprised you about this team something that now that you've got a couple series under your belt something you didn't see from the outside that you see now um you know we we've I I think where these guys are uh mentally is is um sometimes when you get to this point in the season uh it can be tough but but to have a little they have a lot of life in there in that clubhouse right now and and um you know we are chasing somebody we're not even really thinking about that um but these guys have a lot of life left in them and I think sometimes when you get to this point in the season you don't see that but these guys have it and um it's been really fun to be around and uh it's going to be really fun to be to be around it in September too then how big was Austin both for you today got some big outs for you and kind of a transition there yeah yeah that's a big part in the game for sure um games are one and lost often in that stretch and uh you know he came in and slammed the door I think you know again the pitching process here is pretty solid and and Austin came in in a good spot and and really slammed the door um and you know got us to to a later point in the ball game where um you know it was Snider and Mooney at that point so um hats off to to the bullpen hats off you know everywhere up and down it was a it was a team win it wasn't uh one's you know particular aspect of the game doing something amazing it was everybody doing their part contributing and that's the mark of a really good team all right you're Dan you're not going to make him go shirts and ties on the road or anything like that like the old days are you Lis we saw a ton of fast balls today and a lot of swing and Miss on the fast ball how much of that was part of the game plan against them or maybe an adjustment you made as the game went on when you could see they werewing [Music] yeah um we picked that up during the game U basically from the first inning we realized how effective was being and the catcher and I you know made the game plan that it was being effective so why not keep throwing it um and I think that's why it was a main reason of what the results that we got today um but right away um The Catcher And I and the pitching coach we kind of made that plan that we saw a lot of swinging Miss on the on the fast ball so that's the reason why we threw it a lot what's it been like working with Garver just the very few amount of times that you've had pitching to him [Music] [Music] yeah I think um he's been great um he gives me uh great location he catches the ball pretty well I think it's only been three games that I've caught with him but since then with him you know I feel like he's a great catcher back there he's been able to get the ball right and so we have some great communication back there Lu just what is the feeling is this uh back-to-back Series wins right now just what is the feeling with with this team does it feel like things have kind of stabilized a little bit and Dan told us he said there's a lot of life in that clubhouse right now are you feeling that too you feel like this team has a lot more uh still left to play for in front of you house yeah you know I feel like it's a a lot of positivity Good Vibes in there unfortunately you know some things happened but like I said you know that's baseball um some one day you're here and you don't know where you're going to be tomorrow but in terms of the clubhouse I think there's a lot of positivity in there Luis in the sixth inning you give up the two base heads and then Pete Woodworth can comes out has a mountain conference and right away next batter strike out what makes Woodworth so effec effective at those Mountain conferences [Music] yeah he is a great pitching coach I think he's one of the best pitching coaches that you know I found my career um when he tells me something I know it's a reason why he's telling me this um when he went on the mount he told me this is your game go finish it you know so that kind of gives you a motivation when there a guy someone like that that trusts you and I think we've had a lot of great communication and a lot of trust me to him on you know since I've got here what's the most unexpected thing Pete's ever said to him when he a lot of times when he goes on the mound if I'm in trouble he'll go out there and he'll say a bad word and that you know I don't know why but it just kind of
