SHOCKER: Vikings Plan to Waive RB/KR Kene Nwangwu

[Music] what's going on jeromes so with 53 man roster cutdowns there's always a surprise or two and probably the largest shocker so far is reportedly per tal poo NFL Network the Vikings are moving on from running back kick return to King Ken and wongu per Source he'll be cut or traded uh by today's deadline now moving on is always such a weird turn because like it could be all right so moving on from the 53 but are they going to bring him back to the practice squad if he clears waivers don't know but I mean Ken this is really interesting one and frankly I'm kind of shocked especially since the Vikings have already uh waved uh running back Dwayne McBride and they cut running back miles gasin all right so now the Vikings currently only have two running backs on the 53 and Tai Chandler and Aon Jones but I mean k has established himself as one of the best kick returners in the game if not the best and we had always held out hope that the former fourth round pick out of iow was state would just like get it together as a running back because he's explosive he's Dynamic and he's a home run threat every time he touches the ball and frankly I think that he had his best training camp headed into year four and he firmly was running back three behind Jones and Chandler uh and also you know bonding with his guy number nine and Ken was doing really damn good so this this is kind of a shocker it really is and yeah things haven't really come together for him as a running back per se uh but also he's been stuck behind the eightball uh you with Dalvin and Madison and Tai Chandler Etc but as a return man he he's been fantastic but now just trying to reverse engineer things so Matt Daniels coach hat obviously you know loves Ken right but what was interesting is that so K didn't return any kicks in preseason which you're like okay it's fine it's like you know K is going to be the regular season kick returner it's fine they're rotating through you know McBride and Chandler and some other guys uh back there as as well uh and for they were just trying to hammer home carries for him as running back three throughout training camp at preseason but you're like okay it'll be good to go but also in training camp like Kenny didn't return many kicks either so maybe they were planning for life without him anyways and with the new kickoff rules like maybe it doesn't really suit uh what Ken does even though I think that it certainly would but right now I mean the Vikings have two running backs two tail backs on the uh on the 53 with Tai Chandler and Aaron Jon of course they have CJ ham at fullback as well can um just reading news and notes as things come in man uh but the Vikings they cut miles gasin veteran dude all running back he could be back on the practice squad Dwayne McBride uh they waved he potentially could be back on the practice squad and Ken who knows frankly I think that given Ken's track record as a great kick return also had himself some nice uh carries in the preseason you busted that long touchdown against the Raiders I mean does Kenna have some trade value I I I think that he certainly could and should as he said in into a contract year as well so I don't know does this mean that the Vikings are planning move uh of adding a running back I don't know I don't I don't know man but like I said this was the first shocker and there's always one or two or three every single year and this is the major one so far for the Vikings but your thoughts are thoughts reportedly of Vikings planning to move on from running back kick returner King Kenny and Wong let us know your thoughts our thoughts comment section below you guys know what to do skull production value
